Was turned away and told to go to my home branch despite telling the receptionist that i work nearby and cannot make it back in time. I just gave up arguing with her.

This is the slowest bank I've ever been to. Came around 2: 30 on a Monday and waited over 45 mins in line. Brutal.

So far the worst bank I have worked with. People who is sitting at the brunch only good to sell products nothing more. If you call them they will put your on hold and then go ask the supervisor every single questions. Take no responsibility

I came in with a difficult question in regards to a family member, I'm not a Scotiabank client and a Ms Currie took the time to explain and was compassionate.

Terrible service. They only care about interest and fees. If you are in need they will turn you down. Moving my assest and my husband's out of here asap. Never dealing with Scotia again and this brunch is the worst!

These are the WORST ATMs in Toronto, just don’t even waste your time trying to go there to use them, the deposit function almost never works, and on the off chance it does it takes about 20 mins to get the machine to accept cash.

Really poor service. Asked to clear the hold on a bank draft deposit and not only they refused to do so but also played word games with me insisting on it takes 5 days to clear it and there’s no way for them to manually do so. I even provided the financial advisor’s information where the bank draft was issued to help them verify the information. Again refused to use it and said they can’t call the person I provide to verify and clear the bank draft. It’s really hard to tell if they are “strictly following” the bank’s policy or just don’t care to help their customers. Very disappointed.

Really rude customer service. I hate coming to this branch the only reason i have to come here is when its urgent since its near my work place. Never they have helped me in any way. This branch peole really need to get some training on how to talk to customers. Even the manager is not helpful at all. Just because of this branch customer service i hate scotiabank never can I get any work done in this branch. Really they deserve 0 stars. So many people have posted negative comments but these people just doesn’t seem to care to improve any service

Opened an account with the $300 promotion payment within 60 days. After 7 months, all conditions met and no payments. The just want to charge $16 per month. Disappointing service. Fake promotion? ! Do not open account with Scotia. Small banks give better service and care a bit for customers

3 different financial advisors promised me a credit card fee reimbursement for opening a chequing account and they did not follow through. The employees here are untrustworthy and I will not be returning to this location.

I cannot describe the horrible service of Scotia bank. You can be on the line for hours. The bank just doesnt care about customers

Absolutely the worst atm machine in Toronto belongs to this Scotiabank branch at 145 King West. I tried to withdraw a big amount of cash from a Tangerine account and it spits out all in $20 bills.there are 2 ATMs but both have no options with larger bills like $50 or $100. Then when I tried to deposit it to another account, both machines will not accept the cash I just took out. Nothing but hassle from these atms, they are garbage!

If you want poor service and confusion and your time wasted; then this is the place for you. They can't even order cheques correctly. They never sent my request to their office and then everyone started explaining and if turned into a joke. Can't wait to move to BMO. Og and try calling the branch, good luck! What a horrible experience. The branch manager should be called for questioning about disarray in his shop!

SCOTIABANK JUST MISTREATED ME HORRIBLY. I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE HOW INHUMANE THEY ARE WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS, specially when you have a disability.i will close all my accounts with them and go someplace else, where i'm treated as a HUMAN BEING, not by some greedy corporation.

Amanda is a great bank teller with a great sense of humour! She's also great at handling large amounts of cash so try to request her!
