Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar

Fantastic place to pop in have some tasty food! Pizzas, salad kids meals all great tasting along with nice portions. We sat on the patio, music a little too loud for lunch time, but otherwise service super attentive. All around great place.

We had a desert that came with a broken glass. Although that was concerning management dealt with this by going above and beyond. We were very pleased with how they turned such a negative into a positive experience. Thank you! Will certainly be going back.

The service was amazinga and quick! Tyler was great and catered to all our diet restrictions.

Celebrated a friend's 60th Birthday and had the Winterlicious menu. Great food.the mascarpone cheesecake was outstanding. Service was stellar, meeting our every need and Brandon even brought us complimentary bubbly, which was a great touch. Thank you!

I had an amazing experience at this Italian restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. I especially want to give a shoutout to our waitress Zoya - she was fantastic. This Italian restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in the area. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the ambiance and the warm hospitality. Zoya, our waitress, was simply outstanding. She made sure we had everything we needed and her smile was contagious. The food was incredible, with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients.

Great location by the lake and a large patio with good vibes. It was beautiful on a summer day. Our server Frank was very attentive and considerate of our needs. Will definitely be coming back before the summer ends!

For all of those negative reviews, consider this;
90% of them were done within the first week of this restaurant being open. I have been in hospitality for over 25 years and am yet to see any restaurant be perfect in its first couple of weeks. This location continues to impress with their professionalism and quality and you owe it to yourself to ignore the negative and give this establishment a shot!

Amazing pizza and the pasta carbonara is absolutely the best. Service is super friendly and the atmosphere is awesome. Will definitely come back to try the brunch on their patio!

This place is fantastic! Gorgeous, spacious outdoor patio unlike any scaddabush in the GTA, awesome service and of course delicious food. Some of these reviews shouldn’t even be here as all newly opened restaurants have learning curves especially in residential areas like this. Their doing a great job and it’s awesome to have them In our neighbourhood!

We enjoyed our expérience at Scaddabush immensely. The food was so very delicious. Our beautiful server Anna was a delight. She was so very gracious and went above and beyond in her service which made everything run smoothly. I cannot wait to come back and will recommend Scaddabush highly!
We sat on their beautiful patio under a gorgeous and huge umbrella! It was sunny with light breezes. As we sipped on our refreshing sangria we imagined being in Bermuda, having lunch on the beach. That's what Scaddabush reminded us of! See you soon!

Overall we were satisfied with the food, service and also we liked the big patio.

However I don’t understand why they don’t let people in when 70% of the tables on the patio was empty? It was a huge line up outside considering that many tables inside and outside were empty.

My dad and I went here for dinner tonight and it was amazing! The food was incredible. Frank was our server and was the icing on the cake to an amazing dinner. He was very warm and friendly and a pleasure to chat with! We can’t wait to come back again!

For starters, we had Prosciutto with fig jam, EV olive oil, sea salt, focaccia with fresh in-house mozzarella. Followed by Lemon Garlic Shrimp Spaghetti with Alfredo cream, lemon sofrito, baby spinach, and fried capers. Their ingredients are all made in-house, prepared every day.

Service was excellent. Staff is super friendly and attentive, most especially their manager, Stephanie. We will frequent this restaurant and will recommend to our friends. I like that they have a "social" size menu selections that we can share among 4 people.

Their Cheesecake is to die-for (mascarpone, amaretto, hazelnut crust, vanilla whipped cream, and mixed berry compote).

Was happy to try out Scaddabush after discovering it opened near my residence. The Spicy Mozza ball is exceptional and their diavolo pizza was incredible.

Our server Frank was great! Have to give a special thanks to Annie at the front, super sweet and made us feel right at home. Definitely recommend this place.

We had a really bad experience, the food came 1 hour and 27 minutes after we ordered it, the kale salad was basically kale "period". The waiters were whining and complaining about their jobs in front of the clients. I gave this place two stars coz after we complained to the manager we got our delayed food for free but sadly that was after the fact.

Our service was great, the server was very nice and attentive, the food on the other hand was just awful.
The margharita pizza was bland and burnt, my bf couldn't even finish 1 slice and he'll eat just about anything. The bruschetta was mushy and tasteless and honestly seemed like it had been made days before.
Was my first time going to this chain and I honestly don't think I'll be going back.

Fantastic meal as always. Bomba Mozzarella was the star appetizer (spicy!). Service from our waitress Kayla was great. Gnocchi entrees were perfect. This location provided an amazing night by the lakefront

Ridiculous front of house service.

We went in wanting to give this place a shot as we love Scaddahbush's other locations. This place is a mess.
I will give credit to the efficiency of the bar staff for being attentive, knowledgeable and friendly making our wait for a table enjoyable. What was to come was a great disappointment.

We were called up to be seated on the patio, where our server made us aware that his coworker was late and or busy in another section, saying "I will take care of you for now until 'severs name' gets here, but it's okay". That was a very unwelcoming start to our meal.
A family of 18+ people proceeded to come in when the first server we had traded off with our to be server and left him with what looked like at least 4 tables, including ourselves, that still needed to be served. We proceeded to wait to be helped, which elongated our wait to place our order.

We asked the hostess if we got seated inside if we would be served faster to which she replied, "I will have your server come over". She then proceeded to whisper to the new server in front of one of use, it seeming that she was giving him feedback warranted for our first server.
Our second sever came over after the hostess talked to him. We then asked for the bill, which then took another crazy amount of time to receive it as the manager had to find out "where we were transferred from".

To add more insult to injury. I went up to the bar where we had originally order our beverages, to be told I had to wait again because they needed to grab a card from the server to initiate the transaction.

I have never had such childish, mismanaged service. I will not be coming back to this location, nor will I recommend it to my friends and family.

Beautiful interior and the patio, brunches too bad it's only on scaddabush mimico Nutella french toast yummy taste real good 9/10 also berry smoothie 7/10 and the Fettuccini bolongnse 8/10 except it's a little too cold but Fettuccini bolongnse in square one location is better it's more heat on the food temperature.

Great Atmosphere and constant smiles from the staff. The kitchen manager Whitney was amazing. She personally delivered us our calamari after there was a brief mess up with getting our order in. She offered to take care of it seeing as it was our first time at Scaddabush. Great service and staff, will 100 percent be returning soon to try their brunch menu!

Never going back. Don’t waste your money. Premium price for below par food and service.

Have been to many Scaddabush locations before and always had good experiences, so when one opened up in my neighbourhood I knew it was going to be my new go-to comfort spot.

I wish I had read these reviews before, because they all tell the same detailed story as what I experienced.

Cue the night with being told my wife and I had to sit at a rickety lopsided table shoved into a shrub next to the entranceway. Asked to sit at an alternative table (one of many that was empty) and was given attitude that they needed time to clean it. That’s fine, we weren’t rushing - good, because neither were the staff.

About 15 minutes later we get seated. Horrible table layout. Had to walk around the whole patio to double back to our table, and then the waiters kept using the gap between our table and the next as a thoroughfare.

Following some confusion over who was serving us, we eventually got our two classic dishes: bolognese and spaghetti w/meatballs. We then had to ask for cutlery. Bolognese’s pasta was undercooked and spaghetti was over cooked into a mass clump. Both sans salt and flavour.

Throughout this visit we requested multiple times that one of the many radiant heaters or gas heaters be turned on. Patrons on all sides of us requested the same. Eventually asked the manager, who said the propane was out but that she would see if there was more. Never saw her again.

Very ready to leave, we then waited for our bill for over 30 minutes. It seemed that the multiple drinks and dishes that were being offered to our table throughout our sitting were actually being charged to our bill. Some more time to make those corrections while we’re stuck outside in the cold. My wife went inside to use the washroom during this wait and found all the staff just standing around idling inside.

Some suggestions:
- Better training of kitchen, serving and host staff: POS system, people skills, cleaning
- Better table layout to reduce serving staff awkwardly passing patrons all night. Have clear walkways.
- Review of chef/cooks/ingredients
- Put alcohol in alcoholic drinks
- Clean up tables and dishes promptly and do not just accumulate them on a neighbouring table
- Do not spray cleaning agents on adjacent tables towards patrons’ food

Multiple issues: long wait time, slow service, cold food, salad without dressing, Servers complaining about their job and ignoring customers. Won't go back to this location.

Tried this place twice it was a huge disappoint each time. The quality of the food is terrible. Rock hard pasta, burnt meatball at the bottom and I could have made a better pizza at home. Don’t expect the service to be great either. Both times, they got something wrong, food came at different times and wrong order, never brought stuff when we asked. Will never go back here or recommend.

Here i was hoping for some quality Italian food for a reasonable price and instead was offered bland, boring food at some of the highest prices ive ever seen for Italian. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I was invited to Scaddabush by some business associates for a very important meeting. My understanding is that this location was fairly new, and I must say, my experience here was excellent. My table ordered drinks, some freshly made mozzarella apps, several sharable pasta dishes and a couple of huge frinkin meatballs. First off the food was perfect. It served as the sociable backdrop to the important discussions that were taking place. As for the service, I regrettably can't remeber the name of the dude that served us, but he was very friendly and managed to sort of become part of the table and it's inside jokes without being intrusive. Overall my whole table had a great time and I had to problem paying the more than reasonable tab. I hope more people get the chance to visit this location.
