Products are good. But! Prior to go to this store you better self educate. Sales people recommendations are not professional, rather careless.

Very bad customer service! I’m standing at the locked door outside and I can see her inside and she won’t open the door making gestures they closed at 5! It’s 5: 04 and I came a long drive just to get something urgent. Very rude she didn’t even look at me and ignored me standing outside in the freezing cold!

I made a trip to Sally’s in Mississauga, the Dixie and Dundas location yesterday and I had the most amazing customer service experience. I was pleasantly greeted by Michael as soon as I entered the store. I have to say I was really pleased to see the gender diversity amongst Sally’s staff team. I went for stocking stuffers and Michael had me set up with everything I needed, he was incredible. He helped me pick out everything I needed for those on my list. I can’t speak highly enough about my experience yesterday. Michael was cheerful, engaging, professional … the list goes on. Michael, thank you for making a difference in my day. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, skill, energy, enthusiasm and for going above and beyond to help make my shopping experience a positive and memorable one. Happy Holidays to you!

First time in store. Had a wonderful experience with Michael. He was very professional and pleasant. Michael took the time to go through their hair color products and what would be right for my hair. I appreciated the time he took to explain how the products worked, tips to cover my greys and which color is right for my hair. Eternally grateful and can’t wait to try out the products!

I recently visited Sally Beauty to find hair dye and toner, but I was unsure about what exactly to purchase. That's when a worker named Michael noticed me and my boyfriend looking around, uncertain. He approached us immediately and kindly offered his assistance.

We explained to Michael that we were aiming to transform my boyfriend's orange hair into a sleek silver shade. Michael demonstrated not only a deep understanding of the products but also a genuine eagerness to help us achieve our desired look without compromising hair health.

Honestly, Michael is amazing and anyone needing assistance at Sally Beauty should seek him out. He thoroughly guided us through the color-changing process, recommending just the right products for our needs. And even let me record a voice memo detailing each step for each of us to do to achieve what we wanted which was incredibly thoughtful and helpful, a gesture I'm particularly grateful for!

Michael even expressed interest in seeing our results, asking us to return and show him. I'm excited and look forward to seeing him again soon to show him! Thank you again Michael!:)

I had come in on Saturday October 14th - the day before I went to the salon and had my hair bleached. I went into Sally's thinking my hair was all splotchy and I needed help.

Chess and Rianne were working that evening and they were SUPER helpful. They told me I had green, yellow, orange and silver in my hair and all I wanted to do to fix itwas to go an ashy / dark blonde instead. They were so insightful and talked about all the different toners and why they chose the one they recommended.

They recommended a small bottle of developer, 2 bottles of toner. Chess even calculated the 1: 2 ratio for what they had available - she literally said - dump the entire bottle of this developer and 2 bottles of this toner - this is exactly the 1: 2 ratio you need. It was great, because I dont even have a scale at home anymore.

They even recommended a purple shampoo for maixtenance that was a good price -$15! Honestly crazy steal.

Towards the end, I kept asking "is there anything else you think I would need because I will literally buy everything in this store". To that they said "no, youre pretty much covered! ". I appreciate this honesty and that they didnt try to crazy upsell me on MORE stuff.

I am definitely coming back to this location if I ever have hair problems or questions again. I hope that I can bump into Chess and Rianne. They were SO lovely, fun to talk to and really knew their stuff.

My hair also ended up a lot better the next day

The ladies working there were very helpful, however they ended up giving me the wrong model trimmer than the one I picked from the cards on display. I didn't realize until I had already used it and the blade guard sizes didn't match what I'd picked. Called and they said final sale, no returns. The most annoying thing is that they are significantly more expensive than other online retailers, but I needed a trimmer ASAP.

First time in this store and I felt like I was invisible. White old worker in the front desk never helped or greeted me, didn’t say hi, or anything of that sort. I asked her a question and she was rude to me and didn’t look like she wanted to talk to me. Another lady (who was white also) who was there immediately got greeted and was nice to her the whole time. Honestly, never have I ever felt like someone was racist at a Sally’s in my whole life. Unbelievable.

Every time I've shopped at this location, the ladies have been very friendly and helpful. This specific time, I was looking for travel size shampoo and conditioner for colour treated hair. Even though they didn't have travel sizes, they gave me enough shampoo and conditioner samples to last my entire trip. I'm grateful to the ladies who helped me out!

Staff is great, really helpfull and trying their best! Also a great choice of products and not expensive.
