Salon Kreative - East Scarborough

Found this place online and decided to give it a try since it’s close to home. Booked my son with Chris V and myself with Fred and we both got great haircuts and got compliments on them the next day when out with friends. The staff were friendly and able to guide me through the process (first time in a proper barbershop and I don’t know the style lingo). I was amazed at how detailed they were with the clippers. The salon had a nice vibe and good music playing. We’ll be back!

I first came to this Barbershop in March, looking to chop off my long hair and begin a fresh start. The barber that I was recommended to was AJ, and although he had a tight schedule that evening, he managed to fit my cut in. I had a style in mind to attempt which would have been a bit challenging for my hair type, and AJ tried his best to give me that same style, however it ended up being far better than I could've imagined. He possesses a unique versatility when it comes to managing hair, and he takes his time to ensure that the cut is as clean and professional as possible. On top of that, both him and the barbershop give off a very friendly atmosphere, which makes you feel comfortable. I have been going to AJ since then for haircuts, and he exceeds expectations every time. Look no further for a barber who can deliver, both conversationally and professionally!

I just got a haircut from Kyle. Kyle is a very well-rounded barber (e.g. Fades, tapers, scissor work, bangs, styling, and blending everything together). At this specific location, I have experienced haircuts from Grim, Breezy, Jensen, Brian, and Kyle. As of this date, Kyle gave me the best most well-rounded haircut (i.e. Fades, tapers, scissor work, bangs, styling, and blending everything together).

Always book with breez and he'll make sure you have an amazing haircut and beard trim

Got my cut from grim and all I got to say is wow! Crazy clean cut, gave me exactly what I wanted and not only that but offered a great experience communication wise. Very knowledgable and Super cool guy. Thank you and I highly recommend him!

Had a amazing experience at this barbershop, got my hair done by Spencer really good young talented barber takes his time cutting hair, and gives u the freshest lineup’s recommended him for sure.

Chris is an amazing barber! The attention to detail is to perfection. The shop is very clean with a very friendly environment. All the staff are very welcoming and will make sure you’re taken care of. Highly recommend this shop if you’re in Scarborough!

Came to get a cut after 7 months, Spencer did amazing and turned out better then I hoped for. Will definitely recommend him and come back.

Charged 40 dollars for a beard trim and line up.line up was uneven and not good to be honest.place was clean tho.will find another barber.

(12/31/2022) Visited Salon Kreative twice and had great experiences both times. My second visit prompted me to write this review since Alaa (my barber) did an amazing job giving me a skin fade and beard line up. Went to a New Years Party the same evening and immediately was pelted with compliments by family and friends. Highly recommend Salon Kreative. If you visit for a fade, be sure to book with Alaa.:)

You can tell that a barber is doing it for money or doing it for the passion. At Salon Creative you will find passionate hair stylists. I get my haircuts from Breezy and he always makes sure that his cuts are perfect. Breezy helps you out with your haircut selections and always listens to you. Great vibe and nice setup. My favorite salon in the whole GTA. Thanks team Salon Creative and especially Breezy for the best cuts!

Hi, I booked a service with haircut, wash and hot towel from Salon Kreative Scarborough location for my husband after seeing a lot of good review…HOWEVER the service given by Alaa was so bad…he seemed very arrogant and not welcoming at all…even when my husband asked some questions regarding haircut Alaa responded very rudely…NOT HAPPY WITH service at all…More than that Alaa DIDNT PROVIDE THE BOOKED SERVICE (he didn’t provide any hair wash and hot towel) …this is not the kind of service we expected…would never go again…. Horrible customer service….

Read your response and I am shocked to see how you only understand barber’s frustration…so the missed services for the cash paid is fine? Regarding double booking - the booking at 5pm was cancelled.anyways not coming back to this salon…

I’m giving this salon 5 star only because of Paul. The best barber in Toronto, Very talented and skilled guy, he takes his time, doesn’t rush and gives u the best hair cut that u could possibly ever get.

They did me so dirty my head top is so bad now that I can’t even look in the mirror. I have to wear a shiesty mask for a couple of months now. Can’t come back here

I've been going to Breezy over the past two years. This guy knows what he’s doing and is super chill. He always takes his time and always gives me an amazing fresh cut. He always listens to what I want and also makes suggestions to make the haircut sharp and goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are satisfied. I would totally recomend Brezzy to anyone

Kreative Salon is one the best Barber shops in Scarborough, Toronto and it's my favourite. They have amazing customer service and their barbers are pretty good. Honestly, I have received a nice cut from almost all of their barbers so it is kind of difficult to determine the best, however, Paul, Melvin and the other guys awesome but I think my favourite barber @kreative is Muaaz.
This guy is so professional.
He's one of the best in Scarborough.

I've been going to Salon Kreative over the past couple of months and what I can say from my experience it's probably the best barbershop you can find in Scarborough. The shop's atmosphere gives customers an incentive to get their cut here, as it is super clean, and really great barbershop conversations to talk about. I've gotten cuts from both Benji (@barber.benji) and Jai (@gv.fades) and both of them will definitely tailor it to your liking and will provide suggestions that may complement or enhance the cut so that you'd walk away with a fresh fade cut at the end of the day. Both of them are extremely talented at their craft and I can't say enough that I would definitely be coming back to get more cuts from these guys!

Jai has been fantastic to get haircuts from. He is super attentive, and is always willing to give suggestions based on the general idea that you give. Will frequently ask if a certain detail is to your liking, and will adjust if needed. I've never had a cut that felt rushed - he ensures that he takes his time to craft the style you want. Gives top-notch fades and his scissor work is very precise.

My daughter had braids with Kaye, and she did amazing. She handled my daughter with so much patience and adjusts very well even though my daughter moves a lot. She is so nice and very entertaining too, very professional with what she was doing. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for a braid up, book with @kayluvstyles she takes her time and is consistent! I’ve gotten a few different styles now…and they’ve all came out cleannn and comfortable! Thanks to Kay and her assistant this is my go to spot!

Shout out to Melrose who hooked me up with this mid fade comb over cut. The booking system was simple and straight forward. I definitely recommend coming here for your perfect fade.

Had a fantastic experience with Paul earlier today. Excellent barber who really focuses on the customer when they are in his chair. I got a high bald fade and line up with a steamed charcoal face mask plus hair wash. Paul and the rest of Salon Kreative foster an amazing atmosphere and I will definitely be back!

Christian is my boyfriend’s favourite barber at this salon! He is very professional, always punctual and a great communicator with what the client wants done. The salon was also clean and had such a modern vibe. My boyfriend doesn’t live in the area but he refuses to go to any other barber but Christian! Highly recommend.

Been getting my haircut and beard trimmed by Muaaz over the last couple of months and I am super happy. He's extremely talented with great attention to detail and he sincerely cares and treats me accordingly. I leave his chair looking and feeling great. Cannot recommended him enough!

A clean, cool, good vibin’ place to get a cut in the 6, East. Christian is a solid barber. He’s cut my hair four times now and it’s always turned out well and fresh looking. He’s cool, takes good care, and professionally gets the job done. If you have time, need a solid cut, and want good and honest service, I fully recommend Christian.

I just had my third visit to this barber shop and I cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. The staff are very friendly, the environment is clean/professional and I would say easily the best cuts I've gotten in years. With a lot of parking in front there is nothing missing to make this anyone's go-to barber.

I came here for my first haircut since the pandemic and Zenas really did an amazing job. I didn’t know what to expect coming here for the first time but Zenas did not disappoint he is very versatile with all kinds of hair styles and hair types. Over this past year, I had the blessing to meet with a barber here named Jai, who I now consider a personal friend to me. Jai listened to exactly how I wanted the side of my hair faded and the top of my hair trimmed to meet my exact expectations. Throughout my years of having a few barbers, it is rare to find barbers like him. Reason being, he asks me in the moment at times certain questions and if I like what he is doing to fully maximize my satisfaction. Moreover, he engages in a welcoming conversation to keep the time interesting. I 10/10 recommend him if your interest of hairstyles is adapted to the modern beauty trends.

Been to Kreative East a couple times now and all i can say is wow! Been going to Marwan (@breezy_fadez), and everything from the beard to the fade is extremely clean. On top of that the service is amazing with additional offerings of complimentary warm towel, hair wash etc. Would recommend this shop to anyone in a heartbeat!

This is my go-to barbershop and just got an amazing cut for the first time by Jai G. Very friendly, professional, and pays very close attention to detail. You could definitely tell that 110% is always guaranteed from Jai. Also very punctual and delivers exactly how you want the cut- absolutely clean and fresh. Definitely recommend!

This is my go to barber shop. I recently got an amazing cut by Melrose. I dropped in without an appointment and they still let me in. Their staff is very friendly, polite and well educated on all hair types and they never rush you.
