This place is a hidden gem, the entire experience was top notch from the food to the service

Wow. Just had a lunch bento box here. Incredible yam tempura crunchy spicy roll. Sashimi. Miso soup and salad. Beef dumplings. And even some dessert - I believe it was deep fried banana and ice cream but almost tasted like crème brûlée? Such an amazing price and the perfect portion for lunch. This small quaint sushi place I can tell holds traditions and keeps things simple. Thank you so much for the experience!

We eat here everytime we are in town. The owners know us and our order and it's so nice to be there. Atmosphere and food are amazing

We stop by in Kingston to charge our car and decided to grab sushi. An assuming mom and pop shop with an all- japanese menu. Delicious! We loved the tempura appetizer and the spider roll (soft shell crab). I can’t wait to come back here.

First time here, service was fast, owners are very friendly and kind. We had the super king all you can eat since it offered sashimi. Bit pricey for a lunch. Will recommend to friends in the area.

The Queen special comes with soup, salad and 2 pieces of dumplings when dining-in. It doesn’t comes with those when ordering takeout but they charge $2 less.

Great cozy sushi place. Lovely customer service, always very friendly. The Queen on their menu offers alot for a reasonable price, can always rely on it to leave on a full stomach. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into making and presenting the food.

Any review that is not a 5 star is incorrect the food was amazing some of the best sushi I have ever had. Would definetly recommend the eel it was delicious. The service was amazing they check on u a lot and are very kind. We showed up at 7: 30 not realizing they closed at 8 and when we asked they said stay as long as we liked and stayed open for us. Overall the best dining experience I have ever had

The food is pretty good. But more than once I’ve over paid on debit, the lady put the price up twice once when gf paid and once with me. Pay cash and double check the amount.

Food was delicious with great options for meals and all you can eats. Service was steller. Small restaurant with only 3 tables so nice intimate place but could mean a line waiting for a table so be prepared but food is worth it

Amazing place, whenever I am in kingston I always make sure I come here before leaving. Definitely my favourite sushi place, very cheap considering the quality with great deals like the Queen or the King. It is ran by a a retired Korean sushi chef who runs it with his wife and a few other workers. It is also one of those hole in the wall places that not many know about but is better than many if not all other big sushi names in kingston. Amazing place, with amazing food! 100% recommend

I religiously order takeout from here. The food is phenomenal, prices are fantastic, very clean business and the owners and staff are the sweetest, most pleasant and friendliest people. You will never be disappointed here or not be in the best hands.

Whether you're a Kingston resident or just passing by, Sapporo Sushi is an absolute must try. I have been to many sushi restaurants in both Kingston and the GTA, and Sapporo remains my top favourite.

This is a mom and pop shop run by the sweetest couple. Sapporo Sushi boasts friendly service, very affordable prices, and delicious sushi. I came here regularly when I was a student, and continue to visit whenever I pass by Kingston. Over the course of 7 years, I have never been disappointed by the quality of their food and service.

If you have the opportunity to come by, don't hesitate! And ask them about the Queen combo – it's the best!

Good sushi and excellent service. The prices are great for what you get, especially the lunch specials. Lost one star because the gyoza weren't very hot when we got them and unfortunately they overcharged us for our meal. Cute spot though and we would come back and just double check our bill next time.

A-MAZE-ING! The wait was short considering the size of the diner. Why? Because the service is so incredibly fast it’s unbelievable! The presentation is breathtaking. The flavour, freshness and quality of the food here, is that of a 5 star restaurant. The best sushi I have ever eaten! Will be back again and again.

I have been to this sushi restaurant multiple times, the food is always amazing. The owners are very friendly people that go the extra mile to make your experience enjoyable. This is my go to sushi place in Kingston!

Went in and sat down. The lady was super rude. Then she starts coughing and is clearly sick. And they didn't have a change table for our baby

The staff was very helpful when we questioned the menu or what's included with what options. The all-you-can-eat sushi quality rivals that of any Al a carte place.

My favourite thing was that all the fish is wild, not farmed, so it has a little different taste to it, but it is so perfect. They also make their own soya sauce and it's not as salty as other places. The rolls are ginormous and very fresh tasting.

I cant say enough about how amazing Sapporo is - the sushi has never been less than amazing, the couple who run the restaurant are adorable and personable and I've never had less than A-Grade service and food. Awkward location but within walking distance from my house, adorable decor. My absolute favourite sushi place in Kingston for a student budget and date night! - All you can eat sushi is really all you can eat - the staff are wonderful and noticed myself and my date visiting regularly and will often give us extras. All food is made to order and delicious. Staff remember our orders. LOVELY!

I have eaten there So many times, so much my mom calls the lady who works there mom. We love the food and how fresh it is. 10/10, you need try it!

Love this place, great for small groups, prices are super reasonable, can start off with quite a bit for $20 then upgrade to all you can eat for an extra 5. Really great sushi, everything my friends and I have gotten has been awesome!

I went here with my friends yesterday hoping for some great all you can eat sushi and we were not disappointed! It had a very warm and friendly environment and there was great food and great service! Looking forward to returning

One of the best sushi I've ever had. The chef kept coming out and bringing us more food for us to try (free of extra charge) ; you really can feel the experience of authentic Japanese cuisine at this restaurant. Definitely worthy of the high rating it's obtained.

I moved to Kingston from Ottawa a year ago and have been craving a good AYCE sushi place. With 12 months of no luck I finally tried Sakura which i was recommended against trying. I was satisfied enough with Sakura, classic AYCE/tablet/franchise experience, but really missed the high quality Sushi I used to enjoy in Ottawa. I also missed the menu selection.

My boyfriend told me Sapporo had the best sushi he had ever tried but he wasnt sure if they had AYCE. Well they do have AYCE and it was better than any sushi I've ever tried in Ottawa or Kingston. The atmosphere is amazing. It's a small restaurant with an extremely small kitchen (only 1 person working in it in the couple of hours we were there - the owner) and the sushi is SO FRESH and prepared with some mega TLC. The owners are extremely sweet and will remember your face after you've visited 5 or 6 times. (As a server. I rarely recognize repeat customers so for the owners to do this is incredible)

The owner/sushi chef also was very attentive to the customers and their specific needs. He was cooking the sushi meals to order and judging the table sizes for portions. I cant think of any restaurant that gives this type of personalized service. It's a win for everyone. We dont feel awful about wasting food or being charged for AYCE and the restaurant creates less waste (cutting costs/saving environment.)

If you get a chance to chat with the owners- TAKE IT. They are willing to teach you a bit about fish/sushi and the freshness and he explained his ordering process to us. We will be regulars from now on and if you're a sushi lover in Kingston and have never been to Sapporo then you are MISSING OUT.
