Silvia, especially for you, it looks like she does not want to work at all. She talks back for no reason she don’t even listen what you have to say, interrupts you and won’t even listen to your concern before she start talking. She lied to me on couple of things, had to bring in Supervior renee who helped me lil bit, but still at the end of day really bad customer service

One of the worst branch ever. Tuesday after a long weekend the operation hours supposed to from 9 to 5 pm. The rude security said no one is there even there are 4 rep woking inside and at 3 pm bank was closed. Worst customer service ever.

Staff seems like they don’t know what they are doing. I want to open a youth account for my child but they don’t know what is youth account. I went 3x in this Westwood Mall branch. Customer service there is so poor.

These guys told me to go paperless because they care about environment. I said"ok".
Another day i told them to update my sin no. And i asked their email to send paperless email of SIN no.
They sarted hating environment again and said "no we need hard copy".
Because they didn't want to leave the warm chair to print my email.

I wish this location crashes soon because these guys have 2 star rating, they just love it and not improving.

One of the best bank in the area as well as security service is not only splendid but also very helpful, polite behaviour and respectful. I like it very much i hope the girl who is doing job of security service will be continuing for years with this bank.

They don’t have value for time and there’s no meaning of appointment. I had an appointment regarding sin and still miss Sukhbir kaur (financial advisor) says that you have to wait in a line.

One of the worst bank and worst branch at Westwood mall. They put my whole account on hold due to a wire transfer. I called customer care 10 miles, they hang up every time. I visited nearest branch in Ottawa, they are telling me to visit homebranch at Westwood mall and gave me their phone no. I tried 40 times, nobody answers.
Please choose any other bank, or don't choose any.
But please never go to scotia

Why is it with this location the atm machines are abysmal to use? Out of 4 only one machine allows you deposit and the exterior one doesn't work at all

The security guard here is really nice. She helped me alot. I just went there to get the appointment for my sister but she helped us and we get the appointment on the same day and got our job done really quick. I really appreciate her kindness and helpfull nature.

Worst bank ever! And good luck calling into the bank. An automated voice kicks in and it makes you wait 20 mins and then connects you to their call centre. You speak with the call centre people, only to find out, you have to speak with someone from the bank. Don't bother leaving messages, no one returns calls. I called the Br. Mger Amrit (of course he didn't pick up) I would have thought he would at least return my call, I could see him sitting at his desk doing nothing, looks at the phone and didn't pick up. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS BRANCH AT ALL! The ONLY nice people are the bank tellers, everyone else is LAZY, LAZY, LAZY.

Today we visited scotia branch Westwood mall. The behavior of Security guard was outstanding. The way of her talking was amazing. Such a good person she is. God bless her. She is very helpful.

I had no problem with employees inside the branch but they definitely have to work on fixing their automated machines, they are absolutely useless when you always have to visit branch to just withdraw some cash and wait in line and its been like this over months. During weekends branch is not even open and you have to drive to another branch or call customer service for alternatives. This is extremely annoying especially when you pay monthly fees to this bank, please use it to fix your machines.

Best experience at this branch. I was late and adviser was leaving for home, then i explained her my situation and then i got my thing done.

Very worst service by a lady i went near to 11 am on 19 january 2022. She is soo rude i know she working from soo long at same branch but her attitude is worse i dont have any words for her. Waited for scotiabank customer care on the phone for over 40 minutes. Once I got through. Representative asked me for security questions. On the 4th question he hanged up the phone. It looked like he is just killing time at his job. And avoiding to help clients with their issues. Worst service.

World number one slow person here in this branch I request to you all please don’t open account or any bank work

I wish i could give them 0 as they booked appointments on the days when they are closed! Not actually closed they just sit inside and lock their doors i booked an appointment with sukhbir kaur at 2: 15 pm and when i came to branch they didn’t open the doors while they’re inside it’s just waste of time to come here either u have appointment or u walking in

Worst customer service ever. My sister visited the branch today asking about student banking account and line of credit. The lady had no patience to answer the questions. Why be in customer service if you can’t do the basic job of answering our questions with patience? Horrible. Can’t expect this kind of service from Scotiabank.

Worst bank in my life. I visit this bank for deposit my cheque at 4pm but the security over there said its closed but it should be open till 5 pm

When called the phone number of this branch it said the branch is open today (11am -4pm). When i reached there it had a sign that its closed on weekends.

Worst Scotia branch! I don't understand whether its the pandemic or immigration in general, the new hires in the branch are simply pathetic.
Scotiabank should take immediate steps to improve staff performance as the branch ratings are the poorest in the region.

From 1st day, I am customer of Scotia Bank. Good dealing nice behavior, all members done good job.

Went to the same branch to get my thing sorted out. Karnvir assisted me and my friend. He updated my account within few minutes. Also, he was nice and friendly. Thanks man! Really appreciate your customer service:) Five stars!

Past: This branch has poor customer service. Went there for my personal banking and without reading my ID properly teller told me it doesn’t match with the letter I have provided. Everything was good and then she didn’t update it in the system which I realized after two days when I called customer service to confirm. Guess what she didn’t update it. Until today they haven’t updated my information in the system yet.

I deposited a cheque in this bank and they completely deposited wrong amount. They deposited 1000 dollars less. You guys are careless.

Worst of them worst.they have a phone number but it doesnt reach to the branch.we have to go in person to book an appointment.like seriously

If I could, I would give them negative 5 star.
I switched my home branch here because I was having a hard time commuting from my home to work and I couldn't do my bank stuff, the first thing they did was to mix my profile with someone else, suddenly my profile has a new sin number, a different ID, no mother maiden name.

First Visit: One of my credit payment got declined, I went to the branch to sort stuff out, Their customer service treated me like a thief because they messed up my profile when they brought my account to their branch and their system had a different sin number, license. Their assistant manager got my card frozen. Instead of helping the situation, they made it even worse. They wasted 1 to 2 hours of my time that day. I had to leave because it was getting nowhere. They did update my SIN number, though, so good job on that.

Second Visit: This time I brought someone they know, their office was close because of some possible COVID-19 case or some other reason, they weren't serving anyone, but you know what they suddenly got my card cleared. How did that happen? This even gets worse on the third visit.

Third Visit: This time, I went to get a balance statement letter. This time, I found out that my profile doesn't have my mother maiden name, I have been talking to Scotia Reps for years giving my mother maiden name. They still have someone else's ID in the system. How did that happen? They wouldn't update my profile because they believe that I'm not who I claim I am. I had to leave because i knew I wasn't going to get anywhere with these guys.

I am going to switch my branch to some other location with good reviews.

I definitely question Scotiabank's ability to choose a manager for this branch. Apparently, there are so many negative reviews regarding their bad customer service, bad management skills but they still ignore to do anything.

Scotiabank- You are loosing customers because of this Branch's customer service. Worst customer service. I went to branch to apply credit card and they didn't know the process. Even there was a customer in front of me. They did the same with him too. When I called customer service, the representative at phone she told me to go to the branch. If you don't have the efficient staff please close this branch at Westwood plaza in Mississauga.

Worst experience at Scotiabank ever, lady name Pawan applied my credit card but didn’t even ask me what credit card you wanna apply for what plan and any other information which should be given before applying for a card, she applied my credit card by herself not giving me a any type of information at all. I had to ask her all the information and when I asked questions she gave me different and wrong answer each time. So, if you care about your money and want information you should be provides before applying for anything don’t ever go to this branch. The only good thing at branch was the guy who was opening door for everyone with a smile.

Went to the branch to ask some questions about the TFSA account we opened. Staff seemed very uneducated about their products.had no idea what we were talking about. It was my first time at Scotia and it was a terrible first impression. Would never recommend it to anyone!
