Stole my welcome bonus and have in general worse service than other banks that do not charge fees. Why pay for worse service and ancient ATMs?

Iv never had a good experience at this branch.first time i came in with no makeup on, not the best outfit, to deposit some cash into my account. Her attitude towards me was horrible, and wouldnt count the cash infront of me.saw her speak to another co worker and gave me a huge side eye.second time, came in to order a new card, was nearly turned away saying i could do it myself.she obviously did NOT want to be there. Co workers around her chomping on gum, no name tags, no professionalism at all.i avoid this branch at all costs.

Worst place ever. They really don’t want your business. Went in with a significant sum of cash. Teller counted it out and checked it. She wanted to know where the cash came from. I said it’s “cash” I asked if it was good cash? She said yes and she would just need an approval from her manager for a deposit over a certain dollar figure. The manager came over and demanded I give paperwork for how I got the cash. I again asked if the cash was good. I then said you are not revenue Canada. He said he would need paperwork to prove why I had this cash. I said just give me my money back now. That took 10 minutes to get back and this coward branch manager took off for his office. I am a 30 plus year customer of the Scotiabank and nobody should be treated that way. Extremely unprofessional. Hopefully they fire this guy as he is cocky and rude

Worst bank and staff in whole of Canada. They don't know what they r doing and r bloody retards. Kept me waiting 1 hour for the last 3 times to access my safety deposit box.

This location! The financial advisors do not know how to do basic math! Instead of paying off my credit card they paid off one of my dads that he hasn’t used in 10 plus years! Instead of fixing the problem they put in on the customer to do so!
Incompetent staff always sick or on vacation! Needs to be serious change in staff here since they can’t seem to do the basics of their jobs! - disgusted with Scotia bank!

If I could rate it at a zero I would rate this bank a zero the customer service in here is absolutely horrible. Every single teller has the most unprofessional customer service experience. They do not know how to deal with public or people. It is very frustrating.dealing with this bank the so-called manager, which they won’t even give the title manager to. They call her a team lead. Sharon Jackson, Rennall is also no help at all as a team lead/underpaid manager, as a customer who pays their bank fees and has banks with his bank for a very long time I am reconsidering my bank choice and looking for a better option that fits me

Avoid this branch. They believe they are different from other branches of Scotia. And their ignorant staff reflect it. Banking here makes you want to cancel Scotia all together. This is how they treat business accounts

Employees sent customers back without a solution. They say it won’t happen from the next time but it’s the same every time. All they have to say is ‘May be because of Technical issues’. They link every problem with this statement. They don’t spend much time listening to what’s the main problem but rather hurry in taking the next customer in line.poor customer service, lack of communication.

1. Envelope-free deposit does not work. Never has. It's broken as hell. So have fun waiting two hours in line.
2. This branch failed to close one of my credit accounts even though I made an appointment, they were instructed to do so, and I even filled out the paperwork.
3. The mobile app literally steals your money and overdrafts you intentionally by overcharging your debits. I've tested this theory by checking my balances in-person at the bank and then from the app, before and after debits when close to my limits. They steal from you and then blame it on software being "slow", which is a lie.

I'll be changing banks as soon as I am able to.

Horrible customer service. Do not go here. You can tell that they don't want to be there, and could care less about you. Unprofessional staff.

They are extremely slow, two employees have extremely bad attitude, and make the procedure from 10 to 45 minutes.
They lack basic customer service skills.

Very poor service at this branch. Employees are poorly trained. I just moved to the area and will NOT be changing my home branch, even though it's several hours away. I went in today to set up a new joint account for my wife and I, and based on our experience over two visits so far we will be setting up that account elsewhere. Cannot recommend scotiabank based on my experience at this branch. Avoid like the plague.

The ATMs at this branch do not take deposits. I wasted my time driving to two different Scotiabank branches, trying to deposit three cheques. What a complete waste of time. Fix the ATM software.

I came in to withdrawal cash aware that my debit card was expired and I needed a new one, I was then told I needed to go to my home branch in order to get a new debit card, he said the other branch is open until 5 and I should “hurry”, I rush to the other branch only to be told by a worker they closed at 4 and that any location can print new debit cards…a total waste of time and gas, very bad customer service.

Great people working at this bank. Mr. Manjot is very helpful and very thorough. Thank you for all your advice.

If the 20th is on a Monday Scotia waits till that day to deposit CCB? FEBRUARY 20th is a holiday and they didn't deposit it February 18th? Time to say goodbye too Scotia bank

Montgomery branch on Saturday is impossible. Huge lines, long wait, and employees wearing baggy jeans and hoodies. Seems employees have little training also. Not a professional atmosphere here at all.

I don't think I have ever made a public complaint about a business before, but my experience at this bank warrants it. I just experienced the worst customer service I have ever received from a bank (or anywhere, really). I decided to switch my account to Scotia and I am seriously regretting that now. There was a problem activating the card that was sent to me and a teller named Heba made it seem like it was my fault and that I was an inconvenience. She was rude right off the bat and very short with me. The transaction to a long time because of an error in the system and the line grew behind. I felt absolutely humiliated by the end of it. I was in such disbelief at the service. Unbelievable!

Scotia is an amazing bank but this location on southdale rd e is the worst bank in the city

EVERY TIME I use their drive through ATM there’s ALWAYS an issue with it so at 10pm I decide to use the machine inside the bank but low and behold the Friggen door is locked. Another time I took money out of the machine then realized I needed to put some back in. Lol ya right! The stupid machine wouldn’t accept the money I just took out of it. They also help themselves to my money to pay themselves for bank charges without warning so I can default on a payment and get charged by the bank and the merchant! I hate this bank! Gonna move
