Made an appointment to set up an RESP for my 4 month old. They were 30 minutes late, told me they couldn't help me because I wanted self-directed trading for the account and that it would be faster and easier for me to do it at home. Only once I finally get a chance to get online at home when i have my hands full with an infant I discover it is not a click of a button to open an RESP unlike other investment accounts. I would have to find the proper forms, fill them out, print them and physically mail them in like they would have done in office. Except now I don't have the help to guide me through the forms properly. That was the whole point of the appointment in the first place!

We had a financial advisor appointment booked with Vandana for 2.5 weeks. She called 30 minutes prior to to cancel the appointment, simply because she wanted to go home early on a Friday. We had time booked off work for this appointment and had childcare set up and paid for. What horrible customer service!

Absolutely pathetic branch. DO NOT TRUST THEIR ABMs! TWICE this year my money was “lost” in their machines, and I had to go in person each time to retrieve it. They never called, or looked into their MALFUNCTION. And each time I went in they acted like I was lying and not telling the truth, even though I had the evidence. Now I have to go back the THIRD time in person to get my fees reimbursed because they charged me OVER LIMIT on top of the mismanagement of my money. Completely incompetent and never proactive on the solution. BEWARE of using the machines here.

Very inconvenient, locked my card for no reason, didnt notify me, couldn't do anything over the phone, required me to come to the branch to fix it and they are closed for the weekend and the holidays, so i couldnt use my card. Ohh and they never pick up the phone.

This branch is accommodating specially Rosalinda she is very knowledgeable she guided me through my finances and try her best to help me.

I'm not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from because my experience at this branch location was nothing but amazing for my fiancé and myself. I have not had the same good experience at other banks and for this reason we wanted to try Scotiabank. I was very impressed by the branch manager Chris. He was nothing but kind, polite, professional and took all his time to explain everything we needed. We have dealt with Chris a couple of times through, phone, email and now in person and he is extremely helpful. Thank you Chris for making our experience at Scotiabank so great! We look forward to continue working with you!
