Saunders Farm

This was such a waste of money. For the Christmas event, there was not much there for the kids to do. Some stale icing to decorate a 2-inch cookie, put some sprinkles in a bag and call it reindeer food.oh and I got food poisoning for eating poutine so that was a bonus. We won't be going back.

The experience was beautiful.
The only downside is that it's expensive and when you book the ultimate experience package with the highest cost you expect to, at least, get a free meal with a hot drink, and not pay extra!

Fun experience for Halloween. Long wait times and felt a little rushed. Would highly recommend visiting on a weekday as I have done in the past and my experience was much better. That said, it is clearly a high quality entertainment option year round.

Yearly adventure. I like how they're changing up the haunts more. Would love to check it out in the summer

Was better in previous years. It's a little overpriced for how long the lines are/the quality of the activities.

My oldest has been attending for a few years and her sister was able to join this year! They are both soooo excited every morning to attend and talk about saunders camp all year long. It’s always at the top of their list for camps. (And mine too)

I very much appreciate the level of engagement from your counsellors. I know being a camp counsellor is one of the most exhausting summer jobs but you all rock it! When my kids can name you all, want to dress up like you - you are doing something right! They are even talking so much about CITS which is incredible. This is what makes all the difference in day camp experiences.

We are always greeted by warm smiles and hellos and end the day the same.

I appreciate the easy communication (during tornado warnings and all) and just wanted you all to know that we really appreciate your hard work and look forward to returning next year!

Our kids love Saunders Farm Camp. My son is autistic and they were very accommodating. Saunders Farm is also a great place for a family visit on the weekend, during summer, or for special events such as Halloween and Christmas on the farm. Great staff, food, cider, and activities. The zip line and mazes are also fun!

Still very fun but the hayride isnt as scary as it used to be. Each year the hayride seems to be less and less worth the wait. The best attraction by far is the Circus

Had a ton of fun, was a little more spooky then we had initially thought but the kids still had a great time. They ran out of candied apples but multiple people told us there were fresh ones coming soon, and told us where to wait. Staff there went the extra mile to make our experience great.

Keeping things fresh with different events and activities it’s always a good place to take the kids. Halloween to summer camp to Christmas lights you can never go wrong. From time to time you will find prices on certain things higher than your used too but we all have to keep the lights on! Always worth the trip. Keep up the great work!

Have been able to enjoy all the amenities at Saunders for the last 10 years as a member of the Munster community. Always amazing to see the new exciting things being offered every year! From the haunting season, to the Christmas lights with all the local vendors, the amazing camp and activities during the summer season, the list is endless! There is so much to see and do! You will not be disappointed, no matter which season you choose to visit

My children spent a week at Saunders Farm last year and this week! They really enjoyed their time there. Counsellors are awesome and engaged with children and parents. Their manager Matt was great at keeping parents up to date related to a tornado warning. He kept us informed that children were all placed in a safe area and invited us to pick-up children earlier if able to; for safety reason. I was very impressed with the whole experience and would recommend them anytime! Kudos Saunders Farm!

Highly recommend especially if you are with kids. Loads of fun spaces to play, mazes to conquer, a splash pad, zip line, bouncing pad, tractor rides and more. Great way to spend the day out.

It was amazing how big the property is, and the variety of activities to keep both kids and adults entertained. I always thought there was only one maze, but there were actually three. The zip-line was fun. The pizza at the restaurant was excellent. It was just very odd how I had to walk to a different area to get poutine, and they weren't exactly next door to each other. I tried the flight of apple ciders, and the candy apple was my favourite.

Lovely place to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon. Very good play area for younger kids and a decent range of hard ciders plus some food particularly wood fired pizzas that looked very tasty. Quite a few other items to purchase from the shop like chutneys and fudges.

Flight of ciders is a good bet unless you have a go to favourite it was about $12 for a selection of four. Lots of free parking - you have to pay for the maze part which we didn't go to as our son is still quite young so can't comment on that but it's free entry generally. Overall very pleasant way to spend an afternoon having a drink but still kid friendly.

Good place for kids outing. Not too many activities. But good place to spend couple of hours

High prices for school kids and the washrooms were disgusting. No toilet paper and when staff were informed they just placed the new industrial size roll on top of the dispenser which children could not use easily, so it ended up on the wet dirty floor. So glad I had Kleenex in my backpack to use.

If you live in the west end of Ottawa, you have most likely to have been to Saunders Farm at least once. Most likely during its well-known Halloween events. I went there in the middle of the day with a friend of mine and their family, a different atmosphere when it's not trying to be spooky. It's a pretty big farm, mostly geared to kids and/or families with small kids I would say. With a few maxes, play structures, and things of the like.

Best vegan pizza ever! Truly a family fun farm with a ton to do at every time of year. Zip lining, mazes, tacos, cider, escape rooms, they have it all.

My daughter had an awesome experience at Farm camp last week. The camp is well organized and the camp director Matt is very responsive to questions. Very kind, enthusiastic and professional counsellors. Big thanks and shout out to Skunk, Cat and Maple! The kids had a blast, were never bored and the food was healthy and delicious. I really appreciated not having to pack a lunch. We will definitely be back next year!

Fun mazes on a muddy wednesday.my friend vasily said the bathrooms were rather queer, in their old-fashionedness.other than that, the parking situation is simple, and the activities were straightforward and enjoyable.only thing keeping this from a one star is they didn't let me make a big mac with their microwaved burger patties and funny well water.

Saunders Farm hosts several events during the year: Halloween Night, Christmas Night, etc. While we are regular at the Halloween Night (lots of fun), recent visit was to enjoy Afternoon Tea for Mother's Day. The traditional items for the usual afternoon tea were delicious and well prepared. Price was reasonable and affordable for afternoon tea. Service was excellent, servers asking frequently if we needed anything, enjoyed the food and apologising profusely for sitting us at the wrong table and taking time to bring our tea (small inconvenience for both). We are a social couple, so we did not mind sitting at the same table than a group of three, but something to keep in mind if you value privacy. While the location is relatively far from Ottawa, 30-45 minute car ride, it sits in the "country" and is a great place for a stroll after tea,

We visited Saunders Farm for a special Mother’s Day afternoon tea. It was so well done and carefully planned! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful and they had taken care of so many extra special touches like a little bouquet of flowers for each mom and special kids plates. Plus we were lucky have the farm all to ourselves for the kids ti explore and play afterwards!

Thank you all for the most spectacular wedding on Sunday, August 2022. A start at one o'clock and the last guest left at 8: 00 p.m.
Chef- The food was simply delicious and met all expectations. Certainly a different style of service created with the bride and groom for an afternoon wedding and it was a hit. (Poke bowl heaven).

Kirsten your assistance throughout the entire process and on was professional, thoughtful and every detail was followed through. As a wedding planner I didn't have to do a thing! You are a treasure and a great representative for Saunders.

The staff were so helpful up until the moment we drove away.
Mitch and Erin were in their element with all their friends and the family.

We look forward to future opportunities of bringing family/ friends to celebrate at the famous “Saunders Farm”. Never made it to the maze or the trampoline! "

Great lunch at their Cider House. The pizza was fantastic along with their cider flights. Their pizza/cider matching recommendations were spot on.

We've had our kids at the Saunders Farm Summer Camp for 3 years and are going back again this summer because they love it so much. The activities are well planned, the counsellors are top notch and the food provided is great. All around, you definitely get your money's worth because the kids have a great time and they're exhausted at the end of the day.

One of my most favorite Mother's day! My husband, myself and 3 children attended the afternoon Mother's day tea at Saunders Farm and everyone had a great afternoon.

We arrived a bit early and the kids enjoyed some of the play structures and the jumping pillows.

The dining area was beautifully set up. We had an assigned table for our booking. The kids got kettle corn, homemade pop tarts, biscuits, jam sandwiches with homemade jam and lemonade which they all enjoyed. The adults enjoyed finger sandwiches and so many sweets. It was all delicious. The servers were all very friendly and the owners were around and introduced themselves and checked in on each table. There was tea, cider, bellini's, beer, lemonade, water and so many beverage options.

The flowers at the end of the tea were so pretty and we got to pick a small bouquet to take home.

After our meal we did some more of the jumping pillows and we did all of the mazes.

The mazes were a lot of fun. They varied in difficulty with some that were simple and straight forward and others with dead ends and loops.

We picked up some preserves in the farm store before we left.

I am so glad that we did the Mother's day tea and I hope that it will be offered again in the future. A father's day event would be awesome too! My husband also really enjoyed the afternoon.

We will definitely be back for most visits in the future.

First time at Fright Fest 2022, and it was really cool. Lots of work go into this festival, and it shows. Some scenes were scarier than others. Some had really long waiting time. I understand this is a farm, but the only criticism would be that walking and waiting feet in the mud is not super fun.so plan footwear accordingly.

Been a long time fan of Saunders Farm and last summer had the opportunity to send my daughter to Farm Camp which she thoroughly enjoyed! Being able to run around outdoors all day over the summer holidays was great for her and came home with tons of memories. She continues to ask when she’ll get to see Turtle again and can’t wait for her to go back! Also enjoyed the accommodation of being able to move a weeks worth of camp to the following summer because of an emergency that came up and weren’t able to attend. Happy to have bought annual passes for the upcoming season!

We had a great experience on our wedding day! We were so happy with how everything turned out and have gotten so many compliments from our guests about how much they loved the venue, food, etc.

The Saunders staff, especially Kirsten, were so accommodating and helpful during the whole experience, answered our many questions, and made our wedding day so wonderful.
