Very slow service less people. Tellers are not helpful. Very reluctant. There was a young girl no smile very slow and asks unnecessary questions. Line takes hours! Horrible!

I had a visit to this bank for opening a gic account for my friend. Firstly they made me wait in the line for 30 minutes and then told me to go to other helper.she just had 3 customers before us waiting in line and it was just 12PM and she told me to go to another bank. I would recommend that never to visit this bank. Their service is quite dull and also their behaviour is also not very welcoming. It seemed that we had created a trouble for them by asking for help. Really a very dissappointing experience.

This was my very first bank in canada I opened account with. Not a good bank or may be this branch has more problems. Even tellers are not fully equipped with knowledge. For something which was not even my fault, had to go to tellers multiple time, stand in line, had hit my credit because of their inquiry. Since three years my scotia visa was not on file with transunion. Even when you call customer service its some weird answers they have. Really not happy with their customer service as well as banking. Ready to move to other bank once my main issue is resolved.

Even at peak times they refuse to put out more than 3 tellers, and one is the business teller. 4 if you count the Seniors one, which won't take you. Haven't seen more in over a decade.

Go to a different branch if you can, this one doesn't want you.

This Scotiabank branch was good thanks to Komal Nanda. She was a great advisor very helpful and got the work done super fast. Now that she is not in this branch, it sucks. Nobody really attends to you and wants to help you.

Still waiting for a reply from this branch. I've raised a complaint with Scotiabank and was told it will take 48-72 hours to get a reply, it's been 50 hours and nothing.

Commercial banking is supposed to be open for teller transactions from 10-3 Monday to Friday. It's literally never open. We would like the manager Deepak Chauhan to stop this false advertising and help businesses save time and not hold up the personal banking lineup.

Very nice tellers. Always patient and helpful.

They have the worst customer service. My wife went there for a simple name change on our account. They demanded a document from service Ontario. A marriage certificate, Ontario drivers licence and health card was not enough for a bank. Imagine, the government of Canada and Ontario and ok with the name change but not Scotia Bank.

Do they think we made the drivers license in our basement? Or is this branch just on a power trip?

We're moving our mortgage to another branch.

Worst service! They don't even have personal banker to help you with your financial needs. Was a client before and was a big disappointment. They also cheated me out of Givin me the bonus amount that was promised for 1st timers.

The worst service i could have got in my life the staff knows nothing. They lack basic knowledge as if they are working without training. Extremely arrogant staff. They don't hesitate to act bossy. I wonder what action scotiabank is taking for such low ratings of a bank.

I have to say, i am skeptical at first to open an account on this branch because of all the reviews that i read. But i still tried it and i don't regret it. It's my first Bank account here in Canada and this is so important step for me. So my appointment reservation through phone call has a mistake infos to it although it's not my fault actually but they still entertain me and Ms. Merann Dias is the one who assist me and she is so sweet and polite and really will explain to you of what you need and don't and whats good for you. So i am glad i get Scotiabank as my first ever bank here in Canada. Thank you so much to the staffs of this branch. (:

I went to bank to replace my debit card. Employee name hamza was on customer service desk doing nothing and when i asked i want to replaced the card. He was not helpful at all. This is not first time incident with him. He doesn’t want to work. When he was not on call and sitting ideal. He can atleast give me the proper information on that. The assistant manager jass is also not helpful most of the time. Arrogant lady with lots and lots of attitude.

Unprofessional and unknowledgeable service! This location should be shut down as none of the employees inside know how to do their job, I went in to pay off my mortgage and they gave me the wrong numbers and wasted my time. This is incredibly terrible service and I hope this review saves you the energy of having to write one yourself.

After banking with scotia for about 10 years I think it's time to move on to other institutions. Customer service is not their priority and cant be expected much from any branch. But this branch on top of dismissive employees also have incompetent people working. Something that took call center representative 5 minutes to understand branch representative just could not comprehend it. They think they know everything and try to answer even before understanding the question and give misleading information. If possible just visit another branch or maybe just use the ATM and not deal with any individual.

I am not sure which branch is worse, this one or BalMoral. Tripping hazards, dysfunctional ABM's and management that doesn't follow up, communicate or care about any issues at all. Almost 99% of Scotia Bank's ABM's do not work correctly. They do not care. Stay away.

I have been to this location many times and its never as good as other locations. Went in today, they had only one teller working while the others were in the back chatting, the line for a teller was extended outside to the parking lot. Teller also booked an appointment with an advisor which I never asked for. Had to cancel a appointment I never made. Save your time

Staff are normally great, wait time is long but staff normally make sure its not too bad.

The reason I'm giving 2 stars is recently they have only been allowing 1 person to wait in their entire lobby (about 50-60ft of line space) and making everyone else wait outside.

The past 2 times I came here this was the case and both times it took close to 1 hour and 20 minutes just to get into the building (only 10 to 20 people ahead of me).

I understand sometimes the staff can't control the wait time but they are forcing people to stand outside during the heat wave we are having in ON. There is no shade at all so you just stand in the direct sun the whole time.

I started to feel sick and light headed and I noticed other people around me where even worse. One guy we where so worried about him passing out we helped him to sit in the section between doors.

I know covid restrictions might have some say in this, however something needs to be done.

Either let more people wait inside or the company should purchase large tents to give shade if the wait is going to be over an hour

(Some people don't have the choice to just not go either, so they can't just leave and go back another time when it's cooler)

We had an appointment with Financial Advisor and Some advisor called and cancelled the appointment literally 2 min before the schedule time while we were waiting outside to get in for the appointment or offer the reschedule and directed us to call the center and make a new appointment.

By far the WORST branch in the worst financial institution. I have pulled all my cash and investments from this bank as of today. I unfortunately still have a mortgage with them but won’t have to worry about that come renewal. Completely disrespectful, make you wait 2 hours in the cold with no empathy whatsoever and staff is unprofessional.

Being an International student my account was opened with Scotiabank. Visited here many times the staff is very friendly and helpful. They are always ready to help people with their problems. Not much waiting time. This branch is located along with dixie road and lisa street in Bramlea City Center.

Dropped off some important confidential papers to the receptionist at the front for a new account opening, not only has the paper not reached its destination, I fear they may have lost it. I left a detailed message for the branch manager and she has yet to contact me back this has been over two weeks. I never knew this would be how they would treat confidential paperwork.

In the morning, I received a call that my letter of account balance is ready and I can pick it anytime. When I went to the branch in the evening they said there is no letter for me.

The deception does not stop! This morning I specifically asked about commissions and I was clearly told that there was no commission fee taken on one of my investments. Yet the statement clearly shows the 'trailing' commission fee, described as being for ". Advice and service". IF indeed I had received accurate 'advice and service' regarding this investment I would never had agreed to it! It states that the fee is charged per year and yet none of the previous quarterly statements had this declared! Why was I assured just this morning that there was absolutely no fee? ! Where is the respect for clients? !

First went there to open up a joint student account and was treated like a child. Not professional at all. They finally told us after a long wait that it was possible but we had to make an appointment. Came back a week later for the appointment and was still treated like a child and they ended up saying it wasn’t possible. Total waste of our time. Went to CIBC across the street and had no problem opening a joint student account there. Would not recommend this branch to any students.

*I have updated this review to reflect the positive outcome due to the advisor. I still do not appreciate the poor service originating from the head office. I would expect the local branch to stand behind their customers (finally they did)! However, why is it that the head office approved a better rate for my GIC renewal (through the advisor here at the Bramalea City Centre branch) + now is trying to renege the offer? ! Days later she (the advisor) was told that it is already a special rate and cannot have a bonus rate added. Then why did they initially approve it? This scenario wasn't fair to the advisor either. The advisor called me on Monday and told me it was fine! I do not appreciate being treated this way. I have been a loyal client, unlike Scotiabank itself. Scotiabank should honour their original decision! * Well, I am pleased to be able to report that the advisor came through, dealing impressively with the issue (and head office) to reach a positive resolution. Thank you!

There’s a guy working over there named prince he makes people fool pretending like he is checking name on computer. I waited for 15 minutes in line and when my turn comes he ignored me and start pretending like he is checking on computer, he don’t even ask me anything about account details not even account number. I don’t what and how he check but he said me we didn’t receive any wire transfer for you. I have worst experience ever.
