Mrs. Nurcan Satilmis have helped me with line of credit at this location. Very knowledgeable, polite and professional!

Also, a few months earlier Ms. Kay helped me too at this branch; she is also very helpful! Thank you!

Nurcan Satilmis is best financial advisor. I went there to open my bank account. She is very polite and professional for her work. It’s very easy for me to feel comfortable in bank just because she is very nice 10/10.

My account was closed do to inactivity. After 3 calls and an email review your only contact about this issue as a bank was one email on March 31st. My account was closed with no attempt to contact me. I've been with this location for years. LOTS OF YEARS. After my account was closed customer service (WONDERFUL LADY ACTUALLY TRIED TO EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED.) transfered me directly to the branch. I spoke with the assistant manager amir. I was spoken to and treated completely inhuman. My frustrations were ignored with a its not our problem attitude. I was accused, not asked about why my account was inactive. Then disregaured immediately when I got upset. I didn't swear I didn't understand. He hung up on me, I was not rude to him I was frustrated and didn't understand. He didn't have time for a long time customer. Sorry im not valuable to you but I need an account to live in society. Instead of caring about your job u hung up on me. I left a message and welcome a call back. I left a complaint with customer service, i was upset enough to cry, lots of people have lost money and opportunity during the pandemic. The second lady was super caring and made me feel so much better about scotia as a whole, I won't just look at this one interaction. I did leave u a voice mail I have every reason to be upset at your disgusting behavior. Instead of blaming things like the cra, offer solutions. Dont work with the general public if your going to mistreat people. You should be fired. I never say that about people. You actually made me feel this way.

ATMs closed from 6pm-7am due to covid, yet other locations are open all the time, don't know why they're only doing this.

I went into the branch to get a replacement card and asked for my online banking to be reactivated. I could not set up online banking initially when I first opened the account with Scotiabank, called the call centre for it to be resetted  prior to this but had no success. I gave up but since I was already in the branch I wanted to take advantage of the time. Christina issued me a new card and activated it quickly and effectively. I explained the situation with Christina and she was determined to help me out, we did it together with her computer, yet again technical glitches got in the way. Christina was very patient, and went out of her way to help me get my online banking up and running. She was not going to let me walk out of the branch without it. After several phone calls with the call centre and waiting for 1.5 hour, she was able to set it up. Very appreciative for her efforts. After having a bad experience with another rep from a different branch, I am glad to have met her and that a teller like her still exist, who provides exceptional customer service and goes out of their way to help their customer. THANK YOU CHRISTINA!

One of the worst branch that I have ever dealt with. All the illiterate and useless people work were. Have no clue how to deal with clients.

I waited for 1hour to get change for my business.they were very rude. There was no one waiting outside to explain where people should line up for business lines or personal lines. They were not apologetic and they showed no empathy to all the people waiting outside. They weren't organized and there were some seniors that really needed assistance sooner than this. If I could leave zero stars I would.

It was a big struggle to try and speak to someone on the phone and the wait could be 15 to 30mins (if lucky).

I was trying to resolve an issue for weeks and was unsuccessful. Once I was able to contact them, I was impressed by the personalized service that was provided by one of their customer services team member (Ms. Vaibhavi) who did a fantastic job in following up with my request until it was fully resolved. She was able to regain my confidence in Scotiabank. My recommendation is to contact the branch via email rather than phone as chances of getting a response is higher.

I had a wire transaction in July that they held for me to confirm, after calling this branch several times and I even came to the branch IN PERSON. I thought I claimed that transaction but its already August and for some reason they still held the transaction. Sorry for my broken English but great job everyone!

Now I'm having serious problems with Scotiabank, this Sunday that just passed, I received a "Unusual activity" on my account and I was on the phone with Customer service, and I pleaded with them to take it off, but they could not do it, I put in my card in the machine and it just took my card without warning, I went to the bank Sheppard and finch near my work and I explained my situation and they took over an hour on my work schedule for nothing, an hour wasted, so I emailed my home branch yesterday and I am very upset with them, this is a urgent matter, I need my debit card ASAP! Plus the hours are impossible for me to get to my Branch, Scotiabank needs to see this matter like it's a life or death situation, so whoever sees this, this is not a joke.

Possibly the WORST experience with Scotiabank I've ever had - even more so than the Scarborough Town Centre location. The elderly middle-eastern, bank teller, Manthi (?), essentially lied upfront to my face and provided me with misinformation. Attempting to close out my account and do a draft transfer to my main financial institution, she denied access and requested for me to go directly to my home branch - to which she provided me with 2 different locations. Despite provided 4 pieces of identification, all of which contained my signature, as well as my ability to log onto the mobile app - she told me that I would have to head to my main branch. This perhaps was made worse by the reinforced comments of her associated - a young lady who essentially said the exact thing. When I spoke with customer service immediately following, as well as one of the managers for the Fraud Department, they assured me that I should have been able to close out my account at ANY branch without ANY issues. I'm definitely not impressed with the service - and needless to say, once I'm able to fully close out the account, I'll be staying as far away as possible from Scotiabank.

I was there today for deposit my cheque. The teller not have name tag on. They supervisor Name Vee, were very rush and never helped me. Very very bad customer service. I never get this kind of experience in Scotia Bank. The teller could not able to understand me. And I ask some she did something else. I ask her to get me the print out for the transition I didn't. The teller and Vee don't want to give me the slip. I have not got any confirmation about what did I did at the bank.

Incompetent staff/management. I have been a client here for years and had recently run an application through that I would get a response from within a week. It has now been a month, 2 service requests, and the branch manager always goes through voicemail. Honestly the worst banking experience due to some incompetent staff at this location. Would not recommend for any service enquiry.

Was a victim of fraud, bank did nothing but accuse me of stealing the money. Not only was I upset because $4000 was taken from me, but I was humiliated because I had to go back and pay for it out of my own pocket. I'm a student and that was supposed to be for school. In addition, the teller and manager did not provide me with good customer service. I was treated like a criminal the entire time. Worst customer service. No support for their customers what so ever. The slogan, "you're richer than you think" should actually be "you're poorer than you think".

Horrible Customer Service. Teller was rude and could't solve my issue, I had to go to another branch where problem was resolved within minutes. Next time I'll drive the extra blocks.

The branch parking lot is too difficult to access. The ppl is ok. Some of them, tho.

Worst branch ever. I came for a help and nobody was curious and caring, the strangest part is even the branch manager did not care about my concern. His name is Mr. Takkar and he do not fit that management role. The branch manager is there for helping the customers but he did even care to help me. This is the most disgusting branch in canada I would say. Please people do not go to this branch if you have any serious concerns because I don't want you guys to waste your precious time. Scotiabank is my first bank that I started in Canada and this will be my last. Scoatiabank should focus on hiring some excellent professionals who knows what they are doing. Worst, rude, unprofessional, ill mannered, impolite and all these comments go the manager Takkar or thakur or whatever his name is.

I had to rush to this local because Scotiabank has inconvenience hours. Was greeted with a long line and a bank that needs to be renovated
