Cant Imagine worst bank than this one. They are liars.the person told me to go another branch because they don't have officer call fraud department. When another branch' assistant manager messaged them asking them if they did that, they says 'No this person never came'. Shame on such act.

The most racist bank I’ve been to anytime I’ve deposited a cheque anything they hold it because I’m a black man … i received my license plate refund from the government and was told it had to be put on hold …. A legit government cheque had to be held … I’m closing my accounts and do not recommend any ppl of colour go here u will not be respected at all

This branch is horrible or maybe Scotiabank itself. Charged me $15 just to print the statement foe my account. I suggest just take your business to other bank for good.

Yeterday i went to get a proof of funds. The girl on the first counter was chewing gum and on her phone all the time and when i was going out i said thankyou and she didn't even reply to me.i have been Bank teller myself in the past for Rbc bank as well and i think this type of customer service was never allowed. And i went last week to get proof of fund and the same girl told me that they don't give it like that i said i am ready to pay for it but she didn't listen.so yesterday i went with a proof that recently my friend got it from scotiabank and then she printed it. I don't knw why even though i told her i would pay she didn't print it for me the first time. The attitude of the same girl is absolutely not accepted won't even be going to the same branch would rather go to a far one.

As today nov, 19th 2022 I went to this branch witch is my home branch where myhlme morgage was issue.upon having some concern about my property tax payment changing every often I was assinged to see (franca sau) to explain me what was going on, she left me more concern and confused and told that if I don't like how scotiabank handles my property tax payment, to pay it my self and she told me to leave her office 'cuz she didn't have no time, I asked her for her or the branch manager bussines car she refused to give me one, it's was a very rude and unproffesional way she reffered at me at the end by telling me that she doesn't look into morgage account. And little kicked me out of her office.

Worst services ever. I went there for portfolio and they said we gonna charge u 15 dollar for stamping i said ok charge me but i jus got simple signature of girl not even stamping. R u serious guys jus to sign u charged me even in other branches its jus free stamping signing everything.
Its for immigration purposes man i want stamp. And why the services are different here if its same scotiabank.

Very unprofessional, She set my Chequing account as Savings and Savings as chequing, and I did not know until my card was being declined and I called customer service. Plus on the day of my appointment I was there at before 12 pm for an appointment at 12, when I inquired after waiting for 40 mins she told me that she took the 12.30 customer first. I regret becoming a customer within the first week itself

I took a day off and Booked my appointment to open a business account at this branch, went there at scheduled time and found out Mr. Arish esmail (the one with whom my appointment was booked) was not certified to open the account and they don't have any one that can do it, this idiot could have emailed me back right after the booking was done but he waited for me to come in and explain his stupidity, so unprofessional and disorganized.

Disgusting Financial advisor here Kamla Tooral. She was asking for an updated SIN number that is something really confidential. Will make sure my complaint reaches head office. No wonder it's Brampton. I was having PR confirmation and every document that supports for what I was there. First she asks 2 paystubs and then 3. She herself was confused. I gave Paystubs for proof of address but I believe she is James bond. She needs every unnecessary information.

My name is Harmandeep Kaur. I am a client of scotia bank since 2017. As some fraudlent happened into my account in which I am the victim and I have all the proofs. Rather than chasing the culprit bank has ceased my account and charged me.even after charging me for nothing still my account hasn't been released by the bank. All the departments want me to contact my home branch. I have contact information for Manager, assistant manager and one more officer but they are not even taking my call. Its happening since 29th of may. I have also filed a police report and police said this report is going to be enough to get my account unreleased. Through a branch here in Calgary I have also sent an email along with the police report to this branch but I haven't received any response. Just because of this activity of bank I am not even able to login into my CRA and CIC account. I just do not understand what are they verifying if they are not even contacting me and even after charging me for nothing they still have kept my account on hold. If this is the thing they should atleast contact me to lemme know what should I do next.
Such a shame. These people are very irresponsible.

Really bad costumer service, I am go there to deposit few checks on my accounts, I tell to the person in front of me to deposit 1 check in a serving account one more on my second serving account e the rest on checking, the guy putt all on checking, I can do that at the machine easily, without stay on line for 30 min, I go back and speak to a girl on the front and she said I can do nothing for next 5 days because now is in hold, very disappointed, I was thinking to chose this as my branches because now we leave close to this but now I don’t think I go there no more

Worst customer service. Attendants needs to show some humility and patience torn customer's trust. I had to visit the branch and call multiple times just to get an appointment to see a specialist to open a bank account.

We have made 2 telephone appointments and the first time, the bank rep.told us we would need to talk to someone else about porting our mortgage and that we would get a call back shortly that day. After a few days of not getting a call back, we decided to book another telephone appointment which was only available the next week at 9: 30 a.m. We set up an alarm and my husband set time out of work to speak with the specialist. Again no call. We left a voice mail and called the help center and was assured he would call back by the end of the day and that he was sorry he missed the appointment. The bank is now closed. We still haven't gotten help and we are on a time constraint with our house sale which is already stressful along with the move. We have also left a message with another mortgage specialist in the branch and haven't gotten a call back after a week. I'm not sure if they are interested in keeping our business. We are hoping it is just this branch and not Scotiabank that is negligent of their customers. We sure would like some help soon. The off-site help centers are great though!

UPDATE: We received an apology for the appointments that was not kept and was promised another appointment the very next day. Guess what? After all that, no one called. For the amount of trust and investments customers put into banks, we feel like there should be more professionalism. This is unbelievable.

I Recently moved mortgage to CIBC and closed all accounts after negative experience at this branch. Staff are unprofessional. First did business with Scotia bank in 2006, all was well. On mortgage renewal January 2020 this branch has worst rates. Staff attitude was 3.1 is rate take it or leave, so I did leave.

I wish I can give them review in negative. I have been a customer with Scotiabank for 15 plus years I dont use Scotia as my primary bank and never will, worst service, worst call pick ups, worst call transfers, worst knowledge by the staff, worst hours, worst worst worst. I was excpecting a deposit from USA they rejected it after giving me a 15 day run around, multiple calls, branch visits no help; gave me information to get the deposit in my savings acoount which I gave it to my people now its been 5 days they are still giving me a run around after 12 phone calls they said i need to give 2 more numbers.why didnt they gave this info before? I will be closing my daughters RESP's, my line of credit, savings and visa from them, Scotia is the worst bank to deal with. I wish I find a way to spread this to as many people as possible.

Worst staff working there. I went there for make a draft.there were two girls one girl was new and other one was teaching her.they don't even listen you just they are talking each other.they didn't make a draft bcoz they said its doesnt look like your right person. I had everything in my handi.my driver licences my social insurance number my debit card my all credit cards even I showed them my online banking. I was so disappointed even when I left from there they are looking each other and loughed.its disrespect. There are all girls was so rude. I will never go to this branch again.please you guys don't waste your time don't go that branch.go somewhere else.

I call Scotiabank today they connect me with this branch. Cause this is my home branch the representative was very rude she said why you call us you can check it online. I didn’t see anything over there thats the reason i call to bank and she said why you call us there’s nothing and she was keep saying that you should see online banking rather then calling us.

I called the branch just to have a simple question answered. The system re-directs me to a national customer service centre which I did not ask for since my mortgage paperwork is at the branch. After 5 minutes on hold the rep was going to transfer me over to the branch (which is what I had asked for in the first place). Just to be disconnected. A very frustrating experience. I basically wasted half hour of my time for nothing. What happened to the old fashion way where people were answering the phone and REALLY giving top notch customer service! I guess I leavfe in the past. Not cool Scotiabank
