Scotia has to be the worst bank in Canada. They randomly lock you out of your money. Apply ridiculous fees and they close at 5. This branch has terrible customer service and after 25 years with them its time to move on. Clearly my business isn't important to them

Horrible service! The people there don't know what they're doing, are so rude and unprofessional. They just try to get you out the door without listening to your concerns. Will never be banking with them again!

The worst customer service ever we received in our banking experience. We have been banking with Scotia since 2014 and we never had a night mare experience with any other banks or other branches. The staffs at the desk don't know what to do and give wrong information to customers without even confirming with managers or other experienced staffs. I encourage everyone to avoid accessing this Scotia Branch.

Husband's locked out of his online account so we can't even pay our bills.
And now my cheq is being held after years of no holds. Why is it so problematic here? The only good thing about this bank is Giannina. She deserves 5 stars

The tellers don't know what they are doing. They always try to blame customers for their own ignorance despite being rude to customers as well. Worst branch ever. They need some good training for their positions.

Bad customer service I went to make a deposit here and the girl put it as a withdrawal and after I went back to fix the problem someone sent a link and I opened it and made a payment thinking it was Netflix and some made a withdrawal of 100 dollars 10 times from the same business and the bank said they didn't find anything suspicious and when I checked the business online it didn't exist and withdrawal was done somewhere in Quebec. I lost my money and they don' take responsibility

Worst bank experience, the manager of the bank has no idea how to communicate or do their job properly, I feel strongly sorry for the employees that have to be in her environment.

I have seen people that work within the bank and they seem great and I'm sure the odd teller is great
but this branch has horrible tellers they are so rude they are not helpful
I hate anytime I have to enter this bank because It's always a bad experience they can suck the good mood out of anyone
such rude miserable people working there definitely a group of staff that have zero customer service
I would highly recommend going to another branch
I use to love banking with Scotia till this became my closest branch

Want to withdraw some cash. Instead of my Line of credit the bank teller withdraw from credit card and funny thing is I have mentioned it few times before the transaction.

Very friendly and nice staffs. We did not have appointment but came in to ask and met a financial advisor at the door waiting for his appointment. He right away brought us in his office and helped with solution and info for couple mins til his appointment showed up. That helped us a lot when we didn’t know what should do. After that 2 tellers were very nice that helped us as well. Very good experience with this branch for the 1st time although they are not our home branch.

They steal money from you, they are very unhelpful, and they have no appreciation for their customers, the ladies there are so dry.

No class, no pride, no manners… no problem for me, I found another bank, and they gladly got my business.

Don't understand how come you're only open to 4pm during the week and all the other banks are open later

How does anybody get any money when the ATM Machines are locked? Isn't the point of them is so they can be accessed when the bank is not open?
And what's with the hours? I work full Time, as many others do!
Who can be there between 9: 30 - 4?
Customer service is horrible with 20 plus minutes waiting!

Nice Friendly staff, always clean premises, ATM all over town. Very easy mobile app usage. Can deposit your checks by way of mobile banking.

I supposed to have an appointment with this branch on Monday Jan 24th, 2022, at 12: 00PM over the phone, but no body call back then. I called them today to have my problem solved, and I have been waiting for 35 minutes now to have someone pick-up the phone and assets me with no luck!

I've had a bad experience with Emma Sweet, she doesn't return calls or emails and prolongs the step to closing an account and misplaces her notes on what you would like to have done so she just comes up with whatever she thinks that needs to be done. Trying to close your accounts with them is impossible she gives you the run around and also fake passwords to sign in accounts to sign documents. Very unprofessional.

By far the worst service I’ve ever seen at a bank. Poorly managed staff that literally don’t have an ounce of empathy when it comes to dealing with people. Branch hours are a joke as well, if you’re going to be open from only 9: 30-4 atleast be open one day on the weekend. Was supposed to get a call from an escalation I put in about this branch and not surprised that I never heard from the branch manager. Who ever is in charge of this place needs to be fired. Happily going to be moving my business and accounts back to BMO. Not to mention the tellers have control over a cheque hold policy, I was at a branch and in line for 30 minutes and by the time I got to the counter they were ready to close. I asked if they could remove a hold on a cheque for me and they said no, which is fair if there was some sort of justification. After talking to their service rep I was told it would be easier just to go to a different branch, as likely they didn’t remove the hold simply because they were about to close and didn’t want to. This branch is a joke, I loved scotia bank until dealing with the people that work here. Won’t be back.

I have call the help centre twice last week and got the run around. After that I called two people from my branch lasted Thursday…. Still waiting for a call back. Today I called the help centre again, two people got disconnected and the last person could get in to my account because of there questions. Account that I don’t use very much. I asked to speak to a manager… I was told the person on the phone he could do nothing. He didn’t even come to the phone.
It’s time to move banks.

This branch has horrible customer service! My husband went in there to cash a sole proprietor cheque for an upcoming job and instead of helping him open up a business account or informing him of ways he can cash the cheque they told him to leave the store and call to make an appt. They belittled him and degraded him in a public branch, the manager acted completely unprofessional! He felt violated and had employees circle in on him which made him feel threatened! At that point my husband left with assertiveness and they called the police to say he damaged their property, which he did not and police said he did not damage any of their property! This branch is discriminating and have zero customer service skills. Even when he tried to plead with them they still treated him like a child and left him with know answers and now a job he cant buy supplies for.

ATM doors are locked during off hours. Terribly inconvenient for those of us that work nights and can't make regular business hours.

Worst experience ever. The security system for Scotiabank is a joke. They do not process fraud related requests soon enough.

Best customer service went to seven other scotiabank's and they would not or could not help me with my problem this Bank took time to fix my problem

To much Misunderstandings first they told me to come after 2 days than when I went there they told me to come tomorrow and than at last they told me to get my documents which was not even mentioned in my email. It’s Better to go at other branch. Overall bad customer service.

Very disappointed with customer service at this location. Both the teller and the branch manager, clearly are not interested in helping their customers. Very rude. I received better service with customer service on the telephone. I will be switching to another branch.

I am deeply disturbed by the actions of this bank. I was discriminated against. Let's get this place closed for a bank more loving and accepting of community living.

Tried depositing money in the ABM machine. Some of the money lost in the machine.
Visited the bank thrice to fix the issue.
No one cared for my problem. Tried calling the branch to follow up, no one picks up the phone.
Really bad customer service!
This is not what I expect from Scotia Bank.
