Decent but certainly not worth waiting in line in the cold, there are other ramen places around which are just as good which aren't as busy.

Étonnement, mon enfant de 3 ans a bien été accueilli et il a bien aimé s'exercer avec les baguettes. Les portions sont grosses et c'est succulent. Le service est rapide.

Small restaurant usually with a 15-20 minute wait. Tomato ramen was delicious. It comes with a scallop, which I tried but will substitute for more pork next time. Sapporo was refreshing. Quite filling and worth the wait and cost, which is reasonable. Started eating before taking the picture

Don't understand the hype behind this place. I have been waiting 2 hours for a delivery of my food and if you go to the restaurant itself be prepared to wait an hour outside in the cold. Is it really that worth it? No. Plenty of other good restaurants that don't intentionally limit capacity to build hype.

Excellent Ramen house. There was not that much of a lineup to get a table as I've read in the comments. Fast and delicious food. One of the best ramen they've eaten in the past few years. Nice job.

Nice and comfy place to eat. I got the black tonkotsu with thin noodles and I liked it overall

Best ramen in Ottawa. Broth is rich and savoury, chashu is melt in your mouth tender, noodles are perfectly al dente, eggs are perfectly soft boiled. Dumplings and fried chicken are excellent too.

The broth is to die for. Rich, creamy and umami. Very authentic ramen that will hit different on a cold Ottawa winter day.

Good food but not good customer service, they don’t keep track of who arrived fist while waiting outside.it’s a while free for all, ate there for the past 4-5 years and the service is now terrible

Nous avons découvert Sansotei Ramen par hasard en marchant dans la rue. Il y avait un peu d'attente (15 minutes environs) mais cela en valait le coup!

Le tonkotsu black ramen est excellent

Wow! Okay this was an accidental find. And ZERO regrets! Great service! Food was over abundant so go hungry! We had a bowl of boneless chicken chunks in an amazingly not too spicy sauce, rice, dumpling and I opted for teriyaki dipping sauce. The Teriyaki sauce was not runny, it was thickened and perfect. This is great for fast meal (I don't think 5 minutes passed from order time to table time), meal with friends, children with parents. Bathrooms are way down stairs, biy narrow and steep. But otherwise nice bright gem in downtown Ottawa on Bank Street.

Overall a relaxing and pleasant dinner experience, even though the restaurant is busy. Decoration was good, the staff was kind and made a good suggestion for drinks, and ramen was overall nice.

The ramen dish had garlic oil which was a bit bitter, but I'll give it a second try within a few weeks to see if that's how the recipe is, or if it was an accident (which can happen, of course). Also, that ramen worked on my stomach for hours, which is not a usual thing to happen to me, but again, I'll give it another try in the future.

The service is great. Ramen is also good. Not much space inside but they will accomodate you asap.

Good ramen but there are better places with more complex broths and more variety of toppings in Ottawa. Gyoza sauce had no flavour.

Les serveuses et serveurs sont vraiment attentifs et dévoués.je leur aurait donné 6 étoiles sur 5! Les soupes sont délicieuses et les portions, très copieuses. Une soupe vous fera deux repas, si vous prenez l'option de repartir avec un contenant pour les restes!

If you’re looking for an intimate, authentic Ramen experience, this is the place to be.

The overall atmosphere was reminiscent of an actual Japanese ramen shop, with the waitresses greeting you and thanking you in Japanese.

The food is also incredible, it tasted amazing and the portions were massive and very well priced.

Overall I recommend this to anyone looking for a great, authentic and well priced Japanese ramen

Since this seems to be a popular spot, try going before or after lunch time to avoid the lineup.
Right off the bat, clean restaurant, quick to be seated and friendly staff.
Ordered a few different ramen options off the menu, the favorite being the Tonkotsu black. They were served hot and quick and you have the option to pick thick or thin noodles. Tried most of the appetizers as well. They were alright. The seaweed salad was nice but the wings could have been crispier. Loved the sparkling sake they had on the drink menu!
Also got the two cheesecake options; mango and yuzu flavour. They weren't the best so would definitely skip it the next time.

It's a good ramen. However, we had to stand in line for almost 30 minutes to get in and after ordering we waited another 20 minutes. If they go and don't have to wait, it's highly recommended, if there's a line, I don't know if I would wait again.

Once in Ottawa. You should go to this place to eat ramen. Not the best one in the world, but sure the best in Ottawa

I would leave zero stars if I could tbh. Very overpriced for what it is. You shouldn’t call yourself “inspired by Japanese ramen” with a Chinese owner and staff. Very bad atmosphere too inside of the place. Very very rude staff who speak down to customers. Will never return.
