Came in for a girls night. Had Amanda as our server. She was very welcoming and friendly. Made the evening so much better!

The margherita pizza was delicious and the pizzas come with these funny scissors! It is a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and excellent service. Jenna and Lea were especially lovely! Would definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful dinner thanks to Jenna and Lea who provided exceptional service. The Margherita pizza was delicious and the Nutella cake was a perfect way to end the night!

Food was really good. Portions are shareable.
Try the fried polenta and the lemon shrimp spaghetti.
Lemoncello is not too bad, a bit sweet tho.

Came in with really high expectations because I’ve been to the square one location and had a really great experience. Unfortunately this one was a little bit disappointing. The Gnocchi pasta was a little bit sickening. It was too creamy and the texture wasn’t chewy, just mushed in my mouth like mashed potatoes. Not the most satisfying. It sucks because I was especially excited for it. I wanted some protein so I paid $8 to add some chicken and there was so little of it! That really made my experience much worse. There was such less chicken and I can’t believe I paid $8 more for it. So disappointing. The ravioli portion was very small, there were only several raviolis in the entire dish. The only good thing about the food was the fresh mozzarella. It was delicious, and I highly recommend. But don’t get the gnocchi. I’ve had the shrimp linguini before and it’s so much better and so much more worth it. Additionally, the waitress was very kind and friendly. However, it just took way too long to get the bill because she was dealing with too many customers. I was getting a little impatient. Too long to get a hold of the waitress.

Food, Ambience and above all the service of our host Amanda was amazing. I would highly recommend Scaddabush during your Canada trip.

The food is always fabulous and enjoyed every time we ordered take-out. Recently we celebrated my bestie 65th birthday late October.best. We tend to order pasta and pizza often through out the year.

I travel to Toronto lots for work as this restaurant is my to go to spot. Always good and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone. The fresh Mozzarella is a must.

The only complaint I have is that they are not out West! Would love to see a location around Vancouver.

I am beyond appalled by the way the manager and service staff handled a take out mishap. My friend order the Zucca Ravioli, inquired about the dish being served without pears. Since it was in the sauce this was not an option, my friend replied "okay no worries, I'll take it".

(Now regardless of the communication issue.)

My friend reached out to the manager to address her disappointment because when we arrived home she did not have a dish to eat for our date night.

The manager seemed apologetic at first, offering to give a free ravioli next time she returns to that location, however, then she called back and tried to pass the communication error off onto my friend.who mind you still doesn't have a meal, is hungry and disappointed. Advising her how she should be more articulate moving forward. That gesture is unprofessional, unwarranted and just plain out tacky.

That is not the way you handle customer dissatisfaction, especially after my friend gave a $20 tip on a $60meal. Super unclassy! How would you feel.

We had the best time.food was fabulous and our server Jenna was incredible. We came from Kitchener to celebrate my daughter's engagement. So glad we chose Scaddabush!

I made reservations on October 13 online, upon leaving I realized I may be running a little late. I thought the courteous thing to do was to call in to inform them I’m running 10 mins behind. To my surprise, the answering machine answers “we are closed due to renovations on the roof”. Here I am sitting in traffic, ecstatic to finally get out and to find out where I’m having dinner is closed. I suppose the establishment doesn’t value a customers time as I values there’s.

I’d suggest calling in to make reservations instead.

I arrived at this Scaddabush location for delicious food and I was not disappointed! I had a wonderful server named Alisha. I had the shrimp and chicken it was delicious! Highly recommend! Had another amazing time here and I am looking forward to dining here soon!

Our server was Glen, he was very attentive and friendly! Every time I come here the service is top notch and the food is incredible. We came for our anniversary and it was a lovely experience.

Good food & decent service. Fresh mozzarella and pastas are really nice. Dine in experience was great, it ain’t the same with delivery.

I was excited to have dinner here tonight but it was the most underwhelming experience I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time.

The waitress let us know that everything is made from scratch and the most known thing on the menu is the mozzarella. We went for the Naked mozzarella which was alright - it wasn’t bad but not anything special. We then got the spinach and artichoke dip which tasted like it was taken out of a freezer and just drizzled a lot of oil over it - we barely finished half of it (and mostly ate it because we were hungry). We then got the Mario pizza which the moment we got it, it looked like a cup of oil was poured on the pizza, my partner and I tried it and right away felt ill. We told the waitress and she said “it has basil oil so it supposed to be like this” but it has nothing to do with basil oil and it was completely drowning in oil (you couldn’t touch the crust without your hands being oily. Again, we both had one small slice each and couldn’t eat more as we both felt sick. I understand that the food sometimes isn’t done well or maybe there is new staff in the kitchen but then to get a $60 bill for eating barely anything was pretty disappointing. The waitress was really upset when I gave a pretty low tip but we had no attention served our way and had no Interest to make our dinner better when we mentioned our disappointment for the food. I remember coming to Scaddabush a few years ago in Toronto and it was such an awesome restaurant and tonight was a very opposite experience.

My favourite restaurant, my husband and I have been here more than 10 times. We love the food and the vibe. Our server Glenn was amazing.

A great evening meal presented by very pleasant staff. In a world that has changed so much it felt great to step into such a great atmosphere to enjoy such a delicious meal.

We have not been here for a long time and covid hasn't helped. A quick rundown of our visit.service was very good. Sydney was friendly and helpful. We ordered Calamari to start, Toscano kale salad with added goat cheese and quinoa and fettuccine bolognese with added goat cheese. (We kinda like goat and feta cheese). Calamari is quite greasy. It left grease on our fingers and the plate as seen in the pics. Manager offered to take them off the bill so that is a positive. Salad was awesome. Gail enjoyed the texture and flavour. Fettuccine was amazing as well. Loved the flavour and balance of pasta, sauce and meat. Well done overall. We will come back.

We came back.a year later. Not because we didn't like it before as noted above but covid covid covid. We are lucky and got Sydney again and she is just as friendly and a joy to be around as she was last time. This time we had the polenta fries because Gail loved them in South Africa.these are a different recipe then we had in Cape Town but the flavor was wonderful with a tomato sauce, basil and parmesan cheese. Awesome. Lasagne and super food salad were also very good. I think we are coming back more often. Thank you Sydney for another great night.

My son and I went here for a little mother and son date, we absolutely had a great time! The food was delicious and did not have us waiting for HOURS! The staff were kind and attentive.the cocktails are beautiful and tasty! The music was a whole vibe! Definitely coming back!

Came here with my wife for a dinner date. The drinks were great where they had a new apple cinnamon sangria that was delicious. Appetizer didn’t disappoint and the pastas were amazing. To cap it off with their cheesecake which is always great was a good was to end the dinner. Our server Glenn was very friendly and great to talk with. He was very helpful towards the menu and any questions we had for the dishes. Definitely look forward to coming back!

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. Although we are still in the midst of covid, I felt very safe eating here. Social distancing was very apparent with how the guests were spaced out and the check in process was simple. There was no need to touch any icky menus either. It was my first time and I really really enjoyed our experience. First of all, THANK YOU to Vivian for providing such excellent service. She sat us at a wonderful table, lots of space, very private too. She was very good with her wine suggestions and made it very easy for us to choose. She was very patient while we chose our food and made us feel really comfortable. When my food came, the salad had croutons even though I ordered no croutons. Before I could even notice, Vivian swiped the bowl off the table to have it corrected. I would have just picked the croutons out but Vivian's quick action was so refreshing. I think that's the first time I've seen such a fast reaction to correct my order. I really really appreciated that. We also got a little birthday surprise at the end of our meal. I'm glad I got to visit Scaddabush Oakville and I would definitely visit again in the future.

Loved the environment, servers were nice, food was great and a lovely date with the girlfriend, recommended for family and friends.

Had such an amazing experience! From the greeting at the front (two super nice girls, unfortunately didn't get their names) to the pasta and lovely dessert, and the amazing service that our waitress Sydney gave us, it was perfect! The food was great but what really set this restaurant apart from others was the service. We'll be back!

Fast and friendly service.

Sat on the patio. The waitress informed us of a time limit for eating.

The patio was decent and spaced out. We ordered appetizers only. 3 of the 4 arrived perfect, the meatballs arrived cold with a hair in the meatball.

Other than the meatballs the food was great. It is on the pricier side but the value seems to match the price.

Always a great experience at the Oakville location! We typically eat on the patio but indoors certainly feels safe. Definitely recommend!

Nice restaurant and good service. They have good outdoor dining. We had sunny spot and we had to ask to change our table. Don't miss to try the Sociables options in a menu especially the calamari and spinah & Artichoke Dip. I liked the chicken parmisan.

Was put on wait list just for my husband to call and find out that they gave our table away to someone else. We waited an hour past the given estimate they gave us. When seated the food was very good being something they never go wrong with. Service was good as well, but I felt like my server was all over the place and we couldn’t find them when we needed them

Excellent pasta and wonderful service. I love Italian food and it's been a very long time since I had good high quality fresh tasting pasta like this. The entire staff and the manager were phenomenal.

One of the best Italian food I had in town is from Scaddabush! Everything we ordered was so flavourful and authentic. I am always on a hunt to find good Italian pizza, and I think I found an amazing one here. Do order “Sophia” from Pizza menu and “San Marzano” from Pasta if you are a chicken person.

One of my favorites! A tremendous staff with excellent dishes. This spot is one of our go to’s.

There was an indoor limit of 10 people with a 2 hr wait time. Out door patio was 1/2hr wait time. So we choose outdoor. It was good for the first 3/4 hr then I felt my body was freezing. There was a heater but not enough output! The food was good. We froze though. Never again.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants. Food is always served on time even when busy. Quality is amazing. Prices are really convenient compared to other restaurants. Very cozy environment.

Went on a Tuesday night and it was pretty slow. Surprisingly it still took an excruciatingly long time for them to bring our food. Good atmosphere and lighting but not entirely sure it's worth the long wait

Recently visited this place. Decor is nice and people too.
But the food was below expectation; I understand Mediterranean food uses some olive oil but not a TON. My friend got some gnocchi, I got the pêne pasta, although portions are decent, the food itself was oily and tasteless! Even the bread on the side come literally in a plate filled with oil that tastes nothing like olive.disappointed!

We ordered this Pork chop and received this. As you can see the picture looks totally different than the plate. This was because they had ran out of Brussels sprouts. But if you look closely at the picture there was other vegetables too.the plate we received it was just really oil and onions. The dish tasted very sweet and like it was like drinking oil juice. After we had complained they were nice to make it up to us. But don’t be fooled most of the workers intentions are to keep us as costumers to further profit themselves. Hopefully next time the dish we ordered will have all the components that are in the picture.

Scaddabush was a surprise! Their cacio e pepe (though not basic) was delicious and very drool-worthy! If you order the mozzarella cheese, you get to watch them prepare it while getting to ask questions about the process. It was a lovely experience. Their decor is very well put together, cosy and homely. The staff were first rate and service was decently quick as well. If you're craving for a good and delicious portion of Italian food, go to Scaddabush.

Waited 40 minutes for an originally 20 minute wait, seated at a table (one of many) that was empty the entire duration of wait. Food was mediocre and music was too loud. The waiter we had was the only thing that saved this review and unfortunately we didn't get his name.

Wonderful experience at Scaddabush this past weekend for a birthday. The manager was extremely accommodating of the almost 20 guests. She even sent a glass of champagne and birthday slice with a sparkler on the house. The servers were also very friendly and kept checking in on us. Food was great quality and made as ordered. Would recommend again for a big gathering.

Tasty Italian cuisine, everything is done from scratch and you can even see how the dishes are put together. I ordered a drink that it was not what I expected and when I mentioned to the server that is not as sweet as I like, he offerd immediately to improve it for me. Great service! Great food!

I ordered a very expensive meal from this establishment. My 8.50 ceasar salad was the size of a side portion, had one clump of bacon and three croutons. The lettuce was wilted and the dressing was underwhelming. My pasta was not hot, barely warm but tasted good. Not 20.00 good (has no chicken or anything in it). I will definitely not be going back.

Food was good but the service wasn't the best! It was dinner but we were waiting for our food for so long some guy offered us $100.00 to open one of the jars on the table and eat a cucumber from it. Easiest $100.00 I've ever made.

Dined there with another couple last week. All was ok but my meal. Penne carbonara was a small plate for a whopping $19! Not worth more than $12 tops. Don't think I want to go back. You can judge a restaurant by the price of its pasta, (the moneymaker!)

So disappointed with the meal we had at this location. We ordered the snapper, at the server's suggestion. It was coated with something that was evidently meant to cover up the fact that the fish had been precooked and re-heated! At $23.95 pp this was absolutely unacceptable. Accompanying "roasted" vegetables were practically raw and tasteless.

When I asked for some bread, i was told that they don't really have bread! Really? At a restaurant that charges $25 per entree. We were given dry, stale garlic bread that had been reheated in a microwave and it was bestowed as if given as a favour!

I'll never eat here again and I recommend that you don't either! Yuck!

This was probably some of the worst service and food our party has ever had.
We were seated by the hostess, and waited about 20 minutes before we had to grab another server and ask for some water and if they could take our order. That server ended up getting our actual server who we had yet to meet.

Our food took FOREVER to show up, and half of it was cold. The food was so bland and tasted like a frozen dinner.
Two out of six people in our group vomitted once they got home.

It even took forever to get the bills! First and LAST time going here!

I've been to the Mississauga location before and it was excellent, but the Oakville location was quite different. While our server was warm and welcoming, she was gone for quite a while when we were waiting to pay for our bills. As for the meal itself, I ordered a chicken pesto dish. Compared to at least one other Italian restaurant in the area, the sauce was quite bland, and the pasta was sometimes stuck together in clumps, as if it it had been sitting in a strainer for a while, or as if it had been reheated. I have heard this complaint about the pasta before from others, and I am not likely to return.

The ambiance is pleasant and service is passable but at the end of the day any restaurant should be judged on the quality of its meals for the price point they charge, and that is where Scaddabush suffers. I dined with a friend visiting from very far out of town.

We ordered the fresh mozzarella plate with fig jam as an appetizer. The mozzarella was warm but tough and heavy, presented in a minimalist style on a wooden plank with several slices of stale bread. Not sure what management sees in this dish, but if I want to slice cheese myself and spread it on old bread with jam I have those things at home. This was a fail.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza for the table which was a disappointment to say the least. The pepperoni appeared to have been simply tossed on top of the pizza after it came out of the oven, since the pepperoni were very chewy and undercooked in the middle. This was essentially inedible and we sent it back to the kitchen to rest in peace in the rubbish bin, where it belonged. How an Italian restaurant can serve such an inferior pizza is beyond me.

We also each ordered an Italian burger. A better selection than the appetizer, however, the meat was nothing special for flavour and the burger's garnishes and presentation needs plenty of work. For $20 (with tax and tip) a burger should be a religious experience. This was a decent effort but you can get a better burger just about anywhere else in this price range.

To accompany our dinner we ordered a pricey Shiraz. As far as vintages go, I wouldn't keep it in my cellar. Furthermore, my glass was dirty or very dusty. I complained about its appearance. Our server did replace the glass with a cleaner one, but again, the offending wine glass never ought to have made it to our table in the first place. An upscale restaurant needs to pay attention to finer details and anticipate issues that may arise, like keeping all glasses well cleaned and ready for use.

The best part of the dinner was the desert and coffee. The espresso was what you'd expect from an Italian establishment and the chocolate toffee Jar cake was delectable.

Overall, Scaddabush is a pricier dining option in the west Mississauga/Oakville area and I'd expect exceptional meals with attentive service for the money charged. We both felt disappointed by the quality of the food we were served and would not return again. As this location sits adjacent to a large movie theatre, perhaps for others it might be an option to grab a coffee and a dessert after a film, as that was the only part of this dining experience I could recommend.

I visit the square one location weekly over four years because Scaddabish is our favorite Restaurant. This is the first time I visit the Winston Park location. The environment and decorations are very nice but the service was not. The servers are unfriendly and seems like super tired of their job. No energy at all. I asked for things but never came and had to repeat asking. Never check on us if everything was alright. Food took forever to arrive. The bread for Mazzarella was soft. Steak was so much smaller than regular. Everything including pasta, the portion was smaller than regular. Wonder if this location is trying to safe cost and reduce portion. The taste also need improvement. Overall not a good experience and disappointed. Really hope you won’t waste this good location.

Scaddabush is a great restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. Our server Bruno was so pleasant, knowledgable and fun. He checked on us regularly and made sure everyone was well taken care of. We had the calamari and mozzarella truffle to start and they're both excellent. They make their own mozzarella fresh every day and you can taste the different. You can even watch how they make the mozzarella (so cool!). We had pizzas for our entree and it was very good too. It was flavorful and fresh. We will definitely come back.

Absolutely love the food. I'll say that upfront because this is in no way a reflection of the food quality.

What was missing at this location was service. Walking aisles (to get to a washroom or the front door) were clogged with chatty servers, but it was nearly impossible to get anyone to tend to our table. We had a largish group (10 adults, 2 children), and were celebrating 3 birthdays. The total visit took nearly 3 hours and when we arrived we were one of the only seated guests.

Not sure what happened on this particular day, as all prior Scaddabush experiences have been top notch, but on this day and at this location we left severely disappointed.

First time going to Scaddabush! Went for a birthday - Server was extremely laid back, very good at her job. Being my first time I couldn't decide between 2-3 different dishes so I asked her opinion. Very impressed with her knowledge of the menu! All apps we ate were GREAT (see the empty plates) and perfect for sharing. As my main I decided on the newest menu item which was the gnocchi - came with sautéed spinach and peas, sauce was on the lighter side. I got the dinner size portion which was MORE than enough! Left there very satisfied (with yummy leftovers, which tasted awesome the next day). Definitely somewhere I would return to AND recommend!

Server had an attitude problem. Observed same server being rude to fellow staff.
Food was good. Won't be back. If I could find the receipt from dinner I would gladly post servers name.

The restaurant aesthetic is great and cozy. The staff was fantastic and attentive well also having some pretty great food. I'd definitely recommend the pizza.

This is the second time visiting this restaurant location. My friends rave about their food items and convinced me to come back (only to realize they were talking about Eastside Mario's). So I ordered the same food items as last time - Spaghetti Sorrentina $13.99 and a Soda water $3.99.

The waiter ran over to take the order without asking or upgrading food items. Then disappeared for 20 minutes to give out drinks. Disappeared again for 10 minutes to take my order. And only saw him when it was time to pay the bill.

The small size was quite large, overly sprinkled with baby arugala. There was absolutely no taste to this dish. I tried the large glob of mozzarella cheese, which had the consistency of a tough piece of Tofu with no flavour. The spaghetti was served luke warm, overcooked, and very oily. Their fancy corked bottle of ice water was nothing but tap water. The waiter could not be found.

As I was leaving, sitting at the bar, were four kids 8-10 years old because there were no seats available by the host's area. Not even the 3 host's said, "thank you, please come again". Very disappointing restaurant.

Recently went to this location of Scaddabush and thought I would share my experience here. The restaurant has a nice feel to it but it ends there. We were visiting to celebrate a friend's birthday and booked for a party of 12. We called in advance to make the reservations. When we reached at the restaurant, we found out that none of their draught beers were available as they were having some issue with the cooling. We were never informed about this over the phone.

We tried to get past the fact that more than half of the drinks on the menu are not available. Then the food we ordered was completely bland and dry. None of the dishes were good, and each one of us had trouble finishing our dishes. If you are looking to enjoy some Italian food, I would recommend to stay away from this place as they don't even know how to make pizza.

Okay, before I rant, I just need to say this: Scaddabush, you make a mean chicken parmesan! But equally mean is your surly (but very handsome) server who actually told me that he only had two hands, when I mentioned that there was a third dessert ordered. REALLY? I was the worst server ever and even I could carry 3 plates! When they were too heavy (or I was still a little drunk ️) I used a tray. Do you need trays? I’ll get you some.

I totally ignored the fact that we waited 25 minutes while looking at 5 open tables. Then I sat patiently for 45 minutes waiting for our food, even watching guests around us getting irked about it. But not me, because I’ve been there. I get it. You’re in the weeds, your buddies didn’t show up for work and now you have an 9 table section. Totally understand. But when I’m trying to make sure that you heard my 8 year old’s dessert order, please don’t tell me that you only have two ands, no matter how lovely they are.

Food was delish! Prices are reasonable! Music was fun and upbeat! My kid was even able to watch the cooks make mozzarella, which was super cool! But you, you devilishly handsome disaster, you may have ruined it for me.

I went there with a group of friends. The food was terrible. I got a chicken parmesan and it was cold and dry. Half of us didn't even finish their plates. Food quality was meh. Definitely not worth the price we pay. Even getting a reservation there is a headache. I called up in the morning to book a table for the same evening but I was put on hold and made to listen to their recorded msg for more than 3 min just for a mere reservation. This was my first time at scaddabush and unfortunately gonna be the last time as well. The one star here is for the service which was pleasant and quite fast.
