I had a terrible experience with Scotiabank today.
I went to buy some US dollar and surprisingly when I got my receipt rate on web site and in a branch was different and stuff made me feel like it’s my fault I didn’t know about it.
I understand it’s all done my software but at least they could take a official complaint from me.
And show some empathy.

I’m strongly suggesting to work on improving customer satisfaction.

Worst location. When in to deposit money and the atm wasn’t working. I came back an hour later and they decided to close early because the employees had a “busy” morning. Unprofessional!

Terrible service. I have no idea why people choose to bank with them.

First of all, they have ridiculous wait times. I was never able to get through. Secondly, they're closed on Saturdays, so I couldn't even pop in to speak to a teller; had to leave during my workday, and even then my visit was completely useless.

All I've been wanting to do is open a UK account, as according to their website, this is possible and they're the only bank in Canada to have this option. Well, this info is false-their website is entirely misleading. The teller in Liberty Village wasn't able to clearly explain to me why I couldn't open one and how it works. And when I asked follow-up questions, looking evidently confused, he was extremely short with me and rude. Sorry for disturbing you?

Never thought i would get such an experience from Scotiabank. Teller named Angud was probably the worst Scotiabank employee i have ever met. There was some concerns regarding depositing my paycheque and was told to wait until the manager arrives to get them done. I waited for 25 minutes and when the manager arrived, she started helping other people and when it was supposed to be my turn, i was told to follow the line again by Angud. What was the point of my wait time? A real bad service, felt discriminatory.

Excellent customer service from Camille and Chris. I have never had any issues, I have been banking here since day one.

WORST customer service ever. Walked in and no one was to be seen. Stood in the middle of the room and waited for a teller to appear. Teller was mediocre (no name badge) and supervisor Camilla was horrible. Went to another location and had my issue handled without issue.

Avoid this place at all costs. Worst customer service I have ever received from a bank. Im not the only one, just read the other reviews. Camille has zero respect, lacks honesty and offered poor customer service.
