Sandro's Family Restaurant

Pizza was delicious, I ordered the deluxe large pizza. Price of it was 21$. I enjoyed it that night and leftovers for breakfast. The dough was light, tasty and toppings were plenty. Pleasant staff. I'd recommend over corporate pizza places, anytime.

It was our first time going to Sandros for breakfast. The beginning of our experience was decent. After being seated, we waited about 5 minutes to receive the menu. After getting our meal, our waitress never came back to our table. We were never asked if we wanted more coffee or how our food was. The food was pretty good but the service was absolutely terrible. After finishing our meals, we waited over 15 minutes for the bill. Our waitress passed our table but didn't come to check up on us or give us the bill. I had to walk up to the counter twice to a different waitress to ask for our bill. At first, she told me to return to my table and our waitress would come back. She never came. I went up again and she prompted us to go to the front counter instead. For the price and service we experienced, I would not recommend or return.

Me and my mom had our Thanksgiving dinner here. The turkey was delishious, as well as the potatoes and gravey and the stuffing was quite tasty as well and nice and hot. There was also ham, which I didn't care for. I thought it was cut too thin and cooled off too quickly. We also had apple pie which we didn't care for. The apples weren't cooked as well as they could have been and the crust was too think and too crunchy. As for the service it was great. Our waitress was very attentive and hospitable as well. Overall, our dinner experience was very enjoyable. Thank you

We had dinner and breakfast there since we were staying at a nearby hotel. For Dinner I had veal parmigiana. It wasn't too bad tasting. In the morning I had two eggs and bacon. I didn't like the home fried potatoes that much. The rest was okay.

We were travelling through the Soo and decided to try Sandro's. We made our decision based on previous reviews and the ease to get there. Our server (Ron) was very personable, polite and a very good representative of the restaurant. We enjoyed our meals, had pleasant conversation with him and had enough left of my wife's meal to take with us. I had the Liver & Onions and I can say that it was the best I've enjoyed in many years. We will keep Sandro's on our radar for future trips through the Soo.

Very attentive There was a bit of a wait but we reassured that would be taking care of. Prices were very reasonable considering pasta was homemade. The food was delicious

Possibly one of the best deep fried Panzerottis I have ever consumed.its a crying shame I live so far from this restaurant.

We chose this restaurant because of positive reviews of the service and food. The service was excellent, the food was not. We had spaghetti with meatballs (would rate it average at best) and fish and chips (poor quality frozen triangle-shaped fish). We found it very expensive for the food quality. We should have ordered the food that was positively reviewed!

Don't bother with the buffet. Not much there and not very Italian either. Chicken was dry but the perogies were good but aren't they Polish food?

Whoever just made our pizza deserves a raise!

Best restaurant of this town, especially their own delivery service is awesome, highly recommend for their delivery service

Kids Friendly clean restaurant, welcoming staff, tasty, fresh food and large portions is what you will find at this restaurant. We ordered Spaghetti, Shrimp Florentine, Risotto Jumbo shrimp, chicken parmigiana and Smothered Chicken.

We just had a delicious breakfast with grilled fried potatoes and onions, the coffee was better than tims and we got refills. “Ladies”the washroom was clean lol. As we we’re paying saw pie for dessert, they have a lady that makes them, sorry too early to have one. And my husband liked the antipasto mix in Spanish omelet and they let us buy some. Please try this place.

Patron volume was a max capacity and well managed by staff.
Prices reasonable.
Recommended.

The beer was cold too.

Good spot for a good meal on the Trans Canada in Ste Marie. Server was friendly and service was quick. Would eat there again.

My husband and 2 children were there Saturday July 22 for breakfast buffet around 1030am. The food was awful. Eggs were dried out and cold. Bacon was very bland and tasteless. Waffles and French toast were rock hard. Spent over $90 for a breakfast that was not worth a quarter of that. Definitely not going back

A must go when I’m in the Soo. Top quality Italian & Canadian food, so much better than the chains!

My husband and I had Sandro's food for our wedding. We specifically ordered 200 pieces of chicken, 10 pans of pasta with meatballs included, (my husband was told that multiple times that meatballs were included that is why we ordered 2 with no meat for our meat free or pork free guests) 2 no meat no dairy 10 pans roasted veggies 10 roasted potatoes. I was told at the restaurant that the pasta comes with the meatballs as well because I have some pork-free guests but I was told that the meatballs are a combination of veal, beef and pork and we wanted to see if the pork could be omitted but they said they couldn't do that. Obviously, if we're both talking about taking pork out of meatballs that was previously spoken about that comes with the penne, obviously if we're asking if the meatballs are gluten free and obviously if we're asking that 2 pans are meat and dairy free (because the meatballs have dairy) they said they came with it. We tried to resolve it but but we're told by the staff that they weren't included on the bill because they didn't write penne with meatballs (even though they specifically told us multiple times that they came with it) there's no way to prove it. Very unsatisfied and would not recommend.

My daughter and I went to dinner there last night, and I couldn’t believe how busy it was There I hardly never go out for dinners. But as soon as we walked in, they approached us and were very courteous. They got us a table right away which was surprising we had no wait. The waitress came to the table right away and got our drink order, then came back right away which was amazing as she was very busy. I ordered the chicken Parmesan, with fettuccine Alfredo with a side Caesar, and my daughter had chicken Parmesan with spaghetti with a side Caesar. We had our meals within 15 minutes, a very hot. This was the best chicken Parmesan I have had at a restaurant ever! Very tender, and delicious flavour, the fettuccine was cooked perfectly. The Caesar salad was so delicious also. My daughter loved her dinner also. I will definitely be back for this, and can’t say enough about the staff. Very professional and accommodating.

Food was good as was the service. The buffet was alright but needed a bit of help. There was only Jell-O for dessert so that made me feel a bit old.

I only eat here once a year and that's for the Mother's Day Brunch Buffet.

Food is hot and plentiful, your standard breakfast fare. It's replenished quick and you never have to wait because they're out of an item.

See you again this time next year.
