Just terrible. I have never experience such awful customer service. I'm already going through an emotional time as executor to my brother-in-law and to not get anyone to return my emails without me begging for answers is so unprofessional. The long waits in the line are ridiculous. So many elderly people struggling to stand in the line that long. I do have to shout out to finally getting help from Amy the Mgr who had to reach out to her staff to answer me. Helen is also a friendly teller. Financial advisors and Estate Dept need to work together and communicate more with their clients. I'm not sure who is at fault at this point.

This branch has always tried to help me when they could. Polite and friendly. Very helpful. Manager is amazing and one teller actually took the time to set up my online banking information on my phone! I had no idea how to do it. Kind and helpful. 5 out of 5

Your atms are horrible. No matter what amount of bills I deposit it always rejects some. Took me 4 times to deposit $400. Next time this happens I'll just use my cibc accounts exclusively.

Avoid Scotiabank at all costs, their decisions are not client centric. All decisions made reflect that of the shareholders and business needs

I have been trying to get the rest of my sons RESP’s out so that I can pay for his schooling. I can’t get an appointment with anyone sending emails to a million different financial advisers (advisors is the wrong word) my son starts school on January 9th we had to differ his payments bc I can’t get his money released. I have had 4 financial advisers in a year I never know who I am talking too. I have been with Scotiabank for 30 years all my stuff is here but I think starting in the new year I’m going to start switching all my stuff to a different bank and when my mortgage is up for renewal I’m out of there for that too.

Scotia should really train their employees in customer service and make them aware of what all services they provide. I have to visit them (unfortunately) because of my iTrade account and these people are clueless about iTrade services. When it’s clearly mentioned on iTrade’s website that you can drop documents/application forms at any of Scotia Bank branches, these people straight away denied on my face saying that we don’t do it here. Not even showing some effort in checking first with someone. I had to tell them that I have done it before and that’s what is mentioned on their own website. And this has happened every single time (even at different branch locations) The teller always needs help from their supervisors and are clueless in answering basic questions. The person at the counter didn’t even have the courtesy of greeting the customer. It is always an unpleasant experience at this bank.

Your online application only works during business hours. I have tried every weekend since the last update to the app. It does not work from 6pm Friday to 9am Monday. What's the point of the app if it doesn't work. It doesn't deserve even a one star

Arrived at this location after driving from work (Burlington) at 5: 01 and they all just stared at me. Tried calling at 4: 30 to ask someone to wait one extra minute for help on something that would have taken 2 mins of assistance and their phone services said they were already closed… tell me why you are only open until 5 when most people only get off work at that time? Everyone just looked at me in disgust because I arrived at 5: 01. Shame on your customer service, disgusting. Trying to make it to your bank to resolve an issue that is with YOUR BUSINESS!

I have spent 8 MONTHS trying to get SOMEONE to move on an estate account situation. I have completed all THEIR PAPERWORK AND THEN SOME. Customer service is non-existent. Many unreturned phone calls and emails (even ones originating from my lawyer). Half the time, you get a voicemail box and it says it's FULL? Worst customer service EVER.if any other industry treated their customers this way they'd be bankrupt in a month!

Terrible branch of a terrible bank. DO NOT go to this or any other Scotiabank expecting any compassion or customer service they are purely out to get your money.

Sadly they are not experienced, even basic transactions are a kind of challenge for the employees. I guess they are rotated pretty frequently and maybe only beginners work here. It was a good bank years ago, but now absolutely avoidable.

Trying to open a savings account with a large cash deposit, the automated system takes so long to get through because it just keeps talking about irrelevant stuff.i keep getting placed on hold then the phone keeps disconnecting on their end. Not worth the headache go somewhere else

This bank is a s*itshow. I told my mother to go in and redeem her mutual funds on the saturday before Feb 24 and they would not let us talk to an 'advisor' to redeem the assets to cash because they were 'all booked' - stup-d teller. Costed us a little money. Had to e-mail another 'advisor' and they wanted 'proof' of voice, and blabbed and waited another 3 days until Thursday before I made the e-mail in her stead screaming. Got out when TSX was -6% from all-time highs. Never ever let other people manage your money for you, they always seem to go on 'vacations' at convenient times.

Lost my card. Went in and not that bad of a line up. Plus the teller was funny, helpful and was new. Glad to see new faces and cheerful helpful staff.

Outstanding customer.service compared to downtown branch (Horrible Service) I'd walk here any day of the week, very helpful and very friendly just like a bank should be. Even the manager took the time to assist me (unlike downtown).

I don't deal with this institution as they are _.

We were pre-approved for a mortgage. Day of closing, our lawyer advised us $5000.short (explain this one). Bank said too bad although they previously crunched the numbers and Manager had also looked at it too. 'We almost lost the house but found a separate source to lend us the money on the condition we move the mortgage away from this institution very soon. The next day Scotia HQ called to apologize- too late.so long. Where were U when we needed the money the day before when this BS went down? They said they didn't understand why the extra funds couldn't be added. Extreme stress that day as we had an infant and between us trying to allocate the funds within the 12-hour deadline (advised by lawyer that we'd be sued by both buyer & seller if deal failed)
Yeah, Scotia Fairview, thanks for nothing but hardship!

This bank branch is a joke they hold your money from a check they should be thankful I even came there to cash it
