Worst Scotiabank branch in 12 years' experience with Scotia. I visited for card replacement that was already done by phone. They verified all my ids and told everything in order. Then the manager asked me to call again to call center. After 1 hour of waiting when we talked with the call center lady and passed phone to manager, but she told to contact through internal line. Another one hour to wait, What a shame.

I left the branch and went to another branch and shown id and in 1 minute they provided me new card.

The worst experienced branch, no commonsense staffs.

I used to work at Scotiabank and I'm ashamed to admit that now. Worst location ever! This is where family hires family and friends hire friends. The result is nobody knows what the hell they're doing. They don't even deserve the one star I'm being forced to give in order to post!

We had appointment with mohammad jamil, for opening student gic account, the guy was talking to me like i was in some sort of interrogation, horrible attitude, you should fix your attitude first then start working in advice sector.i understand we were missing some documents but there is a way you deal with somebody, may be bank was closing soon so he didn’t want to work.the branch manager was nice though, muhommad jamil! You dont have to be there if you don’t want to!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would do it 100 times over. Horrible customer service. The customer service over the phone will tell me one thing about my account, and then the branch will tell me something completely different. I would have to go back and forth MULTIPLE TIMES to get all the right forms/documents requested and they would still refuse service. They don’t care about their clients and will do anything to rush you out the door. Management (Manpreet) is too incompetent to care about these issues and will also rush you out the door. Same story with the other locations. If you want to get actual banking done, try TD, RBC, or LITERALLY ANY OTHER FINANCIAL INSTITUTION.

The machine are scamming and robbing people, I cash out $300 it give me 3 rip $20 and it won't take it back.robbers, they specifically designed the machine to do this, thieves

Just like the other reviews, This location is an absolute disaster. Everything takes multiple visits. Provide a statement that is missing online.boom, no idea. Cash in resp- 3 calls. Try calling the 1800 main line. 46min wait. For the love of god, enough.

This location has the absolute worst costumer service I've ever experienced. The manager walked away in the middle of a dispute to sit at her desk and drink her tea.

One of my friends just went to open an account & apparently was told to go to TD Bank to open the account! Now what kind of CS is this? Trying to escape doing work? I call that being lazy & I actually can call out on the person who did this.

This was my first time to go in Soctia bank branch. I don, t have Appointment but when I reached to reception one customer was already there so I was waiting for few minute an other lady came to me and ask me how she can help me. I told her I don, t have appointment and i want to open a account.she ask me please wait and she will look for an adviser.next few minutes A adviser Pavneet Kaur came and take me and my wife to her office and open my account.she was so nice and explained me about all accounts available and which will be good for my needs. I am very satisfied the service provide to me by Fanancial Adviser

I signed up for a very basic checking account online and was told that the paper work would come into this Scotia branch in a few business day, which was understandable. After around 7-8 business days, I visited the branch yet the paper work was not there for me to sign. I understood and waited a few more days. Creating your account online should be more simple, and convenient rather than a burden for the customer. So, I went back a few days later and this time after going back and forth with the sales representative (who was very polite and accommodating), she found my paper work and proceeded to complete my account and issue me my card. The card that was issued to me wasn’t functional and I wasn’t able to make any transactions, so I had to go back to the branch for a third time, where they told me that my card was already functional (which it was not). So, after the guest representatives insisted that it was functional, I decided to go next door and test it out, and the card obviously still didn’t function. So, I had to go back to the branch for a fourth time, where they finally solved the problem.

All-in-all, creating a basic checking account should be simple to the customer, and that was not the case at this branch.

Good place for daily banking.
Worse place for mortgage and anything else.
Staff playing hide and seek with you and making lots of stories.

Absolutely horrible experience. I'm sure they have no idea how terrible their service is because they dont even bother returning your phone calls!
