Sara's KW Driving Academy Kitchener, Waterloo, Ontario

After coming to Canada, I (a person with > 10 year of car driving experience) realized, the driving schools here are actually not to help you in getting your Driving License, but in-fact to milk out money from you. So the strategy they've adapted here is to "DEMOTIVATE" in all aspect they can, so that you end up paying them more and more and more. In my case, they nearly succeeded.
But I was lucky enough to change my car driving instructor to Sara's KW driving school.
The way she teaches is very simple, straight-forward, with honest feedback, no money making intention. In my country, teacher holds a very high respect, and if he/she is not that good, it's highly dis-graceful thing. But Sara, unlike other Car Instructor (Like cunning ones in Dads Driving School), in my opinion, is the "Best Instructor" anybody can get here. She never discourages, nor she misguides.
Her way of teaching is impeccable, unblemished, sublime, beyond all praise.

The absolute best instructor! So diligent and professional! I passed my G2 on the first go! Would recommend to any level driver!

Sara was good. I took 2 classes (3 hours overall) for my G test. She was good in refreshing my mind with the rules as i had to unlearn all the wrong practices that i inculcated in past 4 years. She took me in the test route (though there was a slight change in the route in the exam). Overall she was good.

Sara is the one that made me pass my g2 road test for the first time! She really is an excellent driving instructor! She helped me improve my driving skills and taught me really well with a good price $! Above all, she’s highly recommended! Thanks Sara

Sara was an excellent instructor! She taught me how to drive with confidence and helped me drastically improve my driving skills. Individual classes are well priced, and Sara is pretty flexible with scheduling lessons. Overall, I highly recommend!

Sara helped me pass my G yesterday and I couldn’t be any happier. I had my G2 for 4 years and my license was expiring and I was really really nervous. I used her car for the test which really helped and she showed me the routes and the parking lot before, which really helped because there is construction there. Without her help I really dont think I would have passed

Sara is aaaaamazing! I was hesitant at first because of some of the reviews but I'm so glad I chose her. She is such a beautiful person. She calls it like it is and I appreciate her honesty. If she's tough on you it's because she wants to make sure you are safe and are confident. After all you did hire her to teach you so she cant be your teacher and your friend. Great experience overall. Sara is a great instructor. Only a handful of lessons were more than enough to prepare me for both G2 and G road test

Soussan is a very good instructor. Her english is very good and she is very familiar with how things work here in Canada. I had experience from overseas and she was able to show me the test routes and I passed my G2 on the first try. She is very friendly and very knowledgeable person

Sara is an amazing instructor! I essentially had no driving experience before signing up and set my G2 test way sooner than I probably should have but she got me ready and I was able to pass the first time! She’s really nice and extremely helpful, do yourself a favour and sign up when you get the chance! You won’t be disappointed!

She was very casual about the whole thing and it made me get over my fears and to go for it

I just moved from India to Canada in December. And never in my life did I drive in so much snow and ice. Sara showed me what to do and I am happy she taught me these skills and rules
I recommend every new person that moves here, even if they have experience from back home take some lessons to be more familiar with how you must drive in Canada

I moved here from India is Oct. I had experience but driving there is very different then driving in Ontario. Ms Sara helped train me into a driver that not only passed the test but also someone that can drive safely while respecting Canadian driving rules

Sort the reviews by recent when you are considering this school. You can see that in the last few months people have been coming forward about Sara’s manipulative and unprofessional nature.

Before I paid, I inquired about doing my training over one season, and Sara lied that she would be able to work with my schedule. After I paid, she refused to book lessons for up to a month at a time, stretching it out over > half a year. It might also be worth mentioning that both her and my other instructor were constantly texting or making personal phone calls during lessons.

Two last minute lesson cancellations; once, it was a no-show by the instructor. Also had a last minute location change!

This is where the real scamming comes in. On my second last lesson, I was asked to purchase 4 additional lessons. I hesitantly agreed to this. After the fourth one, Sara went into her office, and confirmed that she certified me (enabling me to book my test). Over the next few days she kept insisting that I purchase more additional lessons, and when I refused to go to another lesson, she told me that she wouldn’t certify me until I took another lesson. I had no official record that she had already certified me. I called her out on lying about not certifying me, booked my test myself, and had no further correspondence with her, after she sent many awful gaslighting text messages. I never received my 2 hour pre-exam lesson and received no compensation for this.

I had great driving lessons with Sara. She was patient and nice. She taught me about "good habits" and She repeatedly instructed me down the smallest details until these habits become second nature to me. I learned a lot about being safe when driving, since cars are not the only ones that use the road, and we should respect pedestrians and cyclists.

Additionally, the car used for the lessons was nice and Sara was always on time. The price was fair but I think it was a good investment since it is important to be a competent and safe driver. I passed on my first try and would certainly consider her driving school for my G test in few months!

Sara is absolutely not a very professional instructor at all. The ones who are saying that she is very charming etc etc have not dealt with her longer I did. She doesnt teach you well, manipulates you to take more lessons from her and try disagreeing with her a little bit and she will show you her true nature. Very rude and has no customer service concept.

I would not recommend this school please invest your money where atleast you are treated nicely and get valuable lessons. Even the office of hers and where she gives the in class lessons is too shady! I wish I would not have wasted my money there.
