All in all, Scotiabank is a terrible bank. They do not respect your time (I had a phone appointment at 9am and I have still not reached out to me as of 9: 45am), they will minimally help you in issues you are having and they will not disclose you with important information regarding your account- ultimately making it your fault when issues come up (and I assure you they will). Use somewhere else, even though all banks will ensure that the house always wins. Maybe we should all start keeping our money in our mattresses.

Only the drive thru atm is open after branch hours, and it doesn’t even work, won’t process your transaction or give withdrawals. Pretty inconvenient when you can’t get cash out from your local branch on a Saturday afternoon.

NEHA is absolutely amazing, she offered the highest level of customer service! She is very professional and so efficient. She went above and beyond to help us with our banking. The whole staff are friendly and helpful.

We went there for update some of my banking accounts and they are unprofessional as well they don’t have washroom for their customers.
West of time and effort will say avoid visiting this branch if you can.

Being a Scotiabank customer for many years and have dealing with many branches, this branch has to be by far the worst! I booked an appointment, the duration was 45 minutes and i was just 13 minutes late which means i still had 32 minutes left for my appointment. But when I went there there was nobody to attend, then i found Michael’s office. He is the rudest FA ever. Even though i still had time left, he said he has moved on to the next one, you have to schedule another one. When i asked if you can do anything because i can not come another day. He said wait here i will find another person for you. I just waited there for another 7 minutes and lady came to me and said you have to book another one because you were late. Michael moved to the next one. I asked if he moved to the next one then next spot would be open, i can wait till that time. She said it doesn’t work like that. I mean what is that you can attend someone else in my time but can not attend me in someone else’s time.

Really awful customer service. Went in to close my accounts and boy was I glad I did. Every single teller had an attitude with the customers. One older lady teller was especially snooty with an older gentleman who was trying to work the pin pad.security guard wouldn’t be courteous and open the door for me as he stood at the front door watching me struggle with my stroller and the doors. No questions as to why I was closing my accounts, it was obvious they didn’t care. Soooo glad I made the switch to another bank who goes over and above for me and my family.

The self service machine stole $400 and I couldn’t get it back. It was after 4: 30 so there were no tellers. I called the Scotiabank number and the rep said I would have to go back the next day when the bank is open. I live 3 hours away so I had to stay here another day so it was already inconvenient. Once I got to the bank, there was this sign posted on the front door. So now I have to stay here another day, miss my work shifts back home, and still missing $400. Nice.

Caroline is the best. I had a mishap with the Centre Mall branch and she sorted it out for me, no problem. We need more tellers like Caroline.

If i could i would give a zero star …. Customers are treated very rudely …i want to mention the name “Ayesha” worst customer service representative ever …. Won’t ever go to this branch …. I have read other reviews and could see other people were treated with this unprofessional behaviour too

The service is great here and the representatives are always willing to do the most to help you. The best part is the line is not long usually but if it is it goes by very fast!

Being a Scotiabank customer for many years and have dealing with many branches, this branch has to be by far the worst! They have signs at the teller counters saying they strive to provide excellent customer service every time, yet customer service does not exist at this branch!

I get a paper paycheque from my employer and despite cashing many of them, this branch chooses to hold the cheque each and every time. The excuse I get is that I’m not dealing with my home branch.

I live too far away from my home branch, but what difference should it make? Scotiabank is Scotiabank, regardless of what branch you deal with.

I understand there’s policies in place for certain reasons and I would understand if it was the first couple cheques to hold them. But this is getting out of hand.

If I went to literally any other bank (TD, BMO, etc.), they don’t treat their customers differently because of the “home branch” they’re supposed to deal with. I told the teller this and she told me I can take my cheque to one of those banks if I’d like.

To the Branch Manager Bryan Egan, you can thank the middle aged East Indian woman working on the counter today as to why my fiancée and I are leaving your bank. I really hope you see this review and use it for training and coaching purposes.

Sultana Hashemi a financial advisor here at this branch is a deceitful con and did not provide adequate information regarding the opening of a TSFA savings account! Disgusting sale practices pushing “alternative savings account to students”, that it would not affect future credit score. Beware they will say anything to make a sale. Disappointed with services.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH.

Discrimination at its best.

Koodos especially to Bryan Egan the branch manager and the branch assistant manager Julie nelson.

I guess lieing/threatening/ trying to intimidate a client is the solution.

My opinion You both need to be fired or this branch need to be close.

Everyone is entitle to thier rights and opinion!

Find them very busy, but always great service when dealing with them. Of course have some patience when queuing

Offered 25000 scene points for opening and account with scotia bank. Customer service agent on the phone assured me I would get the points. Then found out there was a bunch of rules in the fine print. An advisor at the bank told me incomplete info to be eligible and after six months of waiting for my points they stiffed me and gave me nothing. I am closing my account. Be wary of scene and scotia bank offers!

Terrible! Trying to reach the branch just to speak with someone is time consuming! Had to wait for an appointment, poor customer service, not a customer friendly bank or branch. Will be taking my money elsewhere!
