Small business service is the worst here! Weeks to reply, they get everything wrong and the weeks to reply again. They always get the cards wrong.

Terrible service at this branch, recently i have contacted this branch 851 Golf Links Rd, Ancaster, ON L9K 1L5 regarding some documents that i needed urgent.i called Parth shah one of the financial advisor at the branch that i dealt with him in past.he did not answer my phone and it was his his voice mail.i left a voice mail with my phone number, name and request for a call back.i called him on April 05 2023 and waited patiently for his call back unfortunately he did not call back and then i called him again couple times but no answer.so i needed the document urgent i went to the branch on April 12 2023 to see if he can help me or maybe his manager.when i arrived there i asked the front desk about Parth shah the guy said that he is on his lunch break and he can not see you now you have to come back in an hour.i was driving all the way from east side of the city to this branch which is located in the west side.it took me 30 minutes drive
i was really frustrated and asked if i can see his manager, luckily the manager was available i explained everything and he asked another bank employee to draft the letter and handed me.when i get the letter the manager even did not say sorry or apology for what had happened in 8 days that i have been experiencing with one his employs.i will defiantly not go to this branch any more and will change my bank forever with scotia bank. BAD SERVICE.

This branch is the best I have working with. Customer service is outstanding, staff is professional and courteous. They take care for customers. Assistant Manager, Nick is always available to help. Joe, Branch Manager is outstanding. I wish other branches practice and act same way.

I would not recommend this branch to anyone. Tellers and staff are rude and severely lack customer service.

Very bad customer service, don't respond to emails and after 3 months still waiting for my daughter's credit card.
Chose another bank, will be less headaches and much better service.

Terrible location, not even worth 1 star. Both of the tellers I interacted with were extremely rude and disrespectful towards me. I will never return to this branch ever again.

I had to deposit my OSAP cheques and the first teller (blonde who sits closest to the exit) was so rude and tried to catch me in a lie (there was no lie). She kept asking me weird questions and instigating on what the cheques were and how they were given to me. She wouldn’t even finish the conversation she started (she would ask me something and when I responded, she would completely ignore me and look away). When I left I saw that she put a hold on half of my cheque (which is NOT supposed to happen with government cheques). Whatever her reasoning was, it wasn’t for the right one that’s for sure. I went back inside to ask why there was an hold and the second teller (short brown hair sitting beside her) wouldn’t even greet me or welcome me to her desk. When I asked about the hold she was trying to instigate and catch me in a lie like the first girl. They were playing with their words to try and confuse me and cause unnecessary confusion. It made 0 sense as to why they were asking me trick questions and being blatantly racist towards me. She then took the hold off and I left. This left me questioning; if the second girl can take it off so easily, why was it on there in the first place? I was going to ask but I was too frustrated and embarrassed to even think at that point.

This is unprofessional and extremely disrespectful. There is nothing worse than being a black and indigenous student trying to focus on education in this day and age. What happened today was a perfect example of how I am treated daily, but from a bank? Unacceptable. Racial profiling is a serious issue and this bank needs to be held accountable for this. I will not let this incident be forgotten.

I would hate for someone to experience what I have at this location. It might be a good idea to look into racial and discrimination training because clearly the tellers aren’t fully educated on that issue there.

If I could have someone reach out to me I would greatly appreciate it. I would hate for this bank to be known as horrible customer service, poor service, and racist.

They wrote down wrong transit number for international wire transfer. When I went back to ask, Janette was very impatient to explain. Worst service literally, and pretty shocking.

We prebooked an appointment with Chelse for a non-cash transaction. When we reached the branch she directed us to the teller saying that it can be done there. And the teller took almost half an hour to get the profile set up which could have been easily done by Chelse without holding up the tellers. Secondly we were told that it takes time to have a joint account reflected in the profile and asked us to come after a few days to set up the online banking. Cut to next week we come back for the rest of the formalities and we are told that system has not been updated yet and we were not even informed of the delay. Very disappointed with Scotia bank. There is an urgent need for there systems to be upgraded otherwise no one in their right minds would open a bank account there.

Assistant Manager Nick has absolutely terrible customer service. I'd be happy to elaborate if this bank eventually decides to respond to these reviews.

Chelsea helped me set up a line of credit for my new car. The whole process was very easy, and everyone I dealt with was very pleasant. Everyone behind the counter was very helpful and friendly as well.

Been trying to get a hold of the branch manager to transfer a visa card replacement to the Toronto branch. Left them a voicemail for a call back to hopefully get this card transferred but its been next to impossible to get a hold of some one at the branch. Call Centre said it would be faster for me to receive the card if I sent it to a branch but at this point seems to be much longer.very disappointed, call centre was supposed to setup a virtual card and they didnt know if that was possible.

I went to the branch to cancel my scene Visa card and close one saving account. The lady there helped me close my saving account but she asked me to call to cancel my credit card. I called and I waited 20 minutes to speak to an agent. I asked the agent if I can go to branch to close my credit card, he said yes, any branch. So obviously, not this branch. I got the feeling that Scotiabank doesn’t value their customers time. So no surprise that you got 2.6/5.

I've never dealt with anything worse. Service needs to improve. Other Scotia locations are much more helpful and friendly.
