This branch very bad and unprofessional customer service, both counting cash machine never worked. Just wasted my time when go to this branch.

I wish there is no star option, I will give no star, there is one senior guy I talked to him Saturday regarding deduction of $2000 from my credit card. There are such things was not clear to me and then Monday I went again to clear those things, he is too rude and yelling on me. Why the hell you get paid for? You should improve your customer service. I just took day off from my work to clear the things, but left home with empty answers again. It’s not he is rude on Monday, his way of talking was too bad. I wish, I could know his name to mention.

I have been with this branch for around 6 years, and haven't had any complaints. Tellers and managers have gone out of their way to help me many times. Would recommend and refer for sure. 5x

A lot people have mentioned the pathetic and terrible customer service of this branch.
I think that says for itself about how toxic this place is for customers.
The first point of contact associates have been trained to deny service very strategically at this branch.
They always manage to deny service in the branch with one or some other reason and will be extremely encouraging on coming on some other day.
They don’t care if you give scotiabank your business or not.
They also teach the same terrible customer service to the new hires as well. Someone from scotia should look at this.

I wish we had ZERO star option available. We had a call schedule for today at 10AM and their branch assistant manager didnt bother to call. What do you expect a branch when you see this behaviour from their management?

This branch is the worst for customer service. When to discuss my mortgage rates with Scotia Bank. Besides they cannot address the issue and help, called their "manager" - their manager was intimidating me constantly saying - "What do you want - the time of easy money is gone" and refused even to consider my situation.

The worst customer service ever. I was waiting on the phone for 30 min. They responded saying to wait a bit more and they got back to me after 20 min. I just waited curiously to see when this circuit would finish but then I got bored and hang up.
On another note, this branch is located in the heart of North York where Persian community lives. However, they do not offer service in Persian/Farsi. This is really bad for a bank branch. So, in all fronts, the worst branch of Scotia Bank.

Worst branch in Canada. The manager is of no use. One answer we get from them go you your home branch we cannot do anything. Worst experience of Scotiabank. The bank must monitor their employees behaviour and take necessary steps

Manager and staff are very rude. They don’t want to help you and just keep saying to visit your home branch. I would recommend not to waste your time here.

Worst customer experience went there to change my debit card but the manager literally refused me to provide the card. Never go to this branch and waste your time with dumb and untrained staff

I rarely write reviews but I believe it is warranted for the above and beyond service Khilood at Scotia bank did for my wife and I. She went the extra mile by explaining all of the scenarios that may come up and her specific recommendations based on our financial situation. She even came in to the branch on her day off to ensure the process kept moving forward to ensure our tight timelines were met. She kept us in the loop every step of the way, right till the end (we loved how she managed our expectations - sadly this is a rarity these days based on my past experiences) I would highly recommend asking her by name if you ever need any mortgage work done. Thanks again Khilood!

I would say this branch is the worst one in Canada. They have only one answer: " We can not do it here, you have to go to home branch". It happened at least 5 times to me. When I mention about it in my home branch they just laugh and ask if the home branch is not in Toronto.
NOTE:
Drive a few miles farther to any other branch if you do not want to waste your time and ruin your day

I banked here for years, I didn’t know what bad service was. I had to open an account with RBC for work.now I know what good service is. I won’t be going back!

MIMMA BELLA. That is what it says on her name tag. This thing is the personification of horrible service. She makes the fuss about me not having my debit card available even though I have my deposit slips handy. I am a business client after all. She makes a fuss and tells me about it as I had to finish totalling up my slip which I had done, I just wanted to get the denominations correct. Tells me to hurry up. Also tells me that she "was not my secretary" after I asked her to please get the rest of the coins needed for deposit from an extra $10 bill I gave her. Says I should give her exact change. Last time I checked that sort if thing can be done AT A BANK. Guess what, I am AT A bank. And I am asking for change as YOUR BUSINESS CLIENT. Then tells me sarcastically to have a good day. I indeed was going to have a better day after seeing her face off and making it look like I was the first to open my mouth negatively. I did not and I chose not to tolerate her behavior towards me. I deposit at whatever Scotia is available at the area I am at and no one else has this thing's absolutely poor attitude!

There’s no ATM at this location. What’s the point of a branch with not ATM? I saw another review that mentioned one but on Feb 17th there wasn’t an ATM in sight.

This bank ripped me off for $5 when I closed one of my accounts. Moved all my banking down the street to RBC.

This review will concern the ATMs: they are accessible when the bank is closed, and are indoors. You won't have to freeze. They do not accept American cash deposits because they do not accept envelope deposits.

Terrible management and advisers. They don't know proper protocol to handle customer issues. I complained to the President of Scotiabank and she mentioned that the adviser I went to got further training which is good. However, I blame the manager more as the manager did not know what to do in my situation either and therefore couldn't tell the adviser what to do.

Glad that my complaint with Scotiabank's president got my issue fixed and I got compensation for my problem. Also glad that the adviser I spoke with got further training.

Retarded policies, you have to have a job to get the 5000 scene points reward. Which makes it not eligible for high school students
