Too much inconvenience to deposit money or cheques at the ATM
I suggest that they remove this option and put a big sign, so people would not waste their time.based on my calculation, cheque deposits came with 70% failure and for Cash deposit it is 100% failure as it may deposit some of your bills and reject others.

I know the the reviews are so negative and somewhere I felt the same for all my past experience. But yesterday it was different story, I lost my debit card and released it around 4: 30 pm at work. I decided to risk it and reach scotia (it was supposed to be closed at 5) I was there by 4: 45. I won’t blame that other tow counters were closed as it was almost closing time. But there was this lady who name I am remembered well I think Shabana who helped me in that 15 mins.
I know getting a new debit is not a long process but in my case I didn’t have the id that was used but she still helped me with all she can. Honestly I felt really good about it and I am thankful to her.
So this review is just for her!

Worst banking ever
I had my safety deposit box with them, every year they don’t send me a letter but when I go to branch they charged me over fees. Very unprofessional & uncooperative staff. It happened to me twice
I wish I can rate them zero for their services.
Biggest mistake to open account with them.
Firstly they don’t inform customers about annual payments and when customers came to branch they charge over fee in hundreds.
Customer service is worst, I call them for good 35 min and at the end the agent hang up on me.
Never recommend anyone to banking with Scotia and specially the highway 27 branch where I go.

Worst service, I closed safe box and overloaded fees. I am unable to walk. 76yrold.have to visit for issue cashier no efficient, visit ed 20 March, now again have to call for taxi.

I like banking with Scotiabank and the frontline staff here are great. Unfortunately, I rarely have a positive experience here. The branch manager seems inexperienced and doesn't really know good customer experience. Empower your frontline to make decisions - everything needs to be checked with manager. Today, I asked for a bank draft and they base it on home branch in terms of what can be done with the fee. Great way to make it work like one team, one goal over there Scotiabank! Review your manager and customer experience training at this branch - great opportunity for improvement. Carmine will appreciate it.

Employees here just like to sit in their chairs without doing any work, asking customers to go to bigger locations. Such a waste of time.

I had an appointment for 12pm
They called me 11: 30am that the guy is not available.
The guy who was there was very rude may he was a manager.
He didn't even said a sorry to me once.
Never going there

Inexperienced staff. Don’t even know how to do wire transfer properly. Worst experience ever with Scotia
