The assistant manager Michael has a serious superiority complex and complete lack of customer service skills. He is rude, distrustful and has no issue with making your life stressful and traumatic for no reason.

Instead of helping, Michael treated my family as criminals and locked up access to the account. It took days and hours and hours on the phone and still I have to wait 7 - 10 days to get back into my account. All because I sent my son to deposit cash while I deal with an injury and Michael thought he had criminal intent, you know because criminals love depositing cash for you.

Once I receive access to my account I am transferring all my savings to a new bank.

Staff are kind and good but the atms are always broken, or out of cash. Also 2 times out of 5 they’re out of loonies and quarters. This branch makes me want to switch my bank tbh

I went to the bank at about two o 'clock in the afternoon. It was a pretty young lady who checked for me. Her name seems to be M…sorry She was very gentle and polite and told me what ID I needed to bring next time then she can help. So I went home and went back at 3 o 'clock. It was a kind middle-aged lady who helped me and was also very patient and friendly!

Beware the service here is about SALES, NOT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Opened a mortgage account here after being recommended by family, we decided to renew with another lender. Knowing we were leaving, the service has been terrible. They are trying to gauge us with a charge just to make that last dollar off of us. I will never recommend this bank to anyone. I will be switching banks after my meeting with the Ombudsman of banking. I will be advising all family members & friends to switch/avoid this bank. I repeat, beware the service here is about SALES, NOT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. RUN AWAY WHILE YOU CAN.

ATM did not have any money, literally its only job. Also quite a sketchy ATM to use, usually a lot of people hanging around, does not feel safe

Had my TFSA and rrsp account opened here.good service and friendly staff. Will recommend my friends to open accounts too.

A really good branch. Helped me even when I lost my ID. I think all the bad reviews are from illegal aliens on welfare.

Every staff is very kind and helpful. Some of them are not fluent in English tho, I'll visit again this branch.

This bank obviously is designed for Chinese customers, especially the Chinese customers who don't know how to post review here. There are other branches close to this one, you should go other ones if you are not Chinese speaker because you will get better service other branch. Hours really should be longer

My friend Miley is very helpful.she walked me thought the difference between different investment products, such as gic mutual funds, with great patience. I want to express my appreciation towards her attitude which contributes to great customer experience.and I have to say she is a great asset to this branch and again thanks for your information which is very helpful. I wish there could be more great agents like her.

As a small business owner I have nothing but high praise for this bank. Everyone from the tellers to the loan managers are friendly, polite and take my calls and concerns to heart. Long live Scotiabank at Dundas and Spadina!

I am a bit new to Scotiabank. Is it normal for a bank to only be open 6 hours a day? How does anything get done? It’s 2020, not 1985.

Incompetent manager. I wanted to link my debit card account to my credit card. The lady told me I needed to visit my home branch with the explanation that the paper work is sent to the home branch. It turned out to be a lie! I visited the next closest branch which is on Bathurst. The lady completed the request in 5 mins. My message is as simple: if you don't know how to complete the request, simply state so! Don't come up with an excuse and create inconvenience for your customers by asking them to visit their home branch. Be honest and don't BS!

Slow service.

I have been using Scotia as my main bank account for seven years. Last year I got my credit card which has $ 2000 limit (actually I only ask for $1000). The man who helped me (forgot his name) said I can only get my credit card unless they hold $2400 in my debit because this is my first time applying visa in Canada. (what?) I had no choice becasue I really need a visa card. And it has been half year with a holding $2400 in my debit. Also, I went to the branch which on King and Bathurst, they said there is a hole in my account due to $2400 holding. (I didnt get it) This make me feels like I am fooled. Therefore I am going to close both debit and credit at Scotiabank and go to another bank with no holding and no more disturbing life insurance phone call.
