If I could give this branch negative stars I would. They froze our account without notifying us, they close early whenever they want. They are super unhelpful and never available when you actually need them to solve a problem. Do yourself a favour and choose a different location.

I’m new to this branch and was helped by Rajeev for my small business banking. I must say I had a more than stellar experience. He really made sure I was taken care of and went above and beyond to help me. New happy customer.

This branch used to have 8 wickets and a dedicated business wicket. After renovation, they are down to 5 wickets and no business wicket. At best, 3 wickets are staffed. Sometimes only 1. The wait time to see a teller is about 30 minutes in line with many people turning around when they see the line up is to the door. The branch needs to get ahold of its staffing issue.

This branch is very poorly managed and staffed.
This has been my branch for the past few years and I can tell you that trying to resolve any kind of request or issue here is always a huge pain.
I initially thought it might’ve just been one “advisor” but I have since had several different “advisors” over the past 2 years and to varying degrees they have all been very poor at their job.
Every time I go in there its all promises and smiles but nothing gets done properly. I had to wait over a month to find out the status of my loan. They open accounts and then forget to issue cards. They submit applications but forget to include information I provide. Moreover, workers lie and are unapologetic. They seldom respond to emails or phone calls and are repeatedly “sick” or on leave. This is ridiculous, this is supposed to be a bank but it’s run very unprofessionally by a branch manager who ostensibly puts minimum effort into decent customer service and has carelessly lost control of his employees. Clients should think twice about banking here.

Ms. Marian assisted me today and she was so polite and patient with me. I really appreciate her for being super helpful and friendly.

I like Scotiabank but how does a big bank like this in the capital of Canada not have ONE french speaking person who could help my mother with a loan application?
