Went there to get my balance certificate for immigration purposes. Everything went all right and it didn’t even took me 5 minutes!

There is a whole bunch of young people didn't know axactly what they are doing without properly managing of themselves and didn't care too much of the customer's concerns.

Very poor customer service. She was very rude. She don’t know how to talk with customer. Her name is anshuka gupta. If we (customer) got this type of behaviour from your employee its better to change the bank. Even after the review management will not take action so that in future customer get spectacular customer service.

I have been dealing with Scotiabank for many years but this is the worst location branch I encountered! Not coming back to this location!

I hope this is the worst branch of Scotiabank. The service and the attitudes are impeccable. They have no ability to do their job in a professional and efficient way, and they have the attitude like you own them the world. Every experience I have here is disappointing.

Extremely bad customer service and lack of responsibility. I applied for a credit card and they approved and sent it to this branch in a week. They did not inform me about and lost the card. When I called to collect the card a month later they asked to apply for a new card in person. I called credit solutions and they cancelled the previous card and issued a new one. When i went to collect it from the branch they had the card but none of my info other than name. Wasted another hour just to type in all the info that i had provided to the bank while applying for the card based on which they approved the card.

Very poor service. From last two months I am trying to book my appointment but nobody reply Email and answer the phone call. Sheron bakish she is so rude and attituded. She asked me to give her 10 star rating pn her service servy email. Sheron never reply back my email and calls are always on voice mail.

Horrible customer service and the associate who opened my account made no efforts to understand my needs and kept asking for my signature without explaining why I am signing. Easily the worst banking experience I’ve ever had.

Worst branch ever. Told me to wait for their call and I Waited for 3 months and I Keep calling them but no return calls at all. I have to travel more than an hour to go to this branch yet asked me to go home coz the issue still unsolved.

They arbitrarily declared me deceased. I had to go there with tons of ID and proof that I wasn't dead (found out through a friend at another branch). When I asked how they could do that to me, they simply said, "oh someone set a wrong flag", no apology, no sympathy, no explanation of how someone could just do that, even though I was shaking and visibly disturbed. I'd been banking with them for > 25 years.

Worst experience ever with this bank.
Been 4 months now that I have been trying to connect with their representatives but no one seems to care. More frustrating part is if I visit the branch along with my query, they ask to call customer care number. Constantly kept on hold 20/30mins. Disgusting!

Extremely poor customer service and very unprofessional manager. She flat out lied to me about cashing a bank draft. You would think that a major bank writing you a draft is as good as cash. But not at this location of Scotiabank, they refused to deposit a Bank Draft from CIBC into my business account without a 5 day hold, basically accusing me of depositing a fraudulent check. What is the sense of paying for a Bank Draft or Certified Check otherwise? I would advise against banking with this location of Scotia. I called into Client Care and even they were surprised at the actions of the manager of this branch.

If you want to experience perfect banking and how financial institution staff must be.just go to this branch of Scotiabank.
We did both personal and business banking with them and they are the best we'd ever been to.

We came across almost everyone in the staff hence not naming any personnel! Kudos!

I wanted to change my SCENE student card to the cashback one (L'earn Visa Card) because I don't have time to go to movies and very limited restaurants in the list. The first employee there I met said as it is possible, so I made an appointment and asked for exchanging my card the other day. When the person I made the appointment with was just about to file the form, suddenly, another employee appeared and said they don't issue the cashback card anymore although I can still see both cards on the Scotia website. I said I don't go to movies and restaurants, but she insisted that SCENE card is the better one. I was very disappointed to Scotia bank not only by I was unable to change the card that is more useful to me, but also by I wasted my 2 days for nothing.

Great service and friendly staff at the Scotiabank STC location. I recently transferred my accounts here and have received nothing but the best of the best service. Ivy and her manager have been beyond helpful in answering my questions and addressing my concerns.

I went to Scotia Bank (at STC) 2 days ago to get some cash, I left some stuff on the countertop when I left. I went back 2 days later and met a staff (named Lisalle), and luckilly she was the one I met b4, and she told me she kept my stuff for me. She is a good and honest staff. I give her 2 thumps up.

Customer Service Is very bad and i have waisted half hour. Terrible Service and i have decided not to continue with Scotia Bank.

I've been banking with Scotiabank for years. Over 10 years. The experience I had today at this Scarborough town center location was beyond ridiculous. You have a huge lineup and 15 staff members ignoring you and continuing on with other things except customer care. The branch manager Debbie Shanu literally went to a certain race over everyone else in line to make sure they get service. You're to look out for ALL CUSTOMERS.

Most other banks have atms that are accessible even if the mall is closed. Unfortunately, Scotiabank believes that is absurd and no one should be able to access an atm if the mall is closed. Rumor has it that their slogan is changing from banking has never been more rewarding to banking has never been so inconvenient or banking has never been so frustrating. It's a toss up imho because either is far more accurate than the bullsh! T & lies.

I have visited the STC branch on May 10th, extremely poor customer service. This is my first time online review. Elizabeth Fuentes, the one who helped me, is one of the worst. No greeting and kept chatting with the guy who sat next to her. Not helpful and seemed like she also does not really care what the customer need. Furthermore, the way she acts is really annoying me. If there is a zero out of 5, I’ll definitely rate it for her.

I have visited scarborough town centre branch on 6th of March 2019. Extremely poor customer service. Reception lady was so rude. She doesn't care about customers.

When I came to create bank account with my friends, I waste a lot of time to talk to receptionist to make appoinment. Finally, I think she helped us, but no. Then I came back scotiabank near my house, it was very easy and done in short time.

Still waiting and waiting and waiting.taken appointment o f 11 its 12 pm.and Gic no activated. Not cooperation.not punctual.

Terrible customer service at this branch. Reps have no idea what they are doing. I have been running around them from branch to branch to solve a very simple issue. Each time they give a number to call to and the call centre says visit branch. For an unexplained reason CAD 452 have been deducted from my acct and no one at any level is able to help me. Hope a senior officer reads this and respond.

OMG This Bank is at the Pinnacle of bad customer service. I forgot the Card and had to have a draft prepared in my name. I asked the call center before going in that would it be possible without the card and i was told it should be fine but i have to present two Pieces of identity. At the Bank they declined to serve me without the card and blatantly said that whoever informed me over the phone at the Scotia Bank call center does not have any understanding of banking procedures.

Guess what i went to another branch immediately after and had no issues. I believe they have different procedures in place based who you are and how you look. I am definitely moving all our family accounts to another Bank ASAP and no one deserves this kind of treatment.
