Sandtrap Pub & Grill

Came together tonight with a group of seven… was very cold sitting close to the door. Mostly our food was okay.our pizza was really great, but our wings were totally inedible. Tiny and highly overcooked. When we told the waitress, she took them away yet didn’t take them off the bill. When I asked about it she just said that the owner said no… he couldn’t even bother getting involved… totally unacceptable.

We like the Sandtrap. Niagara-on-the-Lake has lots of tourist traps. This is where the locals go for good value and good quality.

A real fun place to visit in if your in Niagara on the lake a bit away from the main street but definitely worth a visit. Great bar food at a reasonable price. They also don't overcharge on the liquor. Servers are also very nice.

First of all, AMAZING SERVICE! The waitresses at this restaurant always have a smile on their face and ready to serve. Food is good and competitively priced for a tourist area. My fiancé and I come here almost everytime we visit Niagara. A must visit restaurant.

Our first stop on our little Niagara on the lake trip and this place was cool - I'm a lover of golf and they legit have stuff actually relevant to the sport - unlike some basic sport bars. The service was very friendly and fast & the food was really good. Will go again!

My daughter & I came in for dinner around 8: 50pm. The food didn't arrive at our table until almost 9: 40pm -9: 45pm. With 6 other tables being occupied, it wasn't busy or crowded. The service by server Violet was mediocre at best. Needless to say, it was a disappointing experience on this occasion.

My vet is right across the street so I thought I’d stop in and give them a try. I’m glad I did. Food was excellent but I must say the two servers working (Meaghan & I’m sorry I didn’t catch the others name) we’re getting absolutely slammed in a lunch rush and killed it the entire time. Will be back to see their friendly faces again

My husband and I used to go here for years before the pandemic. We used to make the drive out for their pizza and wings.

We decided to visit them again. Firstly, this place is not very wheelchair friendly. There is a huge lip on the door that is dangerous for a wheelchair to go over also, the sidewalk around the entrance is incredibly narrow and almost impossible for a wheelchair to turn around.

We went around 4: 45 and figured it wouldn’t be too busy and get our email quickly. It wasn’t that busy when we arrived.

We were seated and quickly greeted by a friendly waitress and asked what we would like to drink. Another brought us our drinks, and another took our order.

We ordered bang bang shrimp as an appetizer, pizza and some wings.

It took about 20 minutes for our appetizer. The shrimp were just over fried shrimp with a chili sauce to dip.

We waited for almost 40 minutes for our pizza and wings. During that time only once did another waitress come and brought my husband another beer but left the empty class?

When we finally got our pizza, it was horrible. I could barely eat one piece. My husband only ate two slices…only because he was starving. The dough tasted as if it was cooked from frozen and not well, either. It was that soggy type with no crunch to it at all. The cheese on-top was cooked too long and hard. Not what we remembered at all. The wings were good and we ate those.

Not one waitress came over and asked how our meal was. We felt forgotten.
After awhile, one finally came and said she would get a box for the pizza. Not even acknowledging that 3/4 of the pizza was uneaten. We just paid and got out of there. No staff helped us out or anything. Dining patrons offered to help us out.

We were very disappointed with our visit. Soured our entire evening, as we don’t get much time to go out as a couple. We won’t be back, sorry to say.

Good beer selection. Club sandwich comes with real turkey. Got a reuben sandwich with extra 'kraut and they loaded it on. Kid meal options too. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices.

I sat at the bar and had fantastic service. The beer selection was much larger than expected I found an IPA that was excellent and reminded me of the north western IPA's that I love. The food was great pub food and I met some great people at the bar. I hope to be back later this week before I return to BC.

Excellent service. Very well taken care of by all staff. Great pub atmosphere and nice selection of meals. Fish and chips, pizza and wings, salads, appetizers such as onion rings deep fried pickes, mozzarella sticks and more, wraps, burgers, meatloaf salmon and much more. Food looks and tastes delicious. Great selection of beer and wine too. Eat indoors or on the patio. They also do take out.

First time visiting and enjoyed every moment of it! ️ Staff was very kind and welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious! Would definitely come back!

Great patio. NOTL local hangout, it shows great local support. Year round. Pretty good and comfortable food choices.

A great, casual place to eat. Pub and sports atmosphere and decor. Food and service were both excellent and such reasonable prices! Try the pizzas. Awesome.

I was willing to try it out, but it felt out of place for new comers like me as I asked for a table but no guidance to whether ill be assigned a table and too crowded for small establishment. Most of the open tables that atleast had some seperation between other tables were not clean. So, I left, no point in standing around without a table available to eat.

Excellent food and service at a reasonable price. If that's what you are looking for you should try Sandtrap Pub & Grill out!

Sandtrap is a local favorite to eat or drop in for a drink. Great food selection. My favorite is their panzerotti.so good. Friendly staff and great atmosphere to unwind and enjoy a meal.
