Sign on front door says atm is open until 10pm today yet they locked it early thanks…

I've been a loyal customer of the Scotiabank branch on Yonge St in Aurora for many years. Over time, I've found their customer service to be consistently unfriendly and unhelpful. However, today's experience took it to a new low. When I sought assistance from the branch manager, Ash, I was met with indifference. Instead of addressing my concerns, Ash responded with a dismissive "I don't care" and even suggested I close my account. It's disappointing to realize that not only does this branch seem indifferent to its customers, but it also appears to have no regard for its own reputation. How are we, as customers, supposed to feel valued and respected in such an environment?

Worst customer service I have ever experience from a bank branch. This Bank Manager Donato Selveggi is never there and never responds. Staff refuse to provide his contact information. I complained to the assistant bank manager that the bank card they promised in 2-3 days was never provided and 1 week later was still not delivered. Then 1 week later a two letters arrive in the mail stating that customer service complaint was investigated and there was no issue and everything was resolved? There seems to be a specific issue at this branch with poor customer service and people covering there mistakes.

This is surprising, as Scotia Banks Service in the past at other branches has been excellent. I hope they sort this out sooner than later.

Both ATM machines at this branch are not trustworthy. I deposited money into the left side machine and it took at least 10 minutes for the cash deposit to finally post to my account. This was via Tangerine, in all the years never experienced such a glitch. At least it went through. I don't trust the machines at this branch.

Since when is “yeah man” an appropriate way to address a customer (several times) ? The teller could not have been more checked-out and indifferent. Was more interested in checking his phone than paying attention to the customer (with eyes glazed over). Time to tighten up on the hiring process.

I worked at this branch as a security guard.
The staff are nice and professional. Their behaviour is great.

Especially the assistant manager: Michael.
He is the nicest person I've ever seen.

One more nice professional staff: Keyvan.
He's an advisor and he is a very nice and welcoming person.

I had a pleasant time talking to mentioned staff members and I'm pretty sure you'll have the same.

I will recommend this branch to everyone.
