Honestly one of the smoothest Scotia experiences I’ve had in a while. My Rogers wasn’t working but let me tell you my bank was! Was helped by a friendly young man named Alex who seemed to know his stuff. Mobile banking has never made sense to me so Yonge and Wellesley you haven’t seen the last of me!

The staff at this branch were wonderful! Donnareen in particular was extremely helpful and compassionate. Definitely recommend the branch!

I understand that for customers’ own security and safety, the staff has to ask so many questions to make sure the person who stands in front of them is the owner of the bank account. Just imagine, if someone else took your bank card and go to the bank to try to get your money or access your confidential information. What will you feel and react?

So be understandable for their hard work to protect your $.

I went there once to get a form filled out for a rental application and the lady who helped me was very helpful and kind. Not sure why this place has such bad reviews. Maybe I got lucky.

The best customer service I have ever experienced. They solved my problems within minutes and the staff is super polite and experienced!

It is nice to know that there are still people in the banking industry that actually care about your situation and not just see you as a number. The branch supervisor Nancy is one of them. She quickly reply to me and resolved my issue.

Initially I was on the phone with a rep not working directly at this branch but tried getting a hold of them and ended up sending a message to the branch supervisor who called me within the hour. Excellent turn around!

Also, at the beginning of the pandemic around May I received a call from Scotiabank asking how I was managing and if there was anything they could help me with. I also got a follow up call about a month ago to go over my credits and see if they could help lowering the interest. Which they did! I am really impressed that they reached out.

Either i have terrible luck or this place is just no good - the ATMs are glitchy and the service reps are even worse. I expected much better

The service at this location is awful. Sadly it's my home branch but it may not be for long. Very disappointed.

Losing points due to its horrible business hours. They're only open Monday- thurs 9: 30-4 and Friday 9: 30-5. That's completely useless for the vast majority of people with office jobs.

ABM ate my $200 and it was very hard to get back because three operators told me three kinds of process and didn't solve my problem at all

You looking to get service from a special needs friendly environment this is it here. It is very inspiring to see so many autistic people given a chance to be working at a bank as a team together. Special needs people need jobs and autism is such a taboo subject in todays society. If you're looking for extremely low service, people with a few extra chromosomes and staff who have the IQ of a stinky donkey this is the right place.

Horrible location, crack needles littered outside the bank. Homeless people everywhere. Unsafe location to do atm banking outside. Long line up insides. God help you if you need to see a officer to open up a bank account or get a bank draft. You feel like you're in Nazi germany with the amount of questions they ask you. This place needs to close asap or change. Maybe take that 500 million dollars you spent on buying the air canada center and reinvest it in the banks.

If i could give this bank zero stars i would. Horrible. Unkept. Lazy people. Remember folks you only need high school to work as as a bank teller. Don't let their suits or attire fool you. These people are uneducated and a waste of time.

Very poor location. Staff is not knowledgeable and plan outright ignorant. While the the line up is out the door I hear staff behind the counter talking about the men they slept with last night. Crazy insane high school banter coming from adults who have customer service jobs.

Utter insane.

Excellent Service. Excellent teamwork and wonderful atmosphere. Love seeing my favourite tellers and Fiancial advisors. Thank you for being so wonderful every time I come in! The Customer Servcie Supervisor is exceptional!

Their ATM ate my debit card. I went in to the branch, like the machine told me to, and they said there was nothing they could do. What a garbage bank.

Horrible Horrible Horrible! Very bad short hours. Closed on Weekends, extremely slow service and everytime a dissappointment. Guys, I closed all my Scotia accounts due to many factors and ran back to BMO. I would advise the same to everyone!

Always a long line and rude staff. An elderly gentleman who had trouble standing in line mentioned they needed more tellers (9 people in line, 2 tellers working at 2pm). Her response was "this is a busy time of day). Worst banking establishment I have ever been too.
