Incompetence galore. Avoid using this branch. The personnel knowledge has improved marginally; however, if u want efficiency, and correct information and your banking done quickly and correctly, avoid this branch. Pathetic, Scotia bank, pathetic!
I would give you a negative 5 star rating if it were possible!
That being said, why are your employees out to destroy your business at this branch? The employees at the closest branch are helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. What is the source of your issues at this branch? Maybe a couple of senior managers who refused to deal with an angry customer (me), relegating me to an assistant?

I visited Branch on Saturday March 12 and booked a appointment with a advisor for Saturday March 19 and received email confirmation right away. An hour before the appointment on March 19, I got a call for letting me know that I don't have appointment, advisor is not working today and it was booked in error. The person who called did not have clue what happened.
I was so disappointed and amazed, they had whole week in-between to figure this out. -

Terrible customer service. Left 3-4 messages for our financial advisor. Mentioned that this was an urgent matter. NEVER returned our call. Time to invest our money elsewhere I guess since they don't seem to want our business.

Incredibly sly advisor. Her name is Supriya Sangtani Rola. Booked an appointment and was assigned to her. She was really friendly. She mentioned that after the meeting, I would get a survey to rate the meeting. She says the bank relies on these surveys to give her a good rating. I gave her a good rating. Afterwards, whenever I had questions, she ignores them. Incredibly deceitful. After you give her a good rating, she ignores you. Don't see her - she only cares about her perceived "great" rating.

I went to this branch to do a transaction for which teller was not sure so she went to ask customer service supervisor McKay Schell to which he said we can’t do it. Teller then came back and said it’s locked and you have to go to your home branch to do it. I said I don’t know where is the home branch and asked for their help to fix it.she responded we can’t do it here. I asked for an explanation none given so I asked to see a manager. She said well she is on her lunch and you can sit there and wait for an hour to see her. I asked why do I have to wait that long? Can you not ask them to come see me now. At this point another employee named Alec Sutherland, universal banker walked up and said you don’t need to see manager she told you already to go to your home branch so you can leave now. When I repeatedly asked to see a manager McKay Schell walked up and said I’m the manager, when I asked to see the business card he came right in my face and pulled out his business cards and handed one to me and said now you can leave. I said I won’t leave unless I see a manager because this is not the way to treat customers. I needed to know what is going on. I again asked for the branch manager for which I was told she is on vacation. I asked for Assistant Branch Manager which I was told to wait an hour for. I then called Scotiabank phone banking to see if I can get help. Alec Sutherland & McKay Schell kept standing around me and kept running their mouth telling me to leave the branch. I was harassed, lied to and was insulted by these two goons (Alec Sutherland & McKay Schell) I asked them to step away and let me find explanation since no one at the branch is helping. Phone persons was trying to help me by calling the branch looking for someone and she said no one at the branch is picking up her call. She suggested I approach someone else at the branch to which I approached another employee she asked me to come into an office so she can explain. As we walk into an office, the assistant branch manager walked in and offered to help. At the end they didn’t help me but she was not as ignorant as these employees. Alec Sutherland & McKay Schell are a disgrace to an organization like Scotiabank and this branch. This was my first time in any Scotiabank and after this last time stepping into a Scotiabank. I will close the only 1 thing I have with them. They misrepresented themselves, were not willing to help and explain & were confrontational. I don’t need to deal with the bank that have people like these working for them. This branch and Scotiabank deserves a zero rating because of my experience.

The worst branch I have ever been to with the most ignorant "manager" I have met in my life. No customer service skills at all and struggles to command the English language. A Teller who does not know what she is and is not allowed to do and a security guard by the door that is more scared of the people walking in then we are intimidated by him standing there. I have been a loyal customer of Scotiabank for years and have everything with them, I am now switching because of the service at this branch. I can not believe how unhelpful they are. Won't give me access to my own account after I proved multiple times that it was me.

Arrived with a draft from TD no older than 10 mins, to transfer funds from my TD account to my Scotia account. Provided receipts of draft and fax number of TD branch, with confirmation from a TD representative they'd verify the transactions to prevent a hold. Teller at Scotia informed me there would be a hold until they fax over to verify the funds with TD, which could take a while for a response but they'd make sure it's done and give me a call.

No hold removed, no call. Went in the next day to Scotia and ask why there is still a hold. Was told by the manger they didn't even fax over to TD, when the staff had informed me they would. Stated "We've had trouble in the past getting responses, so we didn't send the fax".

Why didn't they tell me this when I was depositing my draft a day earlier? I would've canceled and wired. The staff lied to me about what they would do, and wasted 5 business days for me with a hold.

A branch where you feel like banking back in 70s! Most of the staff specially all tellers without name tags! One of the staff always rolling shirt sleeves up (and seems to be managerial position!) gives impression of working in a trade or manufacturing unit rather than a bank! Very unprofessional! He was working as teller, called me with the finger signal! Very rude! No smile, no hi, how are you? On the other hand one staff always talking to customers, but wat too much! Works extremely slow pace like doesn’t even care about other old customers waiting in the line! No consideration what so ever! No staff from offices will come to you to help while waiting in the line, and at one point it was 10 customers were in line mostly seniors! Looks like no GMs or Managment visits this Branch or they simply don’t care! This Branch Sucks! You can’t have this behavior towards clients in this competitive economy!

This branch is terrible. They have no respect for your time or your money. Walk in mid afternoon and you'll find 2 tellers open and at least 5 staff around the teller office. They just chill and watch you stand in line. They also have no respect for your privacy or comfort. Tellers will often take your cards to back to the managers and discuss something without even informing you that they'll be right back.

Today I went in to change 300$ in coins to a few bills. After standing in line for 30 min when I reached the teller they told me Im supposed to roll up the coins and I can go to the corner and roll them up. They could have let me know when I walked in considering they had two people at the concierge, clearly just chilling and collecting salaries from overfees that we pay!

Another time they pre approved me for 20k credit, I went in and asked for 1k. They said no problem and we set a date for signing. On that date they told me they restructured to 20k to a 1k 19k split. Uh thats not what I asked for.they just out here to hit targets, collect bonuses, and screw customers in the process! Don't go to this branch, plenty of other options nearby!

The customer service horrible. Yesterday I came to make an appointment regarding the mortgage renewal. I was invisible for 40 minutes and just left. Never ever come to this branch.
