My experience with Saunafin was and still is terrific.
Very happy with the kit and heater.
Had a small issue with the heater control panel after a year and a half and they replaced it immediately, no questions asked.
In today’s world you can’t ask for more than that.

I loved everything about my experience working with Saunafin. From the quoting, to ordering and shipment process. Everything was handled professionally. The materials were expertly and carefully packaged and arrived with zero issues. The instructions were clear and my sauna turned out gorgeous. Better than I expected.

Worst customer service! When I called Saunafin and spoke to Allen I explained that the delivery time was very important to me due to my work schedule. That I had called around to other supplier. He said “ if you send the down payment today I can guarantee your deliver September 5th” I continued checking on the delivery status and I was always ensured that it would be delivered on time. September 5th came and when I called they said “oh next week” when next week came. They said “ I can promise you September 15th, and you will receive a discount due to the delay. My sauna was delivered September 21, when I had returned to work. And the extra items (bucket/ thermometer) missing. I have called several times since then and was promised $250 off that would be sent e-transfer- I have been waiting over a month. Allen also said he would check back with the supplier and I would get another discount for the delay. Today is November 1st and I have not received anything not even a call back. All I wanted was an honest answer I guess that was too much to ask.

The sauna kit that we purchased is beautiful and works perfectly. The instructions were also well detailed and explained. I would highly recommend anyone Saunafin.

We love our Saunafin Sauna. Buying a sauna is intimidating for a first timer. Mike was very helpful configuring the layout to work in our space and understanding the fundamentals. The end product looks great and we are enjoying it immensely.

Purchasing a sauna is tricky: It's probably a once-in-a-lifetime purchase, so there's no chance to try out a variety of sources before buying. My husband and I needed a custom size and we had to rely on contractors to figure out the details of installing a sauna "kit" in our house. There didn't seem to be much question that SaunaFin had the best reputation for sauna kits, so we ordered.
Turned out that SaunaFin is very thorough in their transactions and support. Every detail is documented. The most important details are made very clear with bold and highlights. Photos are taken of the kit so we knew exactly what to expect upon delivery.
And when the inevitable questions arose, someone always answered the phone and/or returned our emails. I think we had 4-5 follow-up questions, including needing to replace the switch cover after we chipped it, and SaunaFin always courteously answered our queries. We were even able to get our contractor and our electrician on live calls with SaunaFin to walk through details.
Their customer service was reassuring, especially for such a large and complicated product, ordered from Canada, shipped to the U. S.
We've been using our custom sauna for about 2 weeks, and we love it. I highly recommend SaunaFin if you're considering a sauna purchase.

4^ for service, 5* for quality of product. We love our sauna and it is a really good quality product. Good ceadar wood.
Service could improve. They tried to raise our price after we left a deposit a few times. We received a couple boards that were too long and a handle that broke, that we had to chase to get resolved. Otherwise, we would buy another sauna from them again. Perhaps their phone staff could be a bit friendlier.

Who would not love this barrel sauna? Immediately upon entering, the smell of the cedar begins to calm as the senses are further evoked by the glorious view out through the 7-foot panoramic window. The installation was quick and seamless. It is easy to care for and requires little maintenance. The sauna benefits us daily with its deep soothing heat therapy and invigorating add-ons. We also purchased the dump bucket and water bucket with ladle to further enhance the experience. They are sturdy and well-constructed. The Saunafin team provided friendly and professional service without any issues.

Kit was complete, very little wastage, excellent quality cedar, great instructions. Turned out beautifully! Great support when needed.

From the moment we walked into the show room, the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The ordering process was very simple - we got a 5x7 pre-fab sauna kit and the wood was superior quality. Instructions were clear, installation went well and they answered any follow up questions we had. We love our new sauna!

In 2019 we renovated our home in Sarasota Florida and after searching on line and local (Florida?) we found the Saunafin company, and their 4x5 Sauna kit seemed to be made specifically and exclusively for us!
It arrived by freight just before the pandemic. Our contractor, a native Floridian and his crew were a bit skeptical, to say the least, in all their years building homes on the gold coast, they never had a request or dreamed of installing a Sauna. I have travelled to Finland dozens of times and became a "believer" way back. I was so surprised that after spending quality time in the sauna, my blood pressure became normal. My Doctor can verify this!
Needless to say, it fit like a glove, went in easily and we have been enjoying this amazing product ever since. As a side note, we were told as snow birds, that Florida was "sauna" enough! (especially in the summer months!) Chuckle, chuckle!
We have had a ton of folks check out our Sauna, including the wife of our contractor, who wanted all the "info" so she could install one in her own home.
I apologize for the delayed review. By the way, dealing with the entire "faraway" staff was a professional, polite and positive experience. They expressed a real concern that all would go well.

Horrible customer service. Sent me pre written notices. They would not commit to their posted delivery terms, which are 2 to 4 weeks but I wanted a commitment as those had been unchanged for month. They did not respond anymore even I offered to pay right away. Reading the they unreliable in their commitment I could not take the risk of not getting delivery in the timeframe they promised. Be aware and careful!
This email from your employee is not 2 to 4 weeks lead time: "At this time I cannot guarantee anything" after I asked if she at least could could at least commit to 5 weeks. Who will order under this circumstances? On top of it she stopped even responding when I explained that i need a shorter window because I have to plan around a school break to come up from Florida. If you have 2 to 4 weeks in your advertising and cannot guarantee ANYTHING you need change what you post.

Finished assembling the indoor prefab cabin sauna (5x6). Have been in it everyday since! Purchasing was easy the staff went through all the options. No problems buying in Canada and shipping to the US. There were no surprises on delivery times or the sauna (other than it exceeded my expectations!) I am so happy with the steer on the TYLO Combi it gives a wide range of steaming and heating options. The Sauna went together with no problems and looks great. I talked with the Saunafin staff a couple of times during the install very friendly and helpful. This is a high quality well manufactured sauna designed so anyone can put it together! Thanks Saunafin I will enjoy it for many years to come!

Serviced my long distance order with personal attention. Over delivered, stated 4 weeks availability, called in less than two weeks, ready to go. Held my wood burning sauna stove for 3 weeks till I could pick up. Too soon to comment on stove, still in box waiting for me to get to DIY install point. Great service, good selection of sauna accessories too.

Posting this on behalf of my parents who are beyond excited for their newest addition to their home. The whole experience working with the team at Saunafin (from start to finish) has been such a pleasure. Every step of the way, whenever a question arose, they were there to walk my folks through the purchase, the installation and the set-up of their Sauna. They can't stop raving about the entire process and experience and of course the final product. Definitely recommend.

The owner Mike is dishonest and rude person.
Eight years ago I bought sauna heating unit from him with the life time warranty for the parts.
For those 8 years two of tents inside the unit got burned and I need to exchange them.
Recently another tent got burned and I need to exchange it again.
This time Mike was very angry and accused me of abusing his products.
He told me that he would not be honoring his own Life time warranty any more.
He did not consider that by selling defective products he is not the only one who is losing the money.
Every time I need to change his tent I am paying $150.00 for the technician which is double of his tent coast.
Also his business was not following Covid-19 regulations at the time of the lockdown that is something what I would be bringing to the attention of Health Canada authorities for investigation.

We received our sauna by freight in January 2021 and when the spring came along, we set out in the building project. It only took the day and it was actually a lot of fun with the family and barbeque in the backyard. Very easy and it came out solid! We had a few changes made with the design and Saunafin and Mike were great to work with to ensure it met our specifications. We've already used the sauna several times and it was truly enjoyable.

Frustrating experience during lockdown about three weeks ago. Was accompanying friend, when stepped in noticed a lots of people inside not following COVID restrictions and social distancing.

This was an exceptional service from start to finish. Mike and the team went out of the way to coordinate the order despite the challenges that COVID presented. Even though the re-model and ultimate installation occurred 5 months from the order delivery when we had an issue Mike dealt with it immediately (it turned out to be my fault) and provided a 1st class service experience. I would un-hesitantly recommend them to anyone wanting a quality product backed by 1st class service.

With 5 of us at home all the time during this pandemic, we have more than LOVED the reprieve of a sauna at the end of the day! It really gave us something to look forward to, and we can't wait to have friends over to enjoy it one day soon when that is an option. Thanks to Saunafin, our backyard has been our vacation this year!

Great staff. Buy a pre built or get the material to build your own. They have beautiful wood, but it isnt cheap. All the accessories too.

I would just like to share with you how much we love our sauna. I had shopped a few places before we found Saunafin and we were instantly happy with the service we received. I was also pleasantly surprised to be able to alter your plans to suit our needs and thus ordering our dream sauna. I’ll try to included a few pictures to show how easily your kit you sent with full instructions and with items labeled for there specific purpose. It was a bit overwhelming at first until I separated all the components and was able to easily identify there purposes. Bought a barrel sauna with the Tylo Combi heater from Saunafin. Before I purchased I took a trip to the showroom for a visit, Mike was extremely helpful and knowledgable in answering my questions and concerns. Assembly of the sauna was painless with the very detailed instructions that were provided. My wife and I had no troubles assembling it with only basic tools. I went with clear cedar for the barrel and the quality is fantastic, the Combi heater was also a worthy upgrade with its ability to consistently generate just the right amount of steam. Highly recommended Saunafin to anyone looking for a sauna.

We installed an infra red sauna. Mike at Saunafin was very helpful and responded to my questions promptly. Once the kit arrived, it was installed quickly and proffesionally.

My sauna renovation is now complete and it looks great. I bought a complete kit from Saunafin and it arrived in good shape on a sturdy pallet. The kit included all the cedar (which is beautiful top quality and clear), the controls, a new heater and I even splurged on a nice water bucket and wall thermometer. The glass window door really sets it off nicely. The kit was customized to accommodate the dimensions of our existing sauna and Saunafin provided exactly the right amount of wood. By carefully cutting and avoiding waste, I ended up with more than enough to complete the project. (Of course everything had to be final cut to fit but I ended up a nice stack of sweet smelling kindling!) I highly recommend Saunafin. Their staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.

after 3 showroom visits, 5 diffident quotes and quite few emails, and very patient SAUNAFIN team we have finalized what i wanted!
At first i was planing to do installation myself, but on the Advise of Mike i did not, and I cant thank him enough for it, there is no way i could have done this as good as his guy! And as fast!
After Driving contractor crazy for few weeks, changing floor plans, adding Change room project, Finlay my project is finished, actually almost 90% need to install accessories, add fan exhaust in change room, and paint out side door.the install was a bit complicated, due the floor plan,
it is inside of the "Cold room" under the stairs, we decided to split the room in 2 and have small change room/storage on one side, and Sauna on the other, here are few picture from start to finish

I recently purchased a sauna kit from Saunafin. The kit was well prepared, instructions were detailed. The wood was cut to the proper lengths. It was easy to install. The quality of the materials was outstanding. We are working through an issues with the heater but with the excellent customer service I am confident we will resolve the issue. The people at saunafin are responsive and professional. I would definitely purchase from Saunafin in the future.

Update: the sauna is complete and we have used it numerous times. The heater is amazing. It produces just the right amount of steam to be comfortable. The controls are very easy to understand and use. We had one issue with the heater which was resolved quickly with a new control board. I recommend Saunafin to anybody who is thinking of a sauna.

Bought the kit with Tylo Combi and had it installed by their recommended installer. Working well now after ironing out a few kinks along the way.
The product is nice and well sorted (not a single missing part to our surprise), however the overall shopping experience and the customer service is, subpar, or perhaps "selective" judging from the other positive reviews. On the day of picking up the kit, the owner Mike became a total stranger, would not respond to our greetings, shushed us when we tried to ask a question and walked back to his office - totally unexpected and unprofessional.
Interestingly, the installer also mentioned/complained about their business approach, and the general lack of customer service to say the least.perhaps it is too much to ask for from a successful business enjoying some degree of monopoly.

We are extremely happy with our sauna. It's beautiful and excellent quality. My husband and son were easily able to get it put together in a weekend. Our whole family enjoys the health benefits of regular saunas. SaunaFin has provided us with excellent customer service.

Exceeded Expectations!

Saunafin not only met but greatly exceeded my expectations for the pre-fab sauna that we purchased. Every step of the way was handled professionally, promptly, and gave me reassurance that I would be satisfied with the sauna. The ordering process was efficient, and they sent out the kit on schedule. The packaging was top notch and the kit was received with no damage. The cedar tongue and groove paneling was cut to length and the finish was grade A! They labeled each component of the kit, making assembly easy to accomplish. The kit was shipped with several extra pieces which was helpful in selecting the right color combination for the interior walls. Their instructions were easy to follow and along with the material list, made the job go quickly. Milena in customer service / sales was a pleasure to work with and did an outstanding job in communicating order status and answering questions that I had.

I highly recommend Saunafin to anyone who wants to install a home sauna. We use it several times a week, it is gorgeous and the cedar smells so nice. They rate a 10 out of 10!

We ordered a kit from SaunaFin that was customized with floating benches. We spent lots of time on the web site, which was the primary reason for working with this company. The information there was excellent. I did all the framing, insulating, and wiring per SaunaFin's specs. Delivery was on time and all materials carefully packed and arrived in perfect condition. We were especially impressed with the quality of materials and with the packing lists which accurately identified every piece. The printed directions were specific and most helpful. Bought the DIY kit and upgraded my heater to the Tylo. Amazing quality cedar and just the right amount. So little scrap left over except a few inches here and there. Worth every penny. If your handy at all I highly recommend. The Saunafin staff went above and beyond in helping me out when I accidently broke the temp sensor wire while pulling it through the wall cavity. Sent me a new one right away.free of charge. Perfect.

We researched several vendors. Saunafin was the most responsive and was able to ship in a reasonable amount of time. Prices were about the same, however, their responsiveness, personal assistance, website information were clearly superior. The materials package was excellent in quality; everything was well packed and easy to follow. The wood is beautiful!

We are very impressed with the service provided by the Saunafin. The product and the customer service are exceptional! We asked many questions and each time we received a quick and detailed answer. We built a sauna frame in advance and were worried about the pre-cut boards not fitting but they fit as a glove. We wanted that the package arrived when the frame was ready and the Saunafin respected this arrangement. The sauna was delivered in time and all boards were perfect. Provided instructions made it easy to install. Tylo Sense Combi heater with a steam generator is very powerful and versatile. Last May or June I bought the LK premium plus, 5x7 sauna kit with the tylo sport upgrade and a smp10 steam generator. I just finished building the sauna.cost for my kit was a under 8 thousand. I finally got around to building it. Its been a week, i've used it 6 times. I was a little apprehensive of buying the kit at first because everything seems expensive to me, but i did break the kit down and cost it out piece by piece.the clear cedar, 11/16th t&g adds up pretty quickly, then theres the cleats, supports, the skirt, the benches, the trim, the heater guard, etc.long story short buying the kit saves easily 1500$ at least.the quality of the cedar was really good.but what i was really impressed with is the quality of the door.surprisingly i have enough material to jamb up and trim the door which i wasn't sure was a part of the kit.i went with the clear glass, with the traditional handle and it looks good, the seal is incredible.i give the staff top marks as well, as over the months they've been there to answer my questions long after the sale.thank you guys, happy sauna'ing!

I purchased a premium sauna kit and an upgraded heater from Saunafin.

The sauna was actually a fun project to build. I am by no means a master tradesman but I found the kit easy to put together. When I had questions the staff at Saunafin were knowledgable and answered them all. The only additional trade I used was a certified electrician.

The quality if the wood in the premium package was excellent and the upgraded heater works exactly as promised.

I am now using the sauna and am very happy with it.

We just love our new sauna. Would highly recommend this Saunafin. Love the cedar smell, nice quality, smooth installation and setup and awesome customer service.

The staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. Our kit arrived in August as scheduled and went together in a day. It is a handsome and very pleasing structure that we use 3-4 times a week. I did not think I would enjoy it in the summer/fall as much as we did. Winter has been special. It has been a great, relaxing place that we have shared with friends and family. We are going to enjoy this for many, many years to come.

Great workmanship and a high quality end product overall. We've only had our Tylo-sense combi since August 2019, but I already can attest to the efficiency of it.

As the Pod Sauna was constructed in November, early December, all exterior wood surfaces were pre-stained, (2 coats), before assembly in a heated garage.
The sauna base was insulated with 2 inches of Blue SM and 1-1/2 inches of ridgid Silverboard, making this floor very comfortable and energy efficient! The Pod Sauna is fantastic and a real joy to our healthy daily living!
Without question, to those who are wanting a sauna; I highly recommend Saunafin!

It’s been more than 4 years now since I built our sauna from a Saunafin kit. It is in use almost daily. I love it.
Having only a very little building experience, it took me only a few days to finish the project with the help of my teenage son. (Including the building of the shell shed.)
The quality of the materials is excellent. The customer service was very helpful in customizing my order. I highly recommend this company.

They have the best quality kits and materials for Saunas and My wife and I highly recommend! We have had our infrared sauna for over 13 years and it still looks amazing. The Sauna and steam Essence makes it feel like a personal hidden oasis. I loved the Warm, Refreshing scent of Citrus and my wife loves the traditional peppery Eucalyptus Essence. We also tried the Eucalyptus spray and it is lovely in the sauna and shower. The spray made my skin revitalized, especially after the sauna, its a must have! We recently replaced the window in our sauna, (after the kids accidentally hit it) and received amazing, friendly service. Milena exceeded our expectations with how quickly and kindly she handled our order. She is also very knowledgeable about the oils and sprays for our sauna. After trying the spray and steam oils, we sauna with it every time! Thank you for the amazing quality that keeps our sauna everlasting! 10/10!

We are very pleased with the smooth communication process with the stuff, timely shipment of Customized sauna cabin all the way to California, as well as the quality of the materials. After having a good family time to build the cabin up along our hill slope, we now have a three-glass window cabin with a view of Silicon Valley - we like it very much. Mike was very helpful in showing us exactly what we wanted. We ended up getting a 5x7 dry sauna with a tylo combi heater. We love traditional saunas. This product allows us to have best of both worlds - a hot dry sauna and humidity when you feel like it.we were in the midst of a major basement Reno, so thanks mike for coming by to help us figure out what needed to be done to fit the sauna into our new living space. It was a great custom build.

Vlad did the installation and his work was absolutely meticulous. You can see the perfection in the way each piece of wood is cut. The quality of work was outstanding! We would definitely recommend purchasing from these guys! They know what they are doing, provide trustworthy product and service.

We are really pleased with our SaunaFin kit and their staff was very helpful. Wow this is nice and the wood smells wonderful are common comments. From the ordering process through the assembly, the SaunaFin staff helped us understand and make good choices on our sauna. The assembly instructions were thorough, easy to follow step by step, and the sauna came together nicely. It heats up quickly making it convenient to use. It was great dealing with Sauna-Fin. And above all, the product is really exceptional, easy to assemble and well done. Yes, you might scratch your head when you see the price (compared to a hot-tub or such), but once you turn on the sauna and smell the cedar, you see that it was worth every dollar.
