Please extend weekday hours to at least midnight. Weekends were recently extended 2 hours to 6pm. It would make so much difference for those finishing work late. Thank you.

Careful if you are going to the swimming pool on weekends. There're always some unruly kids. They were disruptive and enjoyed hitting people and mimicking others' swimming actions. It can be quite distracting and takes away from the otherwise positive experience.

Been a member since it opened in January 1990; it's the main reason I never left the n'hood I grew up in. It's got everything I need to stay fit and is friendly day in & day out. One of those constant joys in life.

Front desk client "lack" of service.they seldom answer the phone.and then if it is "ever" picked up they hang up on you if they do not know the answer to a "simple" inquiry.also the voice message at the start of call will say to call the general head office phone number instead which is just as bad.no one picking up.you can stay at the same number in the que for hours.general manager Franca D'Angelo does not respond to concerns and blocks complaints.front desk staff need more training and oversight and a supervisor or manager should always be available.not even picking up the phone is as low as it can go for an organization this size that is suppose to provide support to the public and its clients.problem never seems to get fixed.a lot of poor reviews on this for the same issues.

We bought membership for Family Leisure swimming, after one week the family pool went out of service and whenever anyone ask the employees regarding this they answered very rudely. They tried to accommodate all the families with little kids in a tiny area of Lane swimming, it was like all the families with little kids had barely space for only standing, forgot about swimming. The staffs are extremely rude and they don’t care or acknowledged at all for this inconvenience. They even don’t know when it will get fixed.

They have so many activities to do all at one place. Today I’ve tried badminton, very well maintained with the level of players.

I love it. I wish they had more space in the changebroome buy adding seats for those who need them.

Make sure you ask questions when signing up for a membership with YMCA - they will leave a lot of information out. For instance, if you sign up for a membership mid or end of a month you are paying for the month it falls in. So if you happen to come in on Jan 30 you are paying for that day and the 31st and not for a full 4 weeks/ month of what you’re supposed to be getting.

Please inform guests of this. I signed up and canceled my membership all within 30 days and I got charged twice because I had signed up at the end of a month.

I don’t like this system; wouldn’t it make sense to match the anniversary date to the day we sign up so we are getting what we paid for?

While I'm on the phone calling these clowns, I thought I'd use my time to leave this review.

Is there anyone at the reception ever? No one picks up the phone EVER! I waited for 1 hour or more and yet no one picked up the phone.

Rude members I told a someone a joke about something and this individual walked up to me and called me out, here’s my message to you it’s just a joke brah get over if you don’t like this environment then go to a different gym

There's this one Asian women at the front desk whose absolutely horrible. Terrible experience.

We booked for family swim (covid policy) & parked there at 2: 34pm. We registered in (free for first time). Safety Guard said we're 15 mins late so he let other people take our spot. Why did I call in advance for? Toronto is a big city there's always traffic. So we stayed in the swimming lane area. So boring! Practically nothing there for pool area. PLUS we had to get out of pool 10 mins early because "last time people didn't get out on time" And we deal with that problem!? ! I don't recommend this pool for family. We won't be back there, I'm sure there's better places for swimming.

Great staff, just wish they upgraded machines and equipment over the pass 2 years with the lock down. There isn’t much up to date pieces of equipment and the equipment ratio is odd for example (15 treadmills, 1 stair master, and 4 ellipticals.) most gyms have a good balance of all equipment. The staff is what keeps me there, hopefully they will upgrade soon.

I have been a member to this location for about 6 months and so far I am enjoying the experience.
I have had the pleasure to attend aquafit classes with Prashanth, he is a very supportive and professional coach.
His classes are fun and he ensures the attendees are safe.
I strongly believe that Prashanth is a great asset to YMCA.

Staff are always on-point. Primary location for basketball meet-ups with the guys. Very busy gym most of the time. Top floor track is pretty cool as well.

Rude staff. After calling them ask how does the program go, their attitude stop me to be thire member. As a neighbour, it is really sad to have them in our community. I won't go there and I won't tell any of my friends and my neighbours go there. Thier negative work attiude tell me that the staff are not friendly people, if any emergency happend on you, they will not help you perfessionally.good luck for those peopel paid and become thier member

Need more professional and trained staff. Also needs less kids running around in the adult working out space. This is the reason I cancelled my membership.

Nice facility, friendly staff and generally well run. A few concerns:
1.the requirement to cancel in person is ridiculous in the 21st century. I travel a lot and don’t always know if I’m going to be in the same place for more than a few months at a time. Flexibility is cancelling like over the phone would be nice
2. Weekly/bi-weekly membership options should be considered

SO THIS PLACE IS A LITTLE BIT TOO MINIMAL. THE STAFF HERE ARE THE WORST THOUGH. THEY ACT LIKE THEY ARE THESE GOOD PEOPLE, BUT THEY ARE EXTREMELY RUDE. THEY ARE STRAIGHT TRASH. I TOOK THE BRONZE COURSES AND THEY WERE BAD TO ME.

THEY WILL GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO TREAT YOU BAD.

Went to go check out the gym. Seemed like a pretty old place but it wasnt too bad. The problem was, I went to use the shower after playing basketball for 2 hours and the showers are completely open. Not only that, theres no place to hang your stuff by the shower. I am not keeping my valuables in the lockers, its too risky. I did see 2 stalls with curtains, one was in use and the other was for people with special needs. If there was more stalls with curtains, I must have missed them. I dont see myself paying $60 a month to shower amongst other naked people (prison style) in 2020 lol. I may just end up going back to goodlife (as usual). Wish I didnt need to = (

Extension 500 is to talk to the desk. Trust me you won't get through but this might help. Worst place ever. Cancelling my gym membership today.

A great place to spend some exercise time for whole family. Sometimes it gets over crowded but love the environment and the very friendly staffs.

Good facility but very expensive for what you get. The clientele looks a bit sketchy as well. I got quite a few dirty looks from both female & males at this location. Some areas could use a refresh as well.

This one employee kept on laughing on me when I was working out and followed me everywhere, it made me very uncomfortable he was smiling the whole time. Even after I went to stc the guy had break or something and he followed me the whole time. Never going to go back ever. Which I could put zero stars

Mr Khaled at employment services patiently answered all our queries giving us detailed instructions along with valuable advice.
Staff at the help desk were very kind too.

Despite being one year underage for the free trial, the employees were nice as to let me in for free because of the mishaps.

First thing i want to say is that this neighborhood is one of the most ghetto place I have ever been to. The reason for this is because most of the people that go here are despicable, evil, un-civil humans that i have had the misfortune to encounter honestly calling them ''human'' is a stretch they act like apes. If you turn your back for a second expect to get robbed or assaulted and the worst thing is that it is the youth that are causing the problems they act like they have no parents and i believe that it is the rap music that is teaching this type of behavior for example they say thing like ''F the police''. Just so people know it is also poverty that sparks crime thanks Justin Trudeau how about instead of thinking about other country's why don't you look at your own. I got robed for swimming goggles really? These kids cant go to the dollar store and buy some. So please come if you like getting robbed also final message i would give a zero star if i could.

It’s great place, worth the price. Lots of things there to do for kids and adults. Highly recommended by me

Poor poor poor service staff is not friendly.pool is busy all time with lessons no free access for anything though you have expensive membership.when I came for inquire front desk staff gave wrong information about swimming classes and other activities.my son is 2/1 years old and they said he can join our karate classes and family swimming at any time but when I came to use pool every time schedule was changed and been told to not use pool until 8: 30pm both pool are occupied for lessons then why are paying fee for membership if we can not get any facilities also lift services you can't use without staff help or code.world gym and panam is 100 times better then YMCA I don't want to give even one star

Clean and well managed gym. The manager is well understanding and amazing. The toilets are cleaned well and doesn't look like a dumpster that is World Gym. Hence, the reason why I am going to get the membership here than at World Gym. The only downside is that it doesn't have a high number of equipment for its gym section in the basement. That isn't to say it doesn't have everything you need, cause I would be lying. It does have all the equipment you need to workout. Otherwise, good place to come!

These guys spams emails almost every freaking day and tells you to sign in for “free” for two weeks. Which is great at first until you go there and be told that if you look at the email AT THE SMALLEST fonts it tells you have to be above 22 years old to get the promotion. Me and my friends planned to go last week and we were all under 22 so what happened? Absolutely nothing. Added to insult is they keep sending you all their daily activities in the following day.

My advice, next time you send and SPAM emails be sure to put the AGE RESTRICTION beside the “FREE” 2 week thing. I’m pretty sure me and my friends aren’t the only ones who are upset about this.

Very bad customer service. They never tell you when the classes are cancelled. When scheduled change no one tells you what is the new time and venue. They Never pick up the phone before the automated messages plays at least 3 times in a row without ringing. If someone picks up they all will tell different processes everytime. They misguided rather than providing customer service. I will never recommend this place for anyone to enroll their children. It is a complete waste of time and money for the parents. If there was a negative rating available I would certainly use that instead of 1 star.
