Wow what a horrible teller! So rude very quick to push a new customer away! Didn't care to ask what I needed or what I was looking for just said I'm sorry nothing today can't help u, ummm ok fine but ask me what I'm looking for? I could be wanting to buy a house.

Everything else was good but the security guard there was a little girl. I was setting my account on a side she came to me for help. I did not even ask her for help. She was standing over my head for the all time which was very uncomfortable. Just a advise if now anything happen with my account i know she was watching my phone all the time so i can blame her easily. So just a advise for future a banking detail is the private thing so do not came for help until or unless someone asked you to do so and do not stand over anyones head while someone is using their account.
I felt really bad about that. Now eventhough everything is fixed on my amount but i still have a doubt in my mind that she saw some of the details which is not good.

One of the blonde short haired woman there was rude and unprofessional in dealing with client.

Not one but TWO advisors at the branch don’t know how to properly close accounts and don’t know what they are doing. Had to call multiply times to make sure the account was closed. Train your workers

I was here today between 4: 15 to 4: 30 pm.the cashier was good, happy to serve.

But here is a lady, I'm not able to see her name, some people in the line behind me. Old Punjabi man was standing in the line she literally said him to not sit & to stand in line, even he said my back is paining. & she's saying "yeah".

she said, she need that seat for other customer, but i was there & saw he was alone and only need one seat not 2 chairs.even he didn't take seat, he's happy to stand near info desk.

Her way of talking was very rude.

I'm sure, her way of talking will be not the same if he's CANADIAN.

I know this review have not make any change, but atleast the manager get to know about this.

Please have Respect for others.

Went there yesterday to pay a bill, my card was expired and i couldn't do it online. There were two front desk staff, both were white people and when I started talking to the lady, she asked for my expired card driver license, verify my signature verify address, and at the same time, a white young guy was next to me talking to another staff. Interesting enough, he had not a single ID on him, and only one bill shows his name and address, he completed his business with that only without any further questions. While I was asked list of questions. The teller that I was dealing with, called her manager to verify me after all this list of questions and having more that ID.
I believe that is a clear discrimination against me, and I'm talking this to the human rights commission.
No wonder, the rates of this branch is very baf!

Tried to deposit money, took my cash, gave an error and spat my card out. Called the support number was told to wait for a call back from branch? People after me had issues as well, unacceptable from one of the biggest banks in canada

Went in today to withdraw my money and close my account, teller said I have to pay for bank draft to cash out all my money, like why would I pay extra just to get my money, then she said "the withdrawal limit for today is $2500 then come back next week" so i said ok then I took the cash. I called and did phone banking just to confirm whatever the teller said, the virtual assistant told me that I should be able to withdraw all my money and close the account. So I went to Mcleod branch and withdraw the rest on checking account then closed it- no problem and seamless.
Banking is a personal and definitely customer service experience.
This branch needs more customer service practice!

Words are not enough and thank you sounds trivial.

I will like to say, Mr. Cruise Perna, Mutual Fund rep, Ms. Connie the bank teller/ receiver and another lady manager I think not sure her name at Scotiabank 6225 Thorold Stone Rd for saving a life today in the literal sense.

Emergency funds were needed for a life-saving heart operation. Time was pivotal. With the emergency hospital staff on the phone waiting for payment all while the heart rate keep lowing and is now mid 20's the Scotiabank employees named above went above and beyond to expedite the process so a heart operation can be performed.

THANK YOU is not enough.but all I can say is God bless and thank you. However, the outcome is they could not have done any more to push the process any faster.

People are always ready to give a negative rating, but never stop to acknowledge the people that help daily.

Thank you to all the staff including the security guard at Scotiabank Thorold Stone Road Niagara Falls so helping me, even the smile through the mask to make me feel calm I was able to see. Helping me without an appt is priceless! Today they prove "You are richer than you think".

Not good.service is not bad but the way their service desk employees behave with everyone.today I went there and the lady at front was rude.her name was eileen.however, some other financial advisors are very nice.

I think that the managers need to train there employees again. I think they forget what good customer service is. I’ve never felt so out of place and uncomfortable in my life, they made it loud and clear they didn’t want me in there anymore and they didn’t like me. I was told not to roll my money because all they do is unroll it to count it, so of course i didn’t roll. The disrespect and attitude I got from Catherine was unexceptable. I will never go back into that scotia bank for any of my needs ever again, and I am thinking of switching banks to people who are glad to help and inform me on the proper procedures. I may only be 22 years old but I am definitely not a child, so please don’t talk down to me. Not satisfied at all.

I deposited money using envelope in one of those atm machines and still haven’t received money in account and it’s almost a month since it happened. I went there bunch of times after that they said they have set an inquiry regarding this and they will let me know in a week about it’s status. When I went there for first time they were refusing that I could not deposit money at that time because the machines were closed temporarily closed. This is ridiculous, never expected this kind of service from scotia bank. Very disappointed

I have been dealing with this branch for 21 plus years and now they are playing games. Today I had an appointment with Katy I show up and everyone is secretive about Katy turns out she was sick and then the manager thought it would be a good idea not to call me. So I wanted my time, I told the manager to
call instead of assuming. There newest tellers do not listen to the customer. Shame on you Scotiabank
