People at the bank have been very helpful and responsive. Visited on a weekday so didn't have to wait at all.

Best Scotiabank branch in the area. Service is always fast, friendly, and efficient. Bank Managers are great and so are the staff. Whenever I need to get something done urgently, this is the go-to branch

Had the most tensed day because the staff is inconsiderate. I tried to deposit money into my account and it didn’t go through or come out. It was lost in the machine somehow. I got really panicked. Called the customer service and they said only the branch can do something. I went there next morning. The girl at the desk tried to address my concern but she wasn’t able to fix it. There was this other guy she called for help. He was kinda rude and had that I don’t care about your money or account attitude. He blatantly said he cannot help me, he can ask for tech help and they might be able to come next day or so. I panicked because I had few urgent payments to be made and it cannot wait whatsoever. I tried to convey that to this guy but he was like when the tech is available they will come and if there is money we will call. It’s my hard earned money which I wanted to use right away. If it’s stuck in your machine it’s your fault. The least thing you could’ve done is assuring me to sort things out quickly and efficiently.

Today, i went to scotiabank to open my account, and i had such a wonderful experience with Paris, I dont know whether it is her name or not.she was so nice and treated us so friendly and kindly as well. It was her last day of work but she just made the first impression of Scotiabank to me so fantastic!

Just terrible. Unhelpful, incompetent and rude staff.for months now i’ve had an issue with my e-transfer and they wasted my time for days either on the phone or at the branch and finally the was never resolved

they also provided me with false information in many occasions.the manager of the branch is hardly available to take calls and never returned calls either

and many more disappointments…

The financial advisor I dealt with is KRISTINE PARK. Her level of customer service was so bad, so non-existent that I had to transfer out my home branch to another location.

Dealing with Scotia bank in general has been a pretty terrible experience, its like pulling teeth to get something done or fixed on their end. But asking Kristine to follow up on why things aren't done/fixed has been especially worse. Over a period of 3 months and numerous follow ups, her response time started every few days (which is bad to begin with), then when its still not fixed, she just stopped answering. Its like she made zero efforts to try to solve the issue or follow up with the appropriate department to escalate the situation.

I almost have respect for how little effort they put into the 1 thing they're supposed to do.

I have always had a positive experience with Scotia. Want to give a huge shout out to Corrine Yong, Branch Manager. She has been very helpful and efficient in providing the required information. As a customer it gives me a sense of comfort and reassurance that I will get a response to my email with super efficiency and professionalism. Thanks Corrine for all you help. I had my credit card and account set up here. The person helping me was very nice and patiently explaining everything to me.

This is my main branch, and as far as most basic banking needs, they get the job done. Staff on average are older than others, probably because of somewhat remote location - doesn't have that young professional bank feel with many hip youngsters.

For bigger bank needs, I recommend driving over further east or wherever you're going to bigger branches, service is not rushed and often bottle-necked at peak hours.

Literally the worst bank branch period I have ever been to. Only one teller working with too many people to count in line, asked me to wait for a financial advisor and I waited over an hour, ended up receiving no service so I left. Please take your bank needs elsewhere.

I use this branch very often, except the business hours are so inconvenience, else is quit OK for me.the staff is efficient the rest are is cozy.

I had an issue with credit card. I explained 3 times to the lady. She still did not get our point. Her name is Maryam. She was asking same thing again and again which was not making any sense. If you are not getting the point what customer is concerned about there is no point. Client before me had the same problem and lady had to call her manager. There is no point to go this branch. Bad customer service have seen ever before.

I recently visited this bank to make a deposit. I deposited a cheque at the teller because, it was a cheque in American funds. This type of transaction cannot be done at a traditional bank machine. The teller seemed somewhat confused on how to deposit this type of cheque. She then called over a colleague to help her. With my account information opened on her computer her and her colleague began to speak a foreign language in front of me. I had no idea what they were discussing and what they were saying about my bank account. Quite frankly that made me feel very uncomfortable and very insecure and raised red flags in my head. The only language a person should be speaking in front of other customers is English. On Monday I am going to file a formal complaint about this branch. When you’re dealing with somebody’s livelihood which is their money in their account you should feel 100% confident that the person you’re dealing with knows what they’re doing and communicate with you and their colleagues around you in a language that you understand.
