This branch basically took money out of my account and put it towards an account that was closed. I had zero idea that they're allowed to take money without consent! I am beyond livid because it wasn't small change. It was almost $1000! I am beyond livid because that's money that was supposed to go to my kids. Now I'm out of $1000. Assistant manager hasn't updated his voicemail since May 1. So not sure who's going to get my money back at this point.

Went there @ 10: 13pm on Friday to use ATM and doors were locked and couldn't get it to use ATM as result drove another 5km to go to another branch!
TO MANAGER RUNNING THIS PLACE - I AM HIRING A JANITOR! SINCE YOU CANNOT RUN THE BRANCH PROPERLY, IF LOOKING FOR A JOB, PING ME. MAYBE YOU CAN RUN JANITORIAL OPERATIONS WELL.

Any advice, where I can report this location? I cannot access ATM machine at all times. Before they were broken, now they say it is closed at 7 p.m. It is ridiculous, I cannot get any cash!

This is a small branch, so if you want anything more than $500 Cash you need to either place an order ahead of time or go to another branch. How ridiculous is $500 as a maximum nowadays? That is their excuse, shouldn't branches be the same across the board? I had to head to another branch to do a remainder of my transaction I originally wanted.

Want to be profiled because of your age, race, gender etc? This is the place for you! Manager loves asking question after question for a simple deposit, just to say he can’t do it. Wasting my time while being payed for his, would not recommend this place to anyone.

I had very bad experience there with Grace (Teller). She was so rude and unprofessional. Also, her manager supported her instead of apologizing.
I wanted to open a business account there but I changed my mind because of their behavior.
I do not suggest this branch at all.

Horrible location, terrible service. I tried closing my account multiple times, was told it would be done, until finally 2 months later I was told I needed to make a phone appointment to do so. After paying over $100 in bank fees for an account I never used, I was finally told I could not close the account (which had a $0 balance) because it was in a negative balance, and I needed to deposit yet more money to cover their "future charges". Needless to say I am thrilled I switched over to BMO over a yea ago. It was the best decision I ever made. Clearly Nickle-and-diming customers is more important to Scotiabank than building long term relationships or customer loyalty. Anyone reading this, think twice before choosing Scotiabank. I guess the average review score of this branch speaks for itself.

I’ve been with Scotiabank since December 2017 and today I finally had enough. The staff is unprofessional and they talk down to you. Their Business Advisor Raz Saremi, and another staff member, Layla, do not have strong problem solving skills, nor do they have appropriate communication skills when dealing with customers. They make every situation very personal, and then use it against us by taking advantage of our vulnerability, as a way to show their authority. There are lots of other banks out there that you all should take advantage of, but i would stay away from this branch specifically.

I will not be banking with Scotia. Raz Saremi is extremely unprofessional and condescending. Him and another employee that go by the name of Layla lack the appropriate skills to work so closely with individuals in an environment such as Scotia. They definitely take advantage of clients and offer them the worst possible solution to problems which have directly impacted my quality of financial living. Please bank elsewhere.

Scotiabank at this Location have a meaning of bureaucracy, too slow service, too many questioning like asking me why you are banking here while your adress or office is not here and bodering. Unprofessional manager whome female that I meet and Gauri Tyagi, and also a male whome dont remember the name is
curly haired male clerk whome wearing glass. I do not sagest this location for any kind of banking.

Mr. Raz saremi is the most unprofessional personnel i ever seen. Been doing banking with this bank for over 10 years. Went in today to deposit a check like every Friday. I was speaking with a teller and this gentleman overheard us speaking. He asked me to go in his office where he started questioning my income and how it’s suspicious the amount of money i’m making. He said from now on my cheques will have to go on hold. Like what? Your not even my advisor. Worry about your own clients. He the reason why I'm going to sign up with td.

I have been to this location for many years now. Generally speaking, my experience has always been pleasant because the tellers are quick and very friendly. Amidst COVID-19, this branch discriminates against healthcare workers. My mom was here weeks ago (I drove her to this Scotiabank) and they would not service her because she was dressed her in scrubs as she was making a trip to the bank before she was going off to work. All the other customers in line were allowed to go into the bank but she wasn't. They insisted that she goes to the machine and service herself. I was going to stay quiet about this but I thought this discriminate against healthcare workers is ridiculous (because anyone can catch the virus) and I wanted to bring awareness to this issue.

Bank empty. Six employees “pretending” to be busy inside, just standing around, with a staff member at the door deterring people from walking in and encouraging/ forcing them to use the bank machine instead!

I have been a customer for 18 years. Never had an issue until today when I called the main branch on January 18,2019 @ 6: 30pm to resolve a transaction on my account which was clearly their error. The bank closes at 8pm, so I figured this would be resolved in less than 30 minutes. I’m not sure why I was on the phone with customer service for an hour and a half and why they had put me on hold for 10minutes at a time to figure out what went wrong. On the last 30 minutes, I asked to speak to the manager and they put me on hold again. This time no one bothered to check if I was still on the line. I get it, the bank was closing in 30 minutes, so it’s ok to pretend to put me on hold for that long when knowingly no one gave a damn because they all just wanted to pack up and go home. Hoping that I would just hang up. I appreciate the agent, Mary, who kept putting me on hold for so many times. She was only doing her job. I hope that they give their other workers/management more in depth training on how to take care of their clients and not ignore them while on hold for more than 30 minutes. As of tonight, and for the rest of the weekend, I have no money because they took a transaction that was already paid for. No one cared other than Mary, who could not do anything about it but put me on hold several times as she tried to get help. I bet she was told not to pick up again because no one wanted to deal with it. Bless her heart. Just really disappointed. Hoping to get better service in the future. Nothing wrong with the bank. It’s the management staff who doesn’t know to do their job properly.

Wow what a horrible experience trying to get someone from the branch on the phone. Had an urgent banking issue and after 7 times calling (and 2.5 hours later) into the branch still did not get anyone on the phone or to call me back.
The call center was also incompetent as they gave me details of a completely different branch that I wasted my time in calling just to find out its the wrong branch. I cancelled my business account with them a while ago and transferred it to RBC who did a MUCH better job than Scotia to assist with my business needs, and now it looks like I will be closing my personal account as well and transferring my business to RBC. Really bad experience with Scotia. JUST HORRIBLE.

The teller we deal with was fantastic and kind. The FSR was distant and wanted to push us out of the office as soon as possible. In other words, as soon as he got his unit, we left. Nothing was clearly explained and he didn't introduce himself to me. Really unprofessional!

It wasnt even busy when i got there, one person infront of me but still waited more than 30 minutes. This was on a tuesday mid day.
