Highly recommend Scholars if you are looking to help your child close any educational gaps or advance ahead. Monisha has been working with our youngest Son for over a couple of months, and the patience, care, and approach she has taken has made a world of a difference. Our Son has a new found confidence and is eager to tackle his homework now and is showing more independence each day at school and at home in getting his work done. The support my children are getting for their homework and areas needed for improvement has blown my mind. I am so pleased with all the tutors and my children always come out feeling confident and happy. Makes a huge difference when you don’t have to drag your child to something they don’t want to do. All 3 of my children plan their homework around their tutoring days which alleviates pressure and stress in the home. If you’re contemplating sending your child, don’t! It’s worth every penny.

My son loves scholars! He has been attending Scholars for over a year, attended their March break camp and is currently enrolled in their summer camp as well. Monisha and her staff are amazing and as many have previously mentioned very accommodating. My sons program is tailored to his individual needs and he feels great after his one on one sessions. I highly recommend Scholars Pickering for any child requiring additional support in reading, writing & math.

I can’t say enough good things about Scholars of Pickering and the director Monisha! They take the time to assess the student and fill in any gaps that the school curriculum may be missing or they can work with your child’s teacher to develop a plan in unison. Having this extra one on one support has ensured that my son is one step ahead and confident going into the next grade. In addition to the school curriculum the summer camp program has been so engaging and fun, my son never wants to leave at the end of the day. Monisha is kind and welcoming, treating you like family and is very accommodating in finding times that suit your personal schedule. I highly recommend this place.

Our daughter, due to the pandemic and changing schools from French immersion back to English Public School, was extremely behind in her reading and writing. Scholars offered her a great amount of help to get her from a grade 1 level reading/writing (while she was in grade 3) up to where she now is feeling very comfortable in her grade 4 class. I think alot of it was confidence. They offered her a safe, professional, and well structured environment to bring about the confidence that brought her reading/writing skills along. We were extremely happy from the beginning when she was willing and wanting to be there. Thank you to Monisha, and the Scholars team. They did a great job.

My child attended tutoring sessions at the Pickering Scholars and I found that all the tutors were very knowledgeable and excellent teachers. The Scholars Director was very accommodating and clear about all tutoring details. I would not hestitate to continue to use Pickering Scholars in the future.

My son has been coming to Scholars for grade 2 French tutoring. He has been happy with his tutor and seems more interested in speaking French.

Daughter was straight D now straight A! Recommend scholars for a local companionship for your kids great service, friendly people and great rewards you can use from points you earn per session. This particular tutoring place is my personal favorite

I have sent multiple emails inquiring about the program and no one has contacted me or responded after week. Aweful customer service! Don't bother maybe Kumom?

New owners do not care to work with people and throw new tutors at people without understanding your child's needs. Go somewhere else. Not worth it.

New owners are so understanding and accommodating! Love this place for my 7 year old and 12 year old! Love it so much, i would recommend it to everyone!

Wonderful facility and excellent staff. With schools shut down since March break the staff at Scholars Education Centre has help my son be ready for the next school year and stay focused. He has excelled in reading and writing over the last few months and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Great instructors who are friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I am recommending them to other parents who want their kids to get a leg up on their studies.

They have very friendly and knowledgeable staff who take the time to make sure the kids understand the material. The center is also very accommodating during COVID with their accessible online classes and small class sizes. I am very impressed!

My kids go there after school and have actually began enjoying doing their homework. They have trained teachers that know the curriculum and spend the time with my kids to help them understand and build a solid foundation for high school and university.
