Nice camping park. Sites were private enough with lots of trees. Some shade so not too hot. Not too big. Easy enough to walk around or bike as well. Few hiking trails. Lots of river access. Splash pool was not functioning. Showers were warm with good water pressure.nice and clean.flush toilets throughout the park!
General store also good a little bit of everything.lots of ice cream.sold out over Long weekend.
Local farmer was great for fire wood and cheaper then the park.

We got a last minute booking and it was great. Bathrooms were clean, sites were leveled and really close to the river. Took our paddleboards out for a day of sunshine and tranquility

Headed to the Bluffs to meet up with 2 Grand Daughters and did a short trip for 2 bridges and a little fishing took about 3.5 hours and then set up Neil's truck so Jenn and Neil could take a float down to the first bridge before they had supper Tight Lines Fishing

Gave it a 4 star mainly because of convenience for overnight kayakers and canoeists. Small waterside sites but I guess we don't need much room. Great to have nice showers and clean flush toilets. Lots of seasonal campers who look like they've been there forever complete with the obligatory gnomes and various ceramic ornamental creatures parading around their sites. To each his own. Nice hiking trails. The Bluffs lookout is worth the reasonably short hike.
No signal in most of the park but that didn't bother me. There's a Wifi hotspot near the interpretive center if you need it.
I found the price a bit steep at $41 for a tiny site but maybe I'm just old and grumpy. The killer was the $16 reservation fee on top of the regular camping fee. Twice the price of Algonquin Provincial Park's reservation fee. These days a reservation is almost a neccessity, especially if you pull up in a kayak after a 5 hour paddle, so they've got you.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our campsite said pull through, but we could not pull through and was very muddy. The fire pit was at one end and trailer at other end. We have had better sites at this place. This is unique if you have horses, you can bring your horses and ride the trails

Great campground along the Saugeen River. We stopped in for 1 night during our Kayak of the river. They have riverside campsites you can paddle to. A general store in the middle serves up ice cream and coffee. There is a horse shoe pit, pool tables, and fußball tables if you get bored. I highly recommend this campground for those travelling along the Saugeen River, or for those in the general area.

This campground is spacious and rustic.
It does boast a pool table (that had no que ball), Foosball also had no balls) and ping pong table (you had to buy your own balls). But given how ppl so often treat these items, I wasn't surprised.
All 6 in our party found we had little to no service in the camp grounds.this can be a perk.
The swimming was limited to wading in the river, the wading pool was closed for the season due to inspection issues, and the splash pad was 2 flowers that sprayed.
There are several small parks for kids, some just slides and swings and some with more.
Lots of bathrooms and showers were free push on showers that turned off every 10se ones, but the button is in the shower, and the water was a perfect temp.
None of the above deterred us from having a wonderful time.
The park is huge. The sites were kind of tiny, but there were lots of additional parking spots, and they were laxed about how many vehicles could stay (with a small additional fee).

Having the park be an equestrian campground was a wonderful, unique experience.
The river is perfect for canoeing or kayaking.the trails were beautiful, and it was clear where we were going.

We would absolutely camp there again.
Plan your trip well.don't go expecting to work from your site and get off the grid and relax.

Definitely a perfect time had by us all

$20 dump fees
Nice campground. Quite normal for ontario. What was not normal, was the expectation that you pay each time you need to dump.even for people who paid to stay in the park.
This one small aspect is enough to say we will not be back.

We enjoyed Saugeen Bluffs as the playground was close to our campsite. The splash pad is quite small. Unfortunately, the pool has not been running since pre-covid, despite the website advertising the pool as an amenity, the staff reporter the website hasn't been updated. This was disappointing. Nice trails.

Wonderfully quiet under a great canopy of Carolining Forest birds galore, friendly chipmunks and no cell service. Perfect

Staff is so friendly and helpful. Great quiet place to camp and enjoy nature. Hiking trails through the woods and along the river. Canoe/kayak rentals on site.

A beautiful park, friendly staff. We have stayed at the park 4 times and always have a great experience. Between the great trails and river access to the playground and splash pad this is a great family friendly park. Washrooms haven't had a proper cleaning in quite a while but that is on par with conservation areas. 100% recommend.

Absolutely beautiful campground. Friendly staff that are always willing to help. The toilet facilities are EXTREMELY good. Real toilets, sinks to wash hands, showers. Very clean. There are a good couple spots for sititng near the river and also a beautiful lookout point. Other than a very noisy neighbour, this was the best camping trip I've had in a long time!
Will definitely be back.
