Science Hill Country Club

Very enjoyable course to play. Wide-open fairways, playable roughs, not too many water hazards. Some longer par 5s, and quite a few birdie-opportunity par 4s. Greens and fairways are very-well maintained. Nestled in the rolling countryside and fertile farmland of nearby St. Marys.

Once again made the trip from kitchener 7 times this year -always a pleasure to play this course-always in great shape from tee to green and even though the price went up this year still a good deal for the quality of course you are playing-course was sold at the end of last year but they retained jason as the course superintendent/greenskeeper (best move they made) and he has maintained the outstanding conditions under new ownership-if the course was closer to kitchener would consider a membership but cant wait to get back to play science hill in 2024

Great course my favorite now. Not corporate owned, and it shows with how it is maintained. Crew I think care.
Fun course, for less experienced golfers.

The course was in great shape and a reasonable cost. The staff was very welcoming. The course has wide enough fairways and rough with some bunkers and water in places to add some subtle challenges. Unfortunately, the bunkers are beach sand and when wet are challenging to hit a decent shot out onto the green. It is a quiet, serene 18 holes in a country setting outside St. Mary's Ontario with mild elevation changes. Most golfers without mobility issues could walk it. The golfer who hits in 90's and 100's will find it a lovely challenge, whereas the golfer hitting in the 80's or less will allow you to try to score well with pars and birdies. The greens are well maintained with undulations that will challenge your putting skills.

Second time playing this course. It seems to be under new ownership much better experience. The course is fun and challenging.

Forgiving course for beginners with good variety in hole length and green topography. Seniors discount for 60+.
