There should be a provision to write a review with out giving a star. The low rating of this branch is absolutely justified. Actually it’s just not the branch but Scotia bank in general. I should not say that it’s the first and last time because no one knows about the future but if I have an option, Scotia is out.

I did not encounter any problems with customer service until this lady (Manpreet Kaur credit card advisor) began inserting herself into my personal financial matters. She asked me what was wrong with me and asking personal questions about my transactions which was none of her business. I was so humiliated that I could not even take a stand for myself on the spot. I was on the verge of crying. Imagine questioning someone who is feeling depressed about the reasons behind their distress due to a misguided financial decision, that is beyond unprofessional. She needs to be fired from her job as she broke 2/6 principles of the CUSTOMER SERVICE CODE OF CONDUCT which is "Respect confidentiality, and protect the integrity and security of assets, communications, information and transactions" and "treat everyone fairly, equitably and professionally".

The tellers were not helpful at all and were very rude too. The cheque takes 3 business days to clear, but they kept saying it takes 5 business days

The staff is very egoistic and not helpful at all. They are very rude and will never get your work done! Very disappointing experience from this Scotia branch! Would definitely planning to switch to another bank after these two consecutive experiences of mine here. Would not recommend this branch at all!

I went there to apply for a credit card and Shweta explained everything about all the cards in a very understandable manner. She was very helpful and friendly. My experience was very smooth.

Worst decision to come to this bank! Never any availabilities to meet with the advisores at this branch! And they gave me a constant run around for the same problem which has still not yet been resolved.thank god i finally changed banks

Very bad experience and What people said they lie every time Fake promise

I came on March 28 th 2023 and I asked for help one of the girl her name is Harpreet she told me Let me check something with other co-worker her name is Harneet and than Harpreet came back to me She said Harneet gonna call you back in 1-2 days And I never got call even I tried to call 4-5 time no answer I left 2 vociemail no reply

So why you guys always said You get call from someone and nothing happended it is better to say No we don't want to help any customer

Say clearly on face of cuatomers We just want to sit in front of computer and don't want to help very BAD AND POOR EXPERIENCE

Honestly the worst branch anywhere. As a Tangerine client, I rely upon Scotiabank ATMs and they never ever work. Can’t deposit, can’t withdraw, Machines reject bills that other locations take and worst of all the time. I got to go to the Highway 27 location to just accomplish my banking needs. May have to switch to Simplii if this keeps up. Get it together!

Worst customer service. Branch manager is not much help either. There own employees not sure about their policies how are customers suppose to know. Every teller follow different policy. They really need to review their policies with employees so customers not getting different answer every time we go to bank for same thing. Very frustrating and wastage of time going to this location.

I booked an over the phone appointment 1 month prior to the appointment date just for no one to reach me at my phone number during the time of my appointment. I then called the branch to be sitting on hold for over an hour, just to be asked to reschedule the appointment (mind you there is very little availability unless u want to wait month (s) for your appointment) since the representative didn’t know why I hadn’t received a call. The representative was great but I don’t understand why the financial advisor hadn’t reached out to me in the first place.

Awesome service. I must say they really take care of their people well! I had an urgent WIRE transfer to be done to my home country. Then LEAH took the task and she got it done almost in 1 business day when the guidelines mentioned 3 business days. I just appreciate her efforts and the professionalism she has towards her work. She took care of me and my family. I really recommend her service to all.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. The lack of service this branch provides is ridiculous, regardless of many people working there at once. The employees tend to be chatting with each other rather than to their customers. I have never seen such bad customer service in my life. I've been with scotia bank for quite some time now and seeing this service is definitely making me want to transfer to another branch and potentially a new bank all together. I'm so disappointed. Even with all the poor reviews I've read, no effort has been taken into making changes. Save yourself the time and go to a different branch or perhaps even a different bank.

Worst experience in this scotiabank branch. I already booked an appointment online when I went there, they told me there is no one to serve you. After waiting for 30 minutes, I met with Branch Manager and he also not help me in extending my credit card limit. Not recommended this place for visiting.

They have the worst customer services I’ve ever seen. The bank manager just lie to my face and when she was proven to be wrong she looked me in the face and said no I didn’t tell you that‍️. Her only excuse was what do you expected if I work for Scotiabank

They are taking appointments only on saturday.
No mention of it anywhere abot this until you go and visit branch.scotiabank website says they are open but no note saying that its appointment only.

Need to setup some clear timing.

No body cares about customers. International students line supposed to be separate. It was really hot outside and I waited almost 45 in line to withdraw my money bec ATM limit. No water or anything.

If you call scotia online they say bank is open but when u visit in person it has note saying it is closed.
How ever security gard is inside branch talking to staff.
Coming week will be switching my bank to RBC.

You guys really need to change your ABM machines. I tried both the machines inside the bank and the one at the drive thru as well, but I wasn't able to deposit any money into my account. I've been with scotiabank for almost 4 years, and never have I ever visited a branch with such machines. This was the worst experience with the ABMs I could ever have.

ATM never works when I say never, it literally NEVER works. This is been happening over a year or so. It’s totally crazy. Just to do a deposit you have to lineup even during this Covid lockdown. Staff are friendly

The guy named Patrick at this branch, is such an unprofessional guy wasted my 25 minutes over the phone. Tried to book my appointment but couldn't do it and hung up on me. Avoid this branch very unprofessional.

Unprofessional and unwelcoming representatives. They are sloths. They kept people wait in line outside of the branch for an hour and then before 10 minutes of the closing time they reach everyone in line to tell them to go home and come on another day or make appointments. That was stupidest thing to kept us wait this long

I have been doing most of my banking here at this Location for the past 4 years. I would definitely recommend this branch. Pawan Wason is a great guy, and he has been my goto for any issues. He takes extra effort and pain to help you out. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends.

Worst place in the world. 2 months ago I visited with my cousin and we deposited 450$ but we didn’t get any money. We are doing emails every week. But we didn’t get any solution of this issue. Very bad staff members in this location. Today I called manager (Paul victor) of this bank and I wanted to open my business account. Firstly he said came at 12: 30 pm but after sometimes he called me came at 1: 00 pm then again he called me and he said my system is too much slow down. I took holiday from my work for opening the account. He wasted my whole day. Please guys don’t go to this location.

They don't deserve even 1 star. Worst customer service experience ever. Avoid to book a appointment with one of the so called financial advisor Jaspreet Singh Paintal, I have waited a week for my appointment and a day before he called me asking me stupid question over the phone and not listen to my issue which I am facing. Branch manager should take strict action against him so he don't misbehave with other client. Stay away from him and this branch.

Very poor customer service, on Friday I come around 2 o'clock and they don't allow me to come in. Insted security guard show me diffrent location near by when I ask guard is this location is close she said no it' no also people were working in and there was no line. Such resist place. I will swich my back for sure after this kind of rude experience.
As customer we only want normal service
I would also ask higher management to take action if possible.

One of the most Senior but worst Financial Advisor is Pawan wason, so manipulative and does upselling without even giving proper knowledge to other person. He Just wants to do his sales regardless of what the other person is looking for.
Manager should be informed about his doings. Strict action should be taken against him.

They are very slow and have very less customer experience. Its not the first time happening to me, most of the times they let you wait atleast an hour. Paul and Jaspal both are very unprofessional.
It would be much better if they atleast talk politely.

I’m new to this branch so I’m not too sure about the entire location but Kimberly is an amazing worker. She truly takes her time to handle clients in an orderly manner and is very careful with your banking. This establishment should be proud to have her.

Horrible customer service. Over an hour wait to open a new account branch manager Paul Victor should be fired. This Branch displayed the lowest levels of branch management and customer service I have yet to see at a financial institution. Very poor reflection of banking.

This Professional bankers are not even able to issue a credit card for me.they say to me that there are many other students with similar name of mine. I do agree with you. But you fu.ing guys dont understand that SIN is unique number for every students and I need to get Credit card base on my sin number.

Pawan and Meeram are friendly and make promises that they do NOT keep after you agreed to doing business with them. They promised to waive a fee for me and instead I was charged for 2 fees, when I reached out to them, they ignored me. The staff have little knowledge and are unable to answer your questions. One person tells me to speak to another person and after an hour, I still didn't get an answer. I came here and did business about 4.5 years ago, and since then I didn't go back. I wouldn't have gone back if it weren't for the fact that some of my documents were sent to this branch. This must be the worst branch ever! If you read the reviews, you can see that my experience is not unique and many people are dissatisfied with the service here!

I just received a harassing phone call from Pawan in regards to my review above. Rather than offer an apology and actually rectify the situation, he starts to preach company policy. Then he continues to tell me I should have come in and spoke to him. Well, I did that, and nothing was done at the time and like I said, I emailed him and no response. He then continues to say he doesn't have time to respond to emails. I gave him a solid week to respond prior to writing my review, that is more than enough time to respond. To end things off, he says "if I get you your money back, will you take down the bad review? ". Are you kidding me, you are only willing to do what's right if you get something in return? !? ! What type of integrity is that? !? Do what's right in the first place and avoid a bad review altogether!
