Everyone at this branch is incompetent. I had to deposit a bank draft which is as good as cash and the teller, the woman sitting at the desk behind the teller as well as the assistant manager insisted on putting a hold on the bank draft which defeats the purpose of getting a bank draft in the first place. I wasted half an hour before leaving in disgust. I then went to another branch and the teller deposited it with no hold in a matter of seconds.

3k$ cash limit! You have got to be kidding! In bayview village the limit is lowest of any branch! And to order cash, only once a week! Worst bank location of any bank.horrible people inside bunch of angry grumpy old ladies

Very nice staff. The teller who served me named AMI was ever nicer. She helped me with everything. I’m not at all familiar with Canadian banking system she was so patient and helped me go through the whole process.

If you need anything else but a simple withdrawal or deposit, be prepared for a long interrogation with occasional involvement of the branch manager, in my case a brusque woman at times even less knowledgeable than the staff.
They are not familiar with their processes, at the same time very self-assured when they respond, and typically blame customers when a conflict turns up.
The worst bank branch in Toronto, at least in my case.

Their banking system is really really slow + really, really outdated.
You can tell the employees struggle with it - The lady who helped me wire money today to a German government office did a fantastic job in a situation where she was totally unfamiliar.
But the system was just battling against us every step of the way with a long line of people snaking behind me. Very stressful to do banking with Scotia.

Hi, Unfortunately I didn't get the agent's name but her id on the transaction slip is 041. I came in February 11. I had to renew the PIN# on my credit card. I had previously gone to a different Scotia branch and the agent there said that only Scotia Visa could reset my PIN, despite Scotia Visa telling me that I had to visit a branch. However Agent 041 calmly assured me that it could be done here and efficiently renewed my PIN. Because my credit card is technically listed under my wife's name, she told me IN ADVANCE, that she was going to double-check a few things to make sure I could properly use the credit card. Great advisors! I was referred to this branch for some day to day banking and everything was done very smoothly!

The tellers come off aggressive when being asked for anything other than a deposit or withdrawal.

I needed a document and the teller was looking at me as if im in the wrong bank.
