The girl that checked us in on Dec 30 was amazing and was very pleasant. She answered all of our questions and helped us as much as she can - More Amenities in the room, early check-in and late check-out. - NA

What stands out at Sandman Hotel Oakville is the value for a variety of well appointed rooms and the care and attention provided by the front desk. They offered an upgraded room. The facility, rooms and decor are well-maintained. A free continental breakfast would be appreciated, however Denny's is located beside the property, as is Chop Steakhouse for lunch and dinner.

Have stayed here several times. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Bugs were crawling and flying. Tv wasn’t working, bedsheets we’re dirty and washroom shower had that yellow grime right in between the tiles. I could have went to motel 6 down the road and saved myself like 200$

The stay was wonderful rooms are clean and its so nice having the kitchen, only one thing is the thermostat is in the living room so when you close the bedroom door the a/c runs all the time so you freeze at night. Will defiantly be back

It is a beautiful hotel. Staff is amazing. The only thing that was disturbing was that there were a bunch of girls shouting and playing loud music but the front desk staff dealt with them very professionally. Thanks to the manager on shift in the morning she understood our pain and she even gave us the night complimentary. I hope she charges the girls some fine as they were not understanding someone else situation not everyone that comes to hotel is there to party. We are not against parties but don’t party at the cost of disturbing other people. Thank you team Sandman. I will always come back and stay with you. Cheers.

The check in and the stay were flawless. Absolutely loved the front office staff, Pranav and Hafsa. They were both very warm and welcoming. Would 100% recommend my friends to stay here. The service is very professional and cordial. Thank you guys for making my stay memorable.

Came here 3 times and on the third visit the staff were extremely rude and did not give the proper information beforehand and started making up new rules on the spot. Extremely disappointed on my last stay the customer service here is disgusting.

Additi was such a lovely guest service manager. Not only was a he was able to accommodate us and meet our needs but did so with grace, warmth and kindness.

A little Rocky. I couldn't get in the room.and it took me four times.to finally get the guy at front counter to come and get me in the room. Other then being locked put of room and answering twice that their was No One in the room.like why would. I not just get my Daughter to Open the door. The do not desturb card

This hotel has nice interior but the customer service is rude and unprofessional. They also had charged our room an additional $250 because there was “noise complaint” that no one informed us about till it was charged and we had left. We called multiple times back to resolve this issue and they did not answer, including hanging up on me during conversation. They charged us for the $250 and said that the charge was for the peoples room who complained and never wanted to pay. The total for the one room was over $500 which was never authorized on the receipt. This was ridiculous and still needs to get fixed. Don’t come to this hotel if u are celebrating a birthday and want to be over charged because if false information. Over all the experience here again was horrible and feels very racially motivated!

Went to Sandman Hotel for a business meeting and I never heard of this hotel chain before, but let me tell you.it was extremely elegant and clean! As you can see from my photos attached, everything was really impressive. There was a horse statue and even a sheep lamp there inside the premises. The pool room was nice. I don't know if it was heated or not (sorry) but it looked nice. The banquet room we were in was just by the pool and it was a decent size. I wish I got a photo of the food that they served. OMG.it was GOOD! They served Greek and it was extremely tasty. When I need to look for a hotel to stay at, I will definitely look up Sandman now.

I have literally been here for 1.5 hours and my list of complaints is getting bigger and bigger. As someone who travels frequently with kids, do not come here. I would not recommend no matter how convenient it is that there is a restaurant attached. I arrived to wait quite a while to check in, then I check in to a room that has a hardcore smell of pool water or chlorine. I was told that a crib or play pen may not be available at literally the last minute and seeing how it was already bed time for my kids, this was really terrible to hear as I mentioned in my booking months ago that I would need one. It took over 30 mins of hounding the front desk for one, after Saying to them that I don’t think they realize how a 10 month old cannot sleep in a regular bed, it’s unsafe and he could seriously injure himself and/or suffocate.then when the man finally brought up the bed after several attempts of asking for it, I had to set it up myself which was more difficult than I thought with young children just barely staying in one place. Knowing my reservation, and the hotel was well aware that I am coming to stay at the hotel, they could of at least set up the playpen for me in advance to make my stay easier. Also I would invest in cribs they are way easier to set up and sturdier. As I lay here on this terrible mattress and soft pillows which is another point I would to make, please invest in decent mattresses, offer soft and firm pillow options, and maybe some sound proofing. I can hear everything from the highways to people in the hallways even with my sound machine on! Another thing that was super inconvenient was that the vending machine wasn’t full, had no water in my floor, had to cart two kids downstairs just to get water, there is also no signage of where the vending machines would be, I had to wait around 10 mins just to ask! I am so utterly disappointed in my stay here, I had heard so many good things about the Sandman Hotels, but I will seriously never stay here again.
