On Feb 02 2023, I had an appointment with Tushar Mathur to get a new credit card and update my address on file.
I was issued a card that day and I've had terrible experience since then.
1. The credit card was sent to my previous address, even though I had specifically requested him to update my address and gave address proof. I had to go to my previous address only to find out they returned the card to the sender and then had to go through the whole process of changing the address and getting a "replacement"credit card. Was without a credit card for more than month. Kudos!

2. I wasn't aware that he signed me up for Credit Card insurance. Almost every month since then I've been paying $16+ for that without my knowledge.

Even though I've recommended Scotiabank to my friends and family previously, I wouldn't recommend it from now on.

Title: Terrible Experience with Praff at This Bank branch

I had the absolute misfortune of dealing with an individual named Praff at this bank, and I must say, it was an infuriating experience from start to finish. Not only was Praff incredibly rude, but his behavior crossed the line into outright harassment. It’s shocking that someone with such a blatant lack of professionalism is allowed to interact with customers.

To make matters worse, Praff displayed a shocking lack of knowledge regarding his job responsibilities. It was evident that he had no understanding of the basic concepts and procedures that one would expect a bank employee to be familiar with. It’s baffling how someone so uninformed managed to secure a position at this institution.

I approached this bank seeking assistance and guidance, but all I received was frustration and anger thanks to Praff’s antics. The level of disrespect and incompetence I encountered was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for Praff or the bank management.

I strongly urge anyone considering doing business with this bank to think twice, as my encounter with Praff was an absolute nightmare. The utter lack of professionalism, combined with his rudeness and harassment, make this a place I will avoid at all costs in the future. Do yourself a favor and find a bank where the staff actually knows how to treat customers with respect and competence.

Service was brutally slow. Many people standing around doing tasks while customers are waiting in line for service. While I understand people have tasks that need doing, when there is a line of 6 people waiting 10+ minutes to take cash out - you really need to reprioritize. The ATM only offers 20s and unfortunately that doesn’t always meet the needs of the customer, employees should be prioritizing customers first in future.

Bank of Nova Scotia KITCHNER has wonderful people from management to tellers. Ever time I go there the really helpful. I wish every Bank in Toronto would a do the same. Go KITCHNER Go

Customer service was excellent. Susan was super kind and friendly, helped me with everything I needed, and made my visit a very positive experience!

Extremely unimpressed with the service advisor my mom and I dealt with today (I don't even remember seeing her name tag) at this branch. I fully understand that she was only trying to do her job but there's a fine line between trying to do your job and being completely belligerent. I told her more then a few times that my mother does not know how to read or write English and only speaks basic English, hence why myself and my sister have to help her when she needs to visit the bank (with which she has been with for over 4 decades). The service advisor proceeded to scold my mom, and tried to teach her how to use the pin pad. I told her, "did you not hear what I said the first 4 times or do you have a hearing problem". I then said to her that I knew that she was only trying to do her job but there's always an exception to any rule. I also suggested to her that she needs to listen more instead of trying to force her opinions onto others.

Unfortunately my problem isn't with this bank location. After 1hr 20 min on the phone with 4 different operators at Scotiabank. The pandemic is only 6 months long. After that your on your own. All I wanted was 3 more payments so I could back on my feet. Not even $900. Nope, after 6 months there is nothing they can do. SHAME ON YOU SCOTIABANK! Ill make the payments but know once there paid I will never deal with any form of your institution ever again. Call yourself a Canadian company. People are still out of work you know 7 months later. SHAME!

Great location since it is 7 minutes from the apartment I'm moving to in a couple of months. Not sure what a ABM written another person. Since I have yet to open an account so I give it a 5 star rating. But I do know what a ATM is.

I like this bank but one of staff member who’s name jovy behaviour is very bad.she has no any sense how to treat the client.

This is branch of Bank of Nova Scotia is located on Courtland Avenue East in Kitchener, Ontario. Great location as it is not very far from the Fairview Mall, and it is just steps away from the new train station at Courtland Avenue East and Block Line. It is good for the neighborhood since the closest bank is RBC Royal Bank of Canada located on Fairway Road, about fifteen minutes walk. What I do not like about this location of Scotiabank is the ABMs. There are only two of them, and they give cash withdrawal in tewnties with no option for larger bills which we have seen at other ABMs.
