Great experience for who wants have Christmas vibe, but it was soo cold take your all warm clothes
23 December 2023 18:16
Having grown up in the area, it was wonderful to tour the Village again after many years. After hearing many positive things in the community, we were excited to see the many improvements. We visited in December and it was absolutely beautiful wondering around the property. The atmosphere was was festive, the grounds were well maintainted and the staff were very welcoming. The Christmas lights were incredible and we really enjoyed the carolers wandering around. I would highly recommend visiting, it was a winter wonderland!
16 December 2023 3:57
A cute little place to feel the Christmas spirit. We went there over the weekend. There was some rush. Kids were happy to meet Santa and enjoyed some rides. Not very many things to do for the price though.
14 December 2023 14:35
Not as good as advertised, read about it it's overhyped. Not worth driving all the way from Toronto
22 October 2023 21:08
Great little park for younger kids, my 7 and 3 year old had fun. My youngest was under 36" and was still able to ride most rides (except the roller coaster) and he also free to enter.
22 October 2023 12:19
It's a fun place with a variety of rides suitable for all ages. It’s quite cold in winter, so be sure to keep warm. It’s best to bring your own food for meals. The food there is not tasty and expensive.
20 October 2023 20:27
Great spot for young children, the rides were fun and fitting to the little ones. Lines were short which was another big bonus. I love how it’s built in the forest, so lots of shade and beauty. It’s also on the River:) another beauty point.
Years back it was going down hill, lots of the rides were broken, but someone has put a lot of money into it, and even added some great new features and rides, super fun! Was pretty expensive to get in, 110$ for my little one and myself, but a seasons pass was pretty reasonable.
19 October 2023 9:42
One of the best theme parks for kids and includes activities for adults to enjoy with their children. Season pass is definitely worth buying if you're going more than once a year.
02 September 2023 7:59
You know, for ages 3-9 its the perfect park, as the rides are new, updated, and at a kids size and excitement level.
24 August 2023 13:43
UPDATE from "Owner's Reply":
Just so reader's know. There was no "inclement weather" as they tried to say.it rained a bit in the morning, that's it. Also, when we bought tickets, the lady at the register said they were waiting on parts for "rides" and that's why they're shut down (only the go-kart was affected by the "inclement weather" aka slight rain) ; we saw NO ONE working on the rides, in fact, we saw workers just standing around goofing off.
They had ONE food location (out of about 5 or 6 I saw) open so food options WERE limited as they are NOT the same across the park. Anyways, I stand by my review and will not visit this park ever again. It's clear the park is hurting. Visit at your own risk.

Will not be bringing my family back here nor ever recommend. We came on July 13 and half the park is closed down due to "earlier rain" or "because they're waiting for parts for the rides". You'll still be expected to pay FULL PRICE even when 40% of the park is shut down or closed. Hardly any food stations either! Not to mention the price gouging on everything. Thought this would be a fun place to visit with my 3 young kids.

Note to Park: if you're going to shut down many places of your park, DISCOUNT YOUR TICKETS! How ridiculous!
24 August 2023 9:24
We go here every year since my daughter was born (10) and every year half the park is closed. They bought the go karts and ropes course so this is now included in your ticket price but low and behold the ropes course was not open and of course the one thing my now 10 year old daughter was the most excited about. The carousel was open and the elf school was cute but the penguin coaster was closed and the batting cages experienced some damage over the winter that has not been dealt with so it was also closed. The mini golf course was filled with water and one young girl was trying her hardest to remove the water but she really could of used some help. It would be great if this information was on their website so that we can choose pay $50/pp or not. This is not Wonderland and it is over priced for a few kiddy rides, I realize this would lower sales by doing this but driving 2 hrs to find this out is distasteful. Not only were most of the 'big kid' rides/activities closed but so were the ice cream hut and snack shack/restaurant by the water and we were really looking for an alcoholic beverage after all of this disappointment lol. I will say that the energy and kindness of the "elves" (employees) and Santa was great and that is why I gave 2 stars instead of one.
05 August 2023 11:39
Worth every penny. Had a first timer, he enjoyed every minute. Food prices are a little high, but to be expected.
20 January 2022 3:38
Wow, wow, wow! I drove my family (including a 2- and 4-yr old) up here from Kingston, not knowing what to expect. The last time I visited Santa's village was 30 years ago. I can tell you, the magic has not faded one bit. The staff were so friendly with the kids, the rids (even the few that were in operation at the time we were there) were so much fun for them as 'intro rides', and the millions of lights that were integrated throughout the pine forest were absolutely stunning. My only (small) issue was the lack of food for the kids (only 1 food location for the thousands of people in the park, and at the time that we were there, only a few items available). Other than that, the whole experience was wonderful. We will be back again in the summer!
12 January 2022 21:15
Staff so rude.
The place nice. Good parking
You expect lot more surprises.
But is cool.
Gocarts is a must!
11 January 2022 5:08
Loved this place when I was a kid, now that I have a son, we took him yesterday for santafest and he absolutely loved it! We will definitely be back in 2022!
30 December 2021 12:14
Great Theme Park for the young to the 'Believers'. The colours & lights truly make Santa's Village festive in the winter. The food & rides, & their availability change for the seasons. Fully operational during the summer months to a select few, winding down through Autumn to Santa's time of year. A Season's Pass is worth the money if you plan to make the trip more than twice. The 'Village' is appropriately sized for families with young children.
28 December 2021 18:15
Great day at Santa's Village on Saturday. Was fun to ride the rides in winter and see the village at a different time of year. We missed the Reindeer, but understand that they were busy getting ready for Christmas.
16 November 2021 8:05
Great place. Maybe work on the attendents being bit more energetic. But its covid. I get people ars tired of it
29 October 2021 16:13
Great place went three time this month as my daughter loves it also has the best Santa ever. Terrible Tom is the best
24 October 2021 23:03
Its ok for young kids but has very basic rides for older kids over 8. Tree trekking is only different that some one may like. For GTA guys its worth going to wonderland than this.
22 October 2021 20:20
Our group attended Santa's village on September 11th.

Please keep in mind that we have attended this park numerous times in the past (pre-covid), during peak season and in September as well. We have always had such a great time here!

I was a little hesitant attending but I was assured by management at Santa's village as well as numerous friends that have attended this year, that everything was safe and they had a really good time.

Upon our arrival at 10am, there was already soap dispensers empty in the ladies bathroom.

At our first ride, the hand sanitizer was empty.yet no one seemed to be using any prior to boarding the ride.

The bars and seats on the ride were not wiped down between all passengers, which made me feel like things were unsafe for my family. But good luck trying to get two 5 year olds who had their hearts set on going to leave the grounds.

No one was social distancing in the lines and mask wearing was not enforced by any employees even when it is required in lines and on rides.

The lineups were extremely long, which I found odd as I had been to the park 6 times before.

We managed to do 2 rides and the aerial park at Santa's village by 2pm. That's it!

At this point, the kids are hangry, so we make our way to go eat at the restaurant by Jolly Jumper only to find it was closed.

Everyone was crammed at Kringle's Kitchen. We waited over 30 minutes in line. When we finally got to the window, we were told that they were not taking any more orders for a bit as the kitchen needs to catch up. There was only 1 cook in the kitchen and that they were only expecting 300 guests but let in 2100 people. We proceeded to wait an additional 15 minutes and no one took our order yet. This is at the point where we found out that the park is closing at 4pm and not 6pm. When we booked our tickets, the time listed was 10-6 for our park window. No email was received to let us know that the times have changed. Also in this lineup is where we found out some people we were waiting 30-40 minutes to receive their food after having ordered it. If we were to wait, the park would be closed before we would even receive our food.

Let me tell you.beavertails are not a good lunch for 2 kids. Yes we had healthy snacks with us but they had already gone through all of them and were crying that their tummies were hungry.

After the beavertails, we made our way to the go kart section as it would be the last thing we could manage to get in before the park closes. As we approach, we are told that the line closed at 3pm and we missed the window.

The Santa's Village website states that it takes 4 hours to do the whole park. We were there 6 hours and didn't even get to see half of the park.

Our kids were eager and optimistic of all of the rides they wanted to do, as they have always done in the past. Usually we can at least do most of the rides in the park 3 times.

Oh and we tried to talk to management and they don't care.

I miss the old owners of the park. Everything seems to run more smoothly.

Santa's village, I highly recommend that you limit the amount of guests on your grounds for the capacity that your workers can handle.

Again, your grounds have been extremely fun in the past, but I don't think we will be spending another dime. You could have gotten at least another 5 years of business from us.

Shame on you Santa's Village for caring more about the dollar than the safety and pleasure of your guests.
20 October 2021 13:51
We really enjoyed our first visit today. Lots of rides for kids of all ages. Very recommended for anyone looking for a fun amusement park for their kids.
19 October 2021 19:52
It was absolutely wonderful with my 2 almost 3 year old and husband. Already planning trip for next year, only think if you can in the week days are less busy in the park. Absolutely wonderful - the staff are all friendly too
19 October 2021 4:45
Great for what it is, a small theme park for young kids. They loved all the rides and enjoyed their visit with Santa. We'll make this a yearly thing while the kids are age appropriate but I don't think you could do much more than that.
17 October 2021 23:19
We had a great time all around. The only dislike I have is that closing at 6pm is too soon. We missed out on a bunch of stuff and had arrived at opening. The price you pay to get in is a bit high because these hours you would need two days to go to the park. But again the time we had was great. The kids loved it and so did us parents. Will visit again.
17 October 2021 20:49
Impressed with the cleanliness and care that has been given to the property. Our kids had a great time and they have made great adjustments for Covid with plenty of sanitization stations. Small lines and plenty to do. Great experience overall.
13 October 2021 4:04
Kids crazy love it, One time not enough, one day not enough, we want come back again and again. Amazing experience
09 October 2021 19:22
It's definitely a fun place for kids and even adults for that matter, haven't been in over 30yrs, and alot has changed. But still have the classic rides as well
07 October 2021 6:13
Lots of shaded paths. Engaging 'elfs' and we loved Santa!
Lines were not too long and the splash park cooled us down.
30 September 2021 5:05
Lots of fun for the 12 and under set. My only issue was the new bumper boats. The ride was not worth the length of the wait IMHO.
We didn't have time to get to elf Island or do the zip lines.
I thought the splash pad would have been better across the street at the campground. Personally I wouldn't spend $50 a person to hang out at a splash pad that I could do for free at home.
The staff I encountered was amazing.
I'm quite sure we'll be back!
28 September 2021 5:55
It's been over 25 yrs since we took our children there, and today we took our 6 yr old grandson there. It was so much fun. We went on every ride and the roller coasters twice. The staff is so nice and friendly and Santa is the best. We had a blast. Glad this place is still there to enjoy
22 September 2021 19:47
We had a blast! My kids at 4 and 1 and they had the time of their life! There as a quiet a few mosquitos so bring bug spray! Every part of this park was just amazing! Literally every part!
22 September 2021 13:52
My husband and I both went when we were kids and we wanted to do the same for ours. It's such a magical place to be. You won't be disappointed. And because of covid 19, they are taking safety precautions seriously. People need to sanitize their hands before and after they go on a ride. I also noticed that they will clean the seats before you go on any ride.
22 September 2021 4:20
Great atmosphere for the whole family! Kids love all the rides and activities. Definitely worth to visit.
18 September 2021 1:50
Cute place kids had fun.nice close to the town, kids loved it. 8 and under or so is probably the sweet spot for those that will have the most fun, and their parents of course.perfect size for a family park, and even on a busy summer day no crazy long waits for rides, max 20-30 mins on just a few, rest fly by.lots to do only saw about 1/2 to 2/3 of the park in a full day.boat ride was lots of fun, and sants elf shop was fun for the kids.its a truly unique experience, and the attention to detail at the park, and quality of architecture and building materials is noticable.they truly take pride in what they do.only 2 changes i would suggest: add water fountains or reduce the price of bottled water. We didn't bring enough and it became expensive on a hot day keeping everyone hydrated. Also, if you can dont come right at open or you will be waiting in line. Buy your tickets before hand and aim for about 30-45 mins after opening to have a seamless entry.would recommend
17 September 2021 17:52
A tiny bit expensive, but lines were OK depending on what time you go. The student staff are helpful and for the most part seem engaged. Thankful to have their enthusiasm to keep the children entertained. Rides are fun and are age appropriate for our 4.5 y.o. Twin boys.
15 September 2021 14:44
This was a fantastic day trip and very well deserved for our grandchildren and the adults of course. Very well kept and nice staff. We totally enjoyed it.
15 September 2021 13:52
Amazing place for a day trip to everyone likes to visit this place with kids. Very well organized and helpful people. I recommend visiting Santa's Village and enjoy a lots of activities inside like: roller coasters, go-karting, etc.
14 September 2021 21:57
Good amount of shade and spaced out nicely from others rides were clean and not busy at all. The renovations are really nice and the new Christmas tree. I was disappointed that data wasn't insight or even an elf the staff don't put the "Christmas jolly" theme on very well prices were ok for food and drink I would go again but *** I would hope the hours are extended because closing at 6 doesn't give you enough time to do everything*** especially if you end up late and there is no hope for even a Christmas light because it's not open when the sun goes down️
07 September 2021 20:25
Seemed like a lot of people but the lines moved quickly. Elf school was fun for the little and we got a keepsake hat. One of the coasters was shut down on our visit. It was very hot and sunny but there are a lot of places to find shade. Overall we enjoyed our trip.
04 September 2021 21:16
The bad:
ZERO healthy food options. I figured the main food area would have some salads, sides of veggies, fruit salad and so forth as this IS INDEED a place for young children.

There were no "snack areas". Once again being a KIDS park I figured they would have had some veggies and dip, granola bars, maybe some apples or oranges? Nope.
The lady at the main resturant wouldn't even put water in my 2 year old sons "Santa Sipper" it HAD to be pop. (I was fine with tap water at that point but nope. SODA!)

A bit pricey but arent all theme parks?

A handful of rides were not operational and this wasn't stated on the website. (Specifically the paddle pirate ships.)

Major lack of seating areas, my family had to stand to eat our lunch.

Very young employees whom seem to lack customer service skills & some really don't seem fond of the kids.

The Good:

Lots of Shade for those HOT days

The splash pad area is super unique and fun!

The decor is very festive!

Lots of things to do to get a full days worth of activity. Including the hiking trails!

Bakery foods we purchased were delicious but lacked options.

TONS to do with wee ones 2-3 years!

Lines went quick.
01 September 2021 6:29
Santa's Village was not what we expected. The rides and attractions themselves were OK but the park experience left a lot to be desired. Service at the food court was terribly slow and not due to crowding but to the lack of organization and experience (seemed like everyone was in training). Even at the attractions many attendants were quite young and had a tough time keeping things controlled or didn't even try. It wasn't a thoroughly bad experience but I expect more when paying that kind of entry fee.
29 August 2021 14:55
Santas villiage has a lot to offer kids in the 2-8 range. It is a very clean park, well maintained. My family had a lot of fun on our visit and look forward to going again.
25 August 2021 6:27
Better then expected, but the only restaurant is an unorganized chaotic waste of time. … nearly 2h wait for food… no exaggeration.
23 August 2021 22:49
They charge double of what it says online just to get in, plus $5 for water which all machines were down, plus the food was crazy expensive and tasted horrible. Some of the rides were down as well. Will not be going back
12 February 2019 9:31
Took our two daughters (8 yrs and 1.5 yrs) here today. The weather was beautiful. The staff were all so kind. Santa and Mrs Clause were amazing and so gentle and they really took the time to talk to our girls and make them feel special. The horse drawn wagon rides and carousel were great winter activities. The fire and marshmellow roasting was so fun and the winter games set out were all great! We will be returning in the summer to enjoy the rides and other attractions! I will be telling all of our friends and family about this amazing adventure. Thank you so much to everyone at Santa's Village for our experience today.
10 February 2019 23:28
Great and fun place to come with kids. Keep in mind that it might not be as suitable for older kids (teens). Lots to do and really fun and unique experience.
04 February 2019 23:10
Not really worth to spend time to go there. It is better to go to Lawrence Market Toronto if you want Christmad feeling and money you would spend at Santa's village for entrance will be enough for you at Liberty Market to buy some tasty Christmas food
22 January 2019 5:27
Took 9 of us to Santa village on the dec 23 2018. Admission was 12.95 fairly cheap. But there was nothing to do in it. Went in at 1pm came out at 1: 30. Total waste of money! Do not recommend!
13 January 2019 15:33
One of the best places ever!
My daughter loves santa all year round she was so amazing she with everything and Santa and miss clause were great, perfect consumes and so friendly. I grew up coming to Santa's village and to be able to take my daughter back was so amazing for me it didn't disappoint if anything I was amazing at how much fun we all had
01 November 2018 8:42
Granddaughter had a great time. She loved the rides, and Santa and Mrs. Claus were wonderful. She really enjoyed the scavenger hunt.

As an adult, I had a few issues. First, the website says that the park opens at 10: 00, but people were in the park and on the rides at 9: 45 when we pulled into the parking lot. Other people in the lot were discussing the same thing. Many people come from far and wide, and want to make a full day of it. We could have been there earlier.

Also, there are not enough places to eat real food (plenty of places to get treats). Line ups at lunch are insane and service was very slow. Spent the better part of an hour trying to feed one child lunch. Can't imagine trying to get food for a large family.

There seemed to be a chronic shortage of staff across the park. We did go at the end of summer, so maybe the part-time workers were bailing as they got ready to go back to school, but we could have enjoyed more attractions if it were not for the long wait times.

Definitely bring your wallet. There are a number of add-on expenses, and many only take cash.

Take the kids, but pack a lunch and some patience.
31 October 2018 6:17
Stayed in the cabins - would definitely recommend staying in one of the cabins closest to the road if you want any kind of privacy. If you're looking for more of a social experience the middle cabins across from the tents and tent trailers is where to be.

Went to Santa's village on the Saturday and it truly does feel like they understand its all for the kids. Rides were pretty much free or next to nothing, our 16mth old spent most of her time at the splash pad as it did seem she was a little young still for the entire experience.

Everyone was super friendly and very welcoming.

Definitely going back next year, already have the cabin picked out!
27 October 2018 23:09
This is a great family park that kids love. One thing I did not like is that when we wanted an ice cream cone they serve Nestle ice cream. We have 2 AMAZING Ontario companies that produce by far more superior ice cream - Chapmans and Kawartha Lakes. Santa's Village - if you can change this then I can give you a 5 star rating!
26 October 2018 5:42
My kids wanted to go back before they even left. Perfect for young kids and the sports centre is great for the big kids and kids at heart! Btw. I am the fastest I won ever race!
22 October 2018 18:34
Great place for a family to spend a day or get a season's pass. Lots of rides a little dated though however there is a new roller coaster. We love the splash pad there. And the games are cheap and you always win something. Food isn't to ridiculous and portions are good!
20 October 2018 3:45
Stopped by here on our way camping. Was such a good idea. This place was a blast for us and the kids. It's a bit pricey to go but it's definitely a full fun day. Has plenty of rides for everyone, good food selection (although some more staff during busy times would help. Took a while to get the food), splash pad and of course you get to meet Santa!
19 October 2018 16:28
We go every year, this year our trip happen to land on a rain day and the rides were shut down, every other park we go to they offer a complementary discount visit to come back.we asked if we left early cause we couldn't use the rides could we reuse our tickets or get a discount and we got told absolutely not we do not do refunds nor do we control the weather and we were told to enjoy the park for the day! We ended up leaving as the park was not something we wanted to play in while it was pouring down rain, I understand the weather can't be controlled by nor can I control it! But as a business I feel you lost sight of the service that brings people back again and again, cause as of this year this park is off our list of parks we visit through out the summer.
13 October 2018 22:46
This attraction is one of our yearly adventures with the kids. It is an excellent place that is just the right size for a three and five year old. The rides and games are fun for the kids and the elf hat from Santa is a nice bonus.

Without coupons expect to pay about $170 for a family of four; but once a year, it is not a deal breaker.

Don't compare the pricing to wonderland as the target audience is different and the wait times for rides are significantly less.
13 October 2018 7:17
Loved this even as a child now grown up and going up to this park with my children park is so clean smells of christmas the boat ride and capt Tom are such a bonus to the park the boat ride is fun and Tom makes it even more special with his pirates and bubbles Not a boring Ride at all he does Spins with the boat bubbles Plays music gets you active aboard his ship he is soo friendly and a pleasure to be around that being said the rest of the village is joy to stroll the beavers tails are delicious splash pads baby rattlers and best part Santa and Mrs Claus if i could rate it would be 5 plus plus Best place to visit Go carts and fishing and so much more
03 October 2018 21:01
It's a great place for families with small children. There are lots of kid friendly rides with very short lines. Line ups to visit with Santa can be a bit longer but a great thrill for the children; their wait is rewarded with a free elf hat from Santa. There is a sign that says that photos with Santa cost $5 but that's only if you want have the helper take and print a photo with their camera. Taking your own photos is obviously free. Also Santa occasionally makes the rounds within in the park in his "golf cart'; it's another chance for the little ones to have a quick visit with Santa.

There's a small splash pad and beach for the little ones to cool off. There's also a large cabin nearby that functions as a family change room. Visit Elf Island; it's a playground where kids can climb nets, slide, walk an obstacle course, and even pan for minerals.

Make sure you take a ride on "Santa's Summer Sleigh" for a fun boat excursion on the river with the entertaining pirate captain, Terrible Tom.

Food seems reasonably priced. Watch for admission ticket discounts and special days where characters from popular children's animated TV shows make an appearance.
27 September 2018 8:28
What a great place for a young family to visit. We stayed at the trailer park for 2 nights and visited the amusement park twice. Our boys are 8 and 5 and they had a blast! The park is just the right size to go through in a shorter day if you arrive at 10 and leave for 5. The rides are perfect as far as thrill for the age group. The only bummer is the price of drinks. But if that is the only complaint then hey, not bad. As for the trailer park it was surprisingly VERY clean. The washrooms and showers were great! The sites are close together with little privacy but that's ok. Kind of to be expected. Also there is no sewage hookup so just be aware of that.

We will be back for sure.
23 September 2018 17:13
You never know what will happen when new owners take over. We visited about 4 years ago for the first time with our first child. It was fun and easy to get on rides. Since the new owners took over they have made many improvements without taking the spirit and fun out of the experience. The prices are fair, not (ridiculous). About $50 each gets you all the rides for the day. I am glad they are adding new rides to help offset the entry fee. There are some additional costs that you pay once in the park. Zip line and face painting. I like the wide variety of activities with the fun Christmas feel.
It was certainly busier this time around so business is good. Lots of signage selling the place.
Mr and Mrs Claus were amazing! They are great! Even in the hot weather (WITHOUT AC) in their building!
GET THEM AC for the age and costumes. (that’s why not 5 stars)

Other Suggestions: once upon a time “whale” land allowed people to go pet and feed the deer. We found out this summer this isn’t allowed due to parents not watching the kids and hurting the animals. I think, this would be more fun for kids instead of the large caged reindeer.
- Snowball fight (get a snow maker). Would be fun in the hot weather
20 September 2018 6:12
We had an amazing day at Santa's Village. There were lots of great rides for the kids, the staff were friendly and the food was great. The place seems to get better every year we go. Can't wait to go back next year!
18 September 2018 12:17
Definately not wheelchair accessible, sure you can get into the park in a wheelchair but it's impossible to navigate and none of the rides can accommodate a wheelchair. That being said I still had fun, thank goodness I can walk some. The kids had a blast and it's a very clean park
11 September 2018 14:57
It was our first time and we love it!
Everything is built so nice and beautiful, the visit with Santa was a great experience, the rides, the animals, the show, everything was so great. We enjoyed our day so much! We definitely will come back.
11 September 2018 9:27
Very pricey. The Mrs. Claus Bakery was not homemade. Everything was pricey. I think for childten in this world there should be one place they could go to have fun and not put a huge expence on thier parents. Hey its Santa after all. We did all the rides and bells and whistles because we wanted our grand children to be excited and happy. We would never go back.
08 September 2018 23:37
Went last minute with 2 boys (4 & 6) on a long weekend. Busy but not overwhelming in the slightest. Didn't have to worry about the kids getting lost in the crowds. Got on most of the rides in 5 minutes or less. Lots of shaded areas. Everything looked pretty clean. Food was affordable. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.
A couple of grumbly staff who would say out loud to each other that "six o'clock couldn't come fast enough" (both the teenaged ones and the adults). Just maybe keep that for the break room. And families of 20+. Maybe split up into smaller groups instead of everyone going on the same rides all at once? !?
