Very rude customer service. One of the worst ones I have ever experienced.
Definitely, they are serving people depending on the skin color and the status of the customer.
Specially the old lady in the front counter. I don't even know why they have her at the front counter. Nobody wants a customer service like that.

Very bad experience. Specillay with the teller Smruti and her manager. They both have the bad attitude towards the customer. Scotiabank should have trained these guys about how to talk with the customers. I would not recommend to visit this branch.

Worst bank I have ever being to. No customer service at all. They even advice customer to close acxount if not satisfied with sercice. I guess the worst staff of scotia bank are selected to work in this branch.

Worst customer service ever. Michael as the teller was rude and was not professional at all. Michael has an attitude problem. First he doesn't know half the things, don't know who hired him. I would give stars in negative if that was an option. First of all he declined to check if there was any safety box available and without checking he said there are none available. Then when we ordered cheque books he forgot to ask us if we need them personalized. Then blamed us that i got to let him know. I mean if i was working on the other end of the computer as teller than i could see and let him know. It's their job to ask all questions. Later after asking him many times to check, he confirmed that safety box were indeed available. He did not even assist to check them. He did not want to give it to us. Despite we were ready to pay for it. Overall Michael should not be working here. Rude. Rude. Rude. Worst customer service.

I Went here in the evening for a new account opening as part of the newcomers to Canada program.there i meet mr. Jude.he was so polite, humble and great person.we talked a lot and very gently he explained me the procedure of student account that how to activate and use.it was a great meeting with mr Jude.

Went here in the morning for a new account opening as part of the newcomers to Canada program. We were 3 students and it took us approximately 45-50 minutes.

Ms. Sedi Mosadegh, the Senior Financial Advisor was so polite, helpful, interactive and on to the point person. She explained us everything and gave us some additional information and advices about account management. We had a great experience dealing with Ms. Mosadegh.

Worst customer service ever. I’ve been with Scotiabank for 5 years and this location had the WORST customer service. Specially the manager/supervisor was very rude and judgmental. I went to them with a problem and they made it so hard to find a solution for it that I ended up closing my account with them. Never going to this location again

I visited this branch today to get my credit limit increase. I had booked an appointment through a customer service agent. I specifically asked the customer service agent if it was ok for me to bring all the documents in my phone and could show all these documents to the FA, the customer care agent was really nice. When i reached the branch the lady sitting in front was condenscending (I asked her if she could book my appointment for the next day which happened to be sunday which i didnt realise, she asked me if my company opens on sundays- again not a good way to talk to customers, could have just told me the bank is closed. It seems that the customer care and the branches are not in sync. Customer care agent booked my appointment with assistant manager instead of the financial advisor and i had to book another appointment for the next week. I wouldn't suggest anyone to go to this branch for getting their things done. Expect 2-3 visits more to be able to finish your small tasks.

This location does not serves well. For a balance certificate just profile page and to stamp on it, they charge $15. I took it before other branches they do not charge anything and the representative name pratik i also told him this is not it, but he said they do not do it anymore. Thereafter i checked with other branch they do not charge. They just took the money. I recently change my home branch to this location and i regret it.

Customer service lady is not helpful and rude I went because I have concerns about someone using my email and family name for their account when I’ve never had a scotiabank account she told me I basically have to deal with it and she can’t do anything I have already called the scotiabank number and they haven’t done anything either because im still getting this persons emails. So basically if this person does something with their bank account I will be associated and just have to deal with it?

I was on rush when I referred to this branch, although it was the busy time of the day, they helped me open up an account and explained every details to me very quickly and patiently. Very well satisfied with their services.

I do not know about this branch but i can say this here some staff can not attend a customer properly. I had an appointment a month ago for the new application of the credit card. I've told by the Agent JOY SAYEG that my credit card score is very low, so the scotiabank will not pick the application. Afterwards, exact happened. Again she told me i can try for you with credit branch so they can issue you the card. I agreed on that. She told me she will updateme on my file but no update no nothing yet. I was literally felt that she was not even interested to attend me, as whenever i tried to ask her a questn she was just like intrupt me in between. Even i am stuck and confused that should i apply somewhere else or no. Really ridiculous. I have many friends whose credit history was so much down and even not paid there credit amount in full and they got new card after it got expired. I really want to know the reason why guys can not issue a credit card if a customer paid tghe whole amount. Why?

If you want to make this your home branch, DON’T! They are extremely rude and do not have any compassion. They don’t try to solve a problem for you, instead just say no. They are very impatient and you simply don’t matter to them. Just go somewhere else and save yourself some trouble.or even better, pick CIBC cz at least they are nice and try to do everything in their power

Extremely less attentive branch to their customers. I visited 4 times on 4 days for a matter but still it is in progress while not knowing what will happen. Visited on time for the appointment but never showed up the called the extension for the assigned representative but never answered the emailed but only once it was replied then no replies when I asked for update.

Syeda wasif is the worst manager there. She freeze my account without any reason and lied to me many times. From last one month she freezed my account and without letting me know or handing over the file to someone else she took a vocation for two weeks. She never pick up the call and she don’t have any loyalty to her customers. I am facing many problems just because of syeda wasif. Worst manager ever SYEDA WASIF

They’ve been holding $500 HOSTAGE for over 3 months now. I’ve contacted my closest Scotiabank, they can’t solve my issue because of this branch and they can’t even have the curtsy of answering an email. Where’s my remaining funds Scotia? Solve my issue. Arianna (representative), Fernando (call centre&RUDE) The Brown management at that location hasn’t solved my issue or reach out, FIX UP.

Called the branch waited for 50 minutes got the contract center they couldn't help me so asked me that they will transfer me to a branch member and I should leave a voicemail. Was transferred the phone rang like 20 times and call was ended. What an absolutely waste of time. All I need is I asked for replacement credit card which needs to be sent to my address which they sent it to the branch (another stupid mistake)

Sorry cant give 0 stars I would've if I could.

Went here for a new account opening as part of the newcomers to Canada program. Took an appointment and was given a date 2 days later.

Ms. Joy Sayegh, the Financial Advisor was so helpful, polite and to the point. Explained everything and opened the account within 30 minutes. Great experience dealing with Ms. Sayegh.

They are really bad at knowledge of their own policy. Better to deal your banking with other banks as they are very bad at professionality. Very disappointed with service and on top of everything they wasted time. I think I should have check review before here.

Worst Customer Service. My application was not process in good manner by financial advisor of this branch. Stay away from this brach, they don’t have knowledgeable staff who can guide. I hope branch manager will contact me to have more insight information regarding incident.

Workers don’t value your time, and to boot they don’t fix the problem that you go there to fix, they’re incompetent rude and straight up useless, I wouldn’t recommend this branch for my worst enemy. Because of my horrible experience here I’ve switched banks. I’d love to say more things but I was taught if you have nothing nice to say don’t say anything at all. TRASH

The worst place ever to deposit your money in the ABM/ATM. I deposit money in my account using the drive thru about $670, guess what the crapy machine indicated error message, no receipt generated, no money in my account, Guess what I have to spend about 2 hrs on the not to receive service. I bank with other organisations I am sure this the worst bank I have been banking with due to this particular location, I just hate to visiting this place.

Every trip to this location is awful. Wastes your time and doesn't even do the job you ask for. Every time they give a different excuse to not do the job.wasted 40 mins of my time, already withdraw money from my account to tell me they cannot give me my money and then I have yo wait another 15-20 mins for them to put the money back to my account. USELESS! Every 5 mins tellers gets up and ask someone else what to do and then that person wastes time and does nothing.

I booked an appointment for my GIC from 2: 00 PM to 3: 00 PM. I am new to Canada and after my 14 days quarantine I got my appointment late after long wait. I didn't know anything about transit system here. I left 2 hours before but I went the opposite way, so I was late just by 2 minutes. I entered the bank at 3: 02. I had to pay my rent and I requested there executive Rita Singh. I literally requested her so many times that I don't have any money left and I have to pay my rent next day they'll kick me out. She was so rude and looked frustrated. The way she talked to us was so rude. She was literally scolding us for being late. Her attitude was really unacceptable, after so many requests she was still giving me appointment after 2 September. Then when we were about to leave, Mary Jen Aseoung helped us. I'm so sorry if I wrote name wrong. I don't know the exact spelling. But she was so good she went over time. The bank was about to close but she still opened our accounts. She helped while she had some urgent class. I'm giving these 3 stars for her only.

This is not my home branch but every time I go there more than my home branch. I never had problem before but now the service are very poor. The Assistant Manager Vishal Mehra has no knowledge. His service is very poor. He seems like he does not have any banking experience. This is the worse bank branch.

I use Scotia ATMs all over Etobicoke, and the ones at this branch fail more often than any other location. In fact, I would say that they fail more than the other locations combined. Why is that? Who is in charge of this? Does the location manager not know, or do they not care?

They are abusing of the pandemia, they do not answering the phone, the messages on the voicemail, are out dated and inaccurate.
They charge for everything, even for legitimate mistakes.
But they do not pay you when ATM is not working and you CANT GET YOUR MONEY FROM YOUR ACCOUNTS and you waste your time. Totally working only one way. Totally unfair

The person who assisted me was Qais salim. Very bad experience when I went there last time.
He was very unprofessional and did talking more than working.
I went for my RRSP withdrawal he was more interested in taking about loan that I took from and how much down I am putting towards house.he read office announcement letter in front of me which of no use. I went there from my break he took 30-40 minutes to do 5 minutes work.we need professional people @ work in 21st century.
5 star for teller she helped me very well with my draft but can't forget waste of my time with financial advisor there.

One of the worst location and staff here. I really had a bad experience with manager of this branch. I know his name but i still understand and not taking here. But unfortunately, he cannot make decisions at his own. I don’t know why these guys scared too much to make decisions sometimes. But, i would like to thank receptionist lady who helped me twice. I visited this branch to switch my credit card I was amazed by the service I received by Gianluca Lippa. He's such an amazing and accommodating person. His demeanour is so friendly yet professional. This gentleman helped me with getting a new credit without any hassle even though I had been told otherwise by online customer support and another branch.
I would absolutely visit this branch again for any banking concerns because of his welcoming attitude.

Horrible, the security guard stays inside the doors so no one controls the line ups outside, my disabled brother waited over an hour and a half to get in first thing in the morning while others just pulled up and walked right in. The line up was a mess with people grouping close together, a man with no mask sneezed 100 times, this branch should come with a complimentary corona test while you wait outside like a loser.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible customer service. I would give them NO star if I could. Basically, I paid 7.50 for the teller girl to barely answer my questions or give me instructions. Later, when she found out I was transferring money to another scotia bank account holder, she rolled her eyes at me like I'm the dumb one for doing the money draft. She could have simply asked me some questions to find out the nature of my business. Don't ever go there! You will be treated really badly.

I went in to this location once to resolve an issue and they were very helpful. The wait time wasn't too long and the teller who assisted us explained everything in great detail. Although our issue had to be escalated to another department, this location was still very helpful in the process. Thank you for your service!

One of staff said to me that government cheques cant encashment here. But the government of canada website said we can encashment any cheques at any bank. So this Scotia bank branch teller server doesn't know their service

Worst branch ever! I deposited 2000$ in the atm and it went into error and did not return my money or deposit into my account! Its been almost 2 weeks now and they still do not answer or care! I do not recommend this branch to anyone! All the staff need training on customer service and some staff need to be fired immediately! And im still waiting on my money!

After a few of my paychecks bounced the manager took me to a back room to talk down to me like I owe them something.i did not write the checks and was not at fault for anything but I was threatened to have my account closed. I always fixed any balances right away and dont understand what the problem was.so between the slowest service the longest lines and the lack of respect shown to me i decided to close my account myself and move on to a better bank.
TD, banking really is that simple!
