Banks that don't even have branches have better service then this one. This institutions will all be out of business soon.

My feedback primarily is about the new ScotiaBank branch, which was relocated approx.a year ago.

I can see some negative comments, but I must say that my experiences at this branch have been consistently positive.

A couple of months ago, I visited this branch, and what would have taken me more than a day to complete elsewhere was efficiently handled in just a few minutes. There's a lady on the far left of the row (Unfortunately, don’t know her name) who offered a new solution that I wasn't aware of. This saved me from having to travel to a distant branch & back.

Today, during my visit, while a teller was assisting me with my banking tasks, I asked a question about online transactions. The teller was already providing an answer, but another lady leaned in to ensure the response was as accurate as possible, saving me the inconvenience of returning to the branch.

Every staff member I've interacted with has been positive, respectful, & helpful.

Went here to make a change to my bank account. Teller told me she couldn’t do it because she would have to get approval from her manager and didn’t want to do so. Absolutely lazy customer service

I went to the Yonge and Eglinton location to replace a debit card and the attendant was not at all helpful. I had lost my wallet and other ID. I brought in some old ID and hoped that it would be enough to get at least get started along with some authentication questions proving my identity. They insisted that I visit my home branch that is across the city and one that I have not been to since I opened my bank account. I would caution people from going to this location.or banking with Scotia

I had a booked appointment with one of their advisors by phone call and they didn't call me or bother to send me an email due to the missed appointment. Unbelievable terrible service and courtesy

I chose this branch as the primary location in dealing with my mortgage due to the close proximity of Yonge & Eglinton. This poor decision resulted in a year long process for a title change that should’ve taken 3 months.

The advisor I originally dealt with left for another bank without any notice from anyone else at the branch. After 3 months without any response I decided to reach out to the branch and was then informed that no one had taken over my inquiry.

I was then assigned to another Financial Advisor, Mandeep Bassan, who would consistently flip flop between which documents I did and didn’t require to prove my income. I went as far as informing Mandeep when I would be driving 6 hours back home to retrieve the needed documents from my father. Mandeep responded that the documents weren’t required and that he would move ahead without them. I returned to Toronto 3 days later and was then informed by Mandeep that he was wrong and the documents were required. This meant I would need to drive another 6 hours to retrieve them.

Another Financial Advisor, Kyle Kim, really proved the incompetence of this branch as he used the information from my father’s bank statement to withdraw a fee from his account (information that I didn’t provide him with directly). Luckily my father’s bank picked up on this transaction and questioned it right away. After speaking to my lawyer about this matter I was informed that it’s not even legal for a bank to use confidential information in this way. The response from Kyle Kim was “I thought you would be okay with it”.

Eventually I brought these issues to the Assistant manager, Stephen Lada, who was in full agreement that his financial advisor stepped far outside of his boundary and fully understood my frustrations. From that point on I requested that both previous financial advisors were removed from my file and I dealt with Stephen Directly.

If you choose this location with the impression it will be convenient due to the close proximity to Yonge & Eglinton please think again. After this experience I fully intend to switch to a completely different bank altogether to handle my mortgage.

Very nice and helpful staff. They care for customers’s issues and they go above and beyond. Especially I had recent very good experience with Cameron. All other staff is also very helpful.

I do business banking with them. I also got my business loan from them. The team at this location is amazing. When it comes to business loan, you would definitely need someone who is dedicated and wise advisor. Matthew v.was definitely that person. I have been with TD for over 15 yrs. Now I want to do all my banking with Scotiabank at this branch specifically!

Worst experience ever. Branch reps dont know a thing about transfers, getting answers like "we don't know". The manager and assistant managers are even more incompetent, they are never free, never return phone calls or emails.

If you want to keep your relationship with Scotia Financial institutions please stay away from this Branch. I have visited this Branch few weeks ago to moving my Business services to this Branch, waited more than 30 minutes, later a lady in the front counter told me that their Finacial business advisor is busy. She wrote down my phone number and informed me that i will get a call soon. Noting happened till today.

One of the most awful branches ever. No one knows what they're doing. Cancelled and moved my appointment twice! When I finally got an appointment, the advisor made so many mistakes inputting my info and rushed me because they apparently squeezed me in between appointments.

My husband and I booked an appointment for opening business accounts couple of days ago. It was with a man named Matthew Vessio. He has got to be the most unfriendly person I’ve ever met. Excruciatingly straightforward and absolutely disinterested in providing us any sort of banking assistance and was quite rude about us not have carried some documents. He was quick to have us out of his office and leave a very sour impression of him and of Scotiabank as an institute in general. I have decided to close all accounts and have already opened my business and personal accounts in TD where the difference in customer service and just the feeling of being around friendly Canadians was felt immediately. I give it a 1 star rating just cuz the atms were nice to use

Tanya L.is the most professional person in banking, she has great personality and understanding of her job. As a customer I am pleased to meet her, I got clear explanations for all my questions and concerns

The advisers could not help me about the required task to be done the preferred package which would give 300$-350$. However, I could get advice from some friends.

Extremely rude staff, they froze my saving account which I had been depositing money to on a monthly basis and they couldn’t even tell me why. The last straw was yesterday when their financial advisor, Daniel A, called my mother to discuss a matter with her account and drilled her with the most racist questions I have ever heard! Needless to say, my entire family will be closing their accounts with this extremely discriminatory institution.

As a bank I don’t like Scotiabank 7-8 year being customer with them every account I have, I have with them chequing, business momentum plus, saving.
They don’t offer anything like, line of credit, or visa.
Scotiabank likes only the fees to grab or collect.
I’m going to close all the account with this bank. Useless bank.

By far the worst branch, let alone bank I have ever worked with. If you want to sign with a bank that is impossible to get ahold of, has crazy turnover in their department, and makes it very difficult to bank with - this is your bank.

Isabella is really a fabulous financial adviser. She's very professional, friendly, and helpful. She very patiently explained things in very details for me. Recommend you to find her in the branch if you need financial service!

Don't go to this branch. They always quote the wrong exchange rate if you are selling USD. I came today and they quote me 1.3610 if I sell USD to CAD. And then when I came the cashier told me that it would be 1.2810.also the manager Peter gave the worst customer service. This is my first time having this situation with Scotia. If you want to exchange monye don't go to this location.
