Big thanks to Nick Zheng! I brought the car in 2022 and Nick is keep helping me all the time after the purchase. He is fast in replying message and provide valuable suggestions. My car battery was dead during new year and Nick was helping me to get this issue fixed. That’s a long lasting help! Recommend Nick if you want to purchase Subaru, especially you are not very technical and need some tips in the future.

Would highly suggest looking at a different dealership when purchasing a vehicle.

We put a deposit for a Subaru Forrester in October of 2022, knowing there would be a 6 months wait because of the backlog of delays due to Covid and parts. We appreciated the transparency that our sales rep, Jose, mentioned to us up front about this but reassured us that this was the current industry norm.

We checked in with Jose a few times during the initial 6 months to ensure everything was on track and got very standard replies that it was still the case. However after 7 months, we still had not received any update on the vehicle or any potential delay so we had to consistently follow up for any new information. It was only then that we were informed that there would be an even longer delay but no definitive timeline could be given. When we questioned why weren't we informed about an additional delay at the 6 month mark or even when we checked in initially we were given no clear answer and asked to sympathize with the dealership because they don't get commission until they get the car.

It was a very bizarre response and throughout the course of the next few months, it was left to us to consistently check in on any status updates or changes with the vehicle delivery date. There was no proactive outreach giving us the heads up on when we may know any new details or information. It felt like only because we were chasing down the information that then a VIN number became available and that this process actually moved forward where we received our vehicle a year later from when we initially put our deposit down.

We recognize that delays and timing considerations are outside of the dealership and our reps control, however their communication or updates of these changes were never brought forward and we were in the dark a lot throughout this process.

They will adjust your mirrors, your seat and steering wheel position just to drive it around the building. I don't understand why all of that needs to be moved just to pull the vehicle around back (this happens every time I have brought my vehicle here). I'm glad you washed the outside of the car. It would be even better if you wiped the oil off the steering wheel from the tech as well. It's nice that you use those disposable floor liners, but how about removing them when finished. I don't think it's completely unreasonable to expect your vehicle back the way it was brought in.

Took my car for service. Bought it at another Subaru. They did a thorough job. Originally only planned to get my tires changed and an oil change. I did suspect I had some issues with the cabin filter but forgot about it. They caught it and I had it replaced.

They offer a 5% discount if you book your appointment online but you need to ask for it. They did refund me the differernce when I realized it wasn't applied.

Cost for changing tires was a little steep but everything else I had done was in line with what I expected.

Updated: the operation manager helped me to redo the oil change with new oil jug quickly. So I give 1 star back. Thanks for the team.

I am giving the review based on their unprofessional services. I brought a 2022 forester from here and did the first time services (schedule A) today, and bring my own motor oil (pennzoil ultra platinum 0w-20,5L jug) they put all into it. When I asked the service representative why the owner manual is saying 4.2L is the oil exchange volume. And they said 4.8L is for the forester, so put full jug is fine. Then I went back to my home and checked the oil level. Yes, it overfilled. The technician is unrespect his job and the service representative either doesn’t have the knowledge about their car or lies to me.
So sadly, I need to remove the extra motor oil myself.
The reason I gave 2 stars because they talk friendly.

Bought a used car a month ago not realizing the alignment and wheel balance were off during the test drive. Took it home and tried contacting Ston, the sales guy and no reply from the number of emails and texts to his phone. Tried the service center and all they would do is pick up the phone and drop it back down, hanging up on me. Multiple times. Infact, every time. The only person that I've been able to speak to is the operator who is always happy to pass me along.
They sold me a car that will drive into the ditch if I don't constantly steer into the pull. And now after 20 or more attempts to contact them, I'm leaving this review. Maybe it will prompt them to fix the problem.

Kudos to him and the sales manager who has been patient too while they held the car with deposit, when 2 other customers were ready to pay more. 5 to Nick. I am a returning customer to Scarboro Subaru and found the same excellent standard of service I had been used to previously.
From the young lady booking the service to service advisors Mr Whitehead and Darren Bissoon everyone was helpful and extremely professional. Darren explained what was to be done and why it was needed. The valet service is great. Highly recommended.

I had a good experience buying a car here, but sadly, a poor experience having it serviced at this location. My salesman had provided me with a half off credit for my first service. Reluctantly, I drove from Mississauga to have my car serviced, and called twice to ensure that this reduction was noted. Upon arrival, I was denied and was asked to reach out to the salesman. Eventually, the service advisor realized his mistake and granted me the agreed upon price. However, not before asking me to leave the building, enter the showroom and find the salesman. As a customer, I should not have to chase an offered price reduction.

UPDATE: Had to revisit to get a check engine light resolved on my BRZ this weekend. Very satisfied with the experience I had. I drove all the way from Mississauga for an appointment that took longer than anticipated. Thankfully, I was offered a courtesy vehicle to take me home while the work continued on my car. The issue was resolved, I was charged a fair price, and everything was explained clearly to me. Updating this to 5 stars.

First time did high km maintain at this location and the overall experience was absolutely 5 stars! Efficiency service with detailed oriented which the staff Kent walked me through how was the overall car condition and what service need to do with recommendation. No push and very patiently explaining and provided with reasonable price. They also very properly clean my car after service. GREAT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE!

I've been a long-term customer of Scarboro Subaru and Eddie never fails to impress me!

I moved out of Toronto and I figured I will give my local Subaru dealer (Subaru Hamilton) a shot. My local Subaru dealer didn't even have the appetite to deal with me after I called them out of their old-school sales tactic.

I phoned Eddie and told him what I wanted. Drove 100Km's to finalize the deal. Yes, it was that quick since Eddie know that I am straightforward.

I decided to get the 2021 STi and asked if I can get a white car without the big spoiler. Eddie was honest and told me that due to shortage, they cannot guarantee that they will be able to get me one.

I decided to take a gamble and made a deposit knowing that I will never get what I wanted.

Eddie went to Kareem and explained the challenge. Kareem graciously took it and decided to find a car for me even if he had to look for it outside Ontario! It took them few weeks to find one and ship it to their lot but I was amazed by all their efforts! THANK YOU, KAREEM! You and Eddie made me feel valued!

I strongly recommend this dealer and I encourage everyone to bring their business here!

Note: For anyone who has doubts about this review, You can see my old post which indicates that this is legit! Yes, they are not perfect BUT, they strive to improve their service.they listen, take time to learn from the negative experience, and turn it around. I can vouch for it!

This is the best service department of dealerships I ever met. Front desk representatives are very friendly and professional. They patiently listen to my description of the symptom and effectively identify the possible root causes of the issue. They would never try to charge customer any service that is not mandatory. I knew I was in for some hefty costs when my Outback started spurting oil like I'd sliced a jugular, but Kent, Shameer and the Scarboro Subaru Team did a good job of softening the blow. Since it was an "engine-out" repair we worked through all of the other wear-items (clutch, water pump, timing belt) that would be coming due shortly and got the car sorted in a timely fashion.

I called them in the morning to reschedule my appointment because my car was not moving. They were very accommodating. I had the car towed to the location and I received a call few hours telling me that the problem was because of one of the recalls on the vehicle and they fixed it, together with the other recalls, at no extra charge. I took my car at the end of the day, washed as well! Great guys, very honest and accommodating, and most important, fast.

Waste of time, tried to test drive, booked on Thursday to test drive on Monday. Came in on Monday to tell us that they sold it on Saturday, that we had to order in first. A conversation that could've been a 5 mins phone call. Not a single email or notice prior.

I brought my car here after I hit a curb that ruined my right wheel and everything connected to it, they quoted me almost $2000, I agreed over the phone and the second morning i bought a used rim and brought it to them. The front desk dude was very unhappy about it and told me that he will charge me extra $100 to swap the tire over the rim I brought, and when I questioned that price he said it will be $80 and then $60. When I finally got the bill I found out they charged me almost $100 for restocking fee for the rim that they "ordered" for me. That is so ridiculous, I never have seen the wheel, never paid for it, no paperwork, I brought my own wheel the very next morning to them and the rest of part arrived days later. I just think it's so unfair to pay for this ridiculous restocking fee for sth I never actually bought. Stay away from the service department that's my honest suggestion.

Update
Operations manager from Scarboro Subaru called and accepted the human error whil fixing the recall. It was a great step and openly accepting the situation. I welcome their customer oriented conversation and never felt they were justifying their mistake.

Scarboro Subaru Service Center changed my opinion on whole.
Just got my Crosstrek serviced here for oil change and brake light recall, i ended up blocking traffic in Toronto City as my all brakes got jammed in middle of busy street. And all lights in dash are ON.
These people are so ignorant and do things so carelessly. And the worst part, the service center never responds to phone calls or voice messages.
Now i am getting my car towed.
I had to take my son for a competition which i missed. My worst part in the story.
Now i have to think back on plan my plan to get Ascent.

Previous experience.
Bought my second vehicle from Nic at Scarboro Subaru. As always, I received​best customer service. Sal served me well in his area.
Overall i am impressed and will be visiting them for my next car when i am ready.

My first and last time at Scarboro Subaru and would STRONGLY recommend to take your business elsewhere unless you like to be charged for services you dont receive. I had made an appointment at Scarboro Subaru for May 22,2019, because it was the only Subaru dealership able to take my car in for service within a week when I called to book. I made an appointment for a Service type B for my 2016 wrx, aswell as a summer/winter tire swap, tire balance and alignment. I showed up at 11 a.m, handed my key over and was told it would be up to a three hour wait. Five hours go by and I finally see my car being parked in the front of the dealership. I head to the service desk thinking I'm all set and the gentlemen goes to the back to see if he can find the paper work. He comes back and says it still needs an alignment and it would be under another hour. It is now passed 4 p.m meanwhile i have to be at work for 6 p.m. All the way at the opposite end of the city in rush hour, during construction season, so I decided to skip the alignment and head out. 10 more minutes go by then the service rep gets the invoice, I skim through it and see the alignment charge on their, he tells me to look at the overall price, then takes 10 percent off entire bill (for the long wait) which was over $600.00 and tells me that the alignment was done, when in fact I watched it NOT move from the spot where the technician parked it. So I was charged half the price for a service I didnt get (geez thanks alot)

We recently bought a 2019 Subaru Outback at this dealership. Mr. Bo Ma was our sales representative and he handled our purchase quickly and professionally. We offered a fair price for the car that Bo accepted immediately without fuss. There was no pressure and no haggling. Bo answered all our questions and helped us through the process. The car was delivered in a few days as promised.

The business manager, Mr. John Manis was also helpful and professional, and did not try to "upsell" us as many dealers do. He simply explained the options and left it to us.

All in all a very satisfactory experience. We would recommend Mr. Ma and this dealership highly.

We went to another Subaru dealership before contacting Scarboro Subaru and was immediately impressed with difference in customer service we received. You don't experience the same high pressure selling tactics from Scarboro Subaru and you feel that they were willing to negotiate in good faith rather than playing mind games. We ended up purchasing a 2019 Subaru Forester plus extended warranty from Scarboro Subaru because of the sales experience. Our sales consultant Stone was amazing. Due to the colour we wanted, he informed us upfront that we had to wait 2-3 months for our car to arrive. Stone provided us monthly delivery updates and was incredibility accommodating and efficient when our car finally arrived. We did all the paperwork, car inspection and reviewed all the feature of the car with Stone in under 45 minutes. This was our first Subaru vehicle having owed Acura, Honda and Toyota's before and it was one of the best car purchasing experience we have ever had.

When I arrived for the service I was told 2 hours
Vehicle completed after 45 minutes; however, secretary made me wait another 30 minutes for ‘paperwork’ before I could claim my vehicle.
Unacceptable!

Let me tell this.these guys are amazing. My car broke down while I was going to a job interview and I parked in their parking lot. Even I wasn't their customer I was helped as much possible (without infering with their job) by one of their service employees by providing me with some necessary tools.
Thanks to them I'm a happy employee of the company I had interview that day.

Horrible service dept. I asked for specific work to be done and only half of it was performed when picking up the vehicle. I emailed them and still did not get a reply. Guess I won’t be bringing me vehicle again. If they can’t follow simple request, how am I supposed to trust them.

My salesman Bo Ma and his manager John Manis were very helpful in this big purchase. Instead of waiting for a months long special-order, they found the right car almost immediately.
