If I could give it no stars I would!

Had to use the drive thru to get to a bank machine as no access at all to the ones in the building. Three people STANDING in the drive thru ahead of me.

When I finally got to the machine, NO OPTION TO WITHDRAW! A bank branch that doesn't let people take out their own money. WTH? !? !

Making me rethink using Scotia if this is what their moving to!

The other reviews say everything. Absolutely terrible, couldn’t find their way out of a paper bag. The branch manager has a man-bun and lame tattoos. No professionalism throughout the entire branch. As a business owner, go to National Bank, they are a thousand times better.

The most horrible customer service one can ever get. The Branch manager and other managers run from speaking to the customer, they just need to understand that the customer’s are the ones that are keeping them in business. Donna Green and other associates do not know how to treat people. Any matter you put up against them they would say we would escalate but in branch won’t do anything. Because of this type of branch no one would trust in Scotiabank.

We sent a wire for deposit for a very large real estates deal and provided them with very clear instruction. They sent the money the wrong way and cause for a ripple effect of a lot of issues. We had to send the same wire through TD bank with same instructions and it went right away. Usually it takes a few days 3-5 business days to get a return wire… it’s been 2 weeks and still no solution. When we asked them to help us resolve this after multiple visits they gave the same response we can’t do anything and showed zero care or urgency in resolving the matter. One of the staff even said “why don’t you tell me what to do” and another “why are you blaming me”. The customer service and care is very bad and I highly suggest anyone looking to wire or do their banking to go else where.

Booked an online appointment to get my account updated, thought of applying a new credit card, Justin Pulford was helpful with applying a credit card for me but due to system issues/ false information he ran 3 credit applications.and lied to me that it’s just 2 credit applications, well he said “100% it won’t effect your credit score”. I hope it won’t other than that my experience was good

This bank has gone down hill over the last 10 + years, the ATMs use to be available 24/7 now they lock the doors after hours, didn't see a saving when we stopped paying for full service. The drive thru ATM is rarely working either leaving me to do alot of banking at other banks.

Update 2022 they have now closed on Saturdays this branch sucks. It's dirty rarely clean, the outside atm the only one you can use after hours or on weekend is never cleaned like spit graffiti blood on it at times it's gross here

Update 2023 there is now two huge pot holes in the parking lot right when you turn the blind corner.blood and graffiti still on only available ATM

I can't be that impressed with Scotia.
They have changed my bank account to so called IN BRANCH TRANSACTIONS ONLY ACCOUNT!
Its not from this branch.apparently from head office.
That means no internet banking, no card etc
U show up in a branch deposit and withdraw only at the wicket.
Not any other branch.thats all

Worst bank in all over Ontario want to increase my debit limit and she is saying you need more funds for the limit increase worst service not satisfied and rude staff just like state bank of india lady on the side desk was worst lady not doing according to the demand of customer

Poor customer service. Surely the branch need better staff to assist customers. Went there thrice and none of the time my issue was resolved.

The hours are ridiculous! This bank is closed on weekends, the drive through never works for deposits and you can’t get to the bank machines when it’s closed. They may as well close the branch. People who work for a living can’t go there. They are taking advantage of the pandemic hours and won’t bring it back because they don’t want to pay for employees.

Went to the branch to get a new debit card and showed proof to update the address on the file, guess what it was not updated and I still have the old address on the file. (I know I can change the address on the website but not sure why lady at the branch was not able to update it, I had showed 3 different proofs with same address)

My friend had account in scotiabank and he was victim of fraud but happily scotiabank employees showed racism and closed his account. I was talking to an employee and instead of maintaining work environment the manager was talking loudly with his employees as if it was his home. My worst experience with scotiabank they need to change their staff

The staff is so rude including the branch manager. Idk if they call that protocol but I’ll never deal with em again. Scotiabank should do something about them.

I’ve been to this branch twice and will never be back, the first encounter was awful there was 5 tellers open and 7 customers with 45 mins left to close but the lady managing the teller booths decided to close it down to 2 tellers and needless to say 4 out of us 7 customers didn’t leave until AFTER CLOSE 50 mins to cash a check is just insane it was so bad the customers were actually laughing and instead of easily correcting the problem the lady managing the teller booths was just running around trying to close the branch early.

I pay fees to access my money. On a Saturday they are closed. When people are finished work and need to talk to their rep they are closed. Terrible service.

Haha. They deleted my review. Well, I want to advise anyone who is thinking of switiching their Commercial accounts to Scotia, DONT. I had thefts out of my commercial business account. No big deal, things happen. However, when trying to request an investigation into the issues, no one would do so.

In addition, one of my business accounts suddenly started displaying another, completely unrelated businessess' info! When I tried to get it resolved, I was given the Branch Manager's info. I was looking to have the thefts from my business account, and this new issue where my account displays another company's info, dealt with immediately, and after 3 Voicemails left and 3 emails directly to the Branch Manager, absolutely no reply.

Thankfully, someone at the commercial teller was able to simply pass on a phone number to try and get the issuues resolved.

As a business owner, if any of my managers failed to address a serious issue such as this, they would be fired. Yet, this branch manager recieved 6 requests for service and didn't even have the professionalism or decency to call me back. Pathetic. When I was in the branch a few days ago, the assistant manager heard my issues (his office is right beside the commercial tellers) and he looked at me, and pulled out his phone to check his instagram or other social media. Again what a fantasitc display of professionalism from Scotia's managers. Losers. The assistant manager was walking around with tattoos all over and a man bun. Top notch professionalism guys.

As an entrepreneur, we wear 100 hats in a day, and when we have serious issues such as those that I have detailed, we need it resolved ASAP to continue business. The 'managers' Collier Scotia branch are absolutely unprfessional and useless. The assistant manager was on Facebook or some other social media platform, as when I was trying to figure this all out, he was scrolling on his phone, playing videos and laughing at them.

It was beyond frustrating, and frankly it was slightly humiliating to be brushed off with such little regard.

The bank did nothing wrong, and I wouldn't suggest avoiding Scotia all togther, but as far as commercial goes, the Branch Manager and Assistant Managers have been aware of this issue for quite some time, and to not even return a call? I would fire them both without a second thought, just lazy, apethetic and unessecary.

I really hope this helps someone from experiencing the same aggrevations that I did.
