Client since 6 years. Three times i went there to retrieve statement for chequing account that was closed. Took over 2 months, no willingness to help, kept saying i have no authority, manager can’t check, asked to escalate no response. I gave account number and then she said can’t find so go to home branch which is 50km away. Pathetic services. Then i said banks required to keep it for 7 years and then lady said other advisor can’t find in system. Then she again did something, and found it. Customer service manager “0” willingness to help. No body here genuinely cares about the clients. Requested to retrieve image for cheque deposit. As i ask to waive the charge, she says she’ll take it from TFSA. Pathetic pathetic service. She says she doesn’t have authority. She took 3 months to figure out something that takes 5 minutes

Abel Cherian is the best advisor out there. I talked to him regarding loans and he was so knowledgeable. I would love to schedule again to talk on more finance stuff.

One of the best branches of Scotia Bank. I was struggling with some issues. I would like to thank shaline mohanadass. She helped me a lot! Solved all my queries in just 15-20 mins! Literally had an amazing experience with scotia bank

Went there to do a quick deposit yesterday Oct 9 2021. First: not enough tellers. Second: at least have tellers who know what they are doing. I had 4 deposits and I had to stop after one as it was taking way too long. The teller had to keep asking a fellow teller as where he was making mistakes and then I hear the other teller telling a customer that their branch is one of the busiest. So why doesn't Scotiabank hire proper staff especially when it is a busy Saturday? No use having so many stations and not hiring more staff to provide proper service.

Very poor customer service. Only 2 tellers working during high demand hours between 4pm and 5pm with tellers engaging in long conversations and slowing service. Manager watching and not assisting to move the line. Highly do not recommend choosing this location.

If it was possible, i would give -5 for this Scotia location for its ugly customer service and dealing with customers

Separately i wanted to add another minus -10 for their non-respect for older people

Worst customer service provided by the teller and branch supervisor during my visit. If I could give this branch a negative 5 stars I would. Very arrogant staff would never visit this location again.
Not sure if the branch manager will do anything cause they already have 2 star rating no wonder! Had to use the atm for business banking sounds pathetic right?

I will tell you interesting things to share about this bank. You know what if we need OUR account bank statement from this bank, then we need to pay $5 for OUR statement at this branch. This is just dis appointing that we have to pay charges to get paper copy of statement. This kind of policy is run by Bank and this branch. I do not see any logic to charge us for getting our account statement.

Everytime I have to come for in person banking I found new rules. It seems to me the tellers make their own rules as they please. This branch keeps going downhill more and more. Very rude personnel.

Highly disappointed. Seems like different employees follow different procedures for the same paperwork. It should be made clear if you require supporting documents to get something done. Not just whenever your employees feel like asking. Wasted my time here.

Interacted with 3 staff during 1 visit, seems the staff either lacks knowledge or have attitude issues.
At first they tried to ignore me when entered and they were closing, i had to say Excuse me after standing at the counter for at least 30 seconds, there were 3 staff.

Only the lady at the gates that let me out after seemed nice.

Shout out to the nice lady Risha at the Customer Information Centre. Thank you for being patient and understanding to the needs of your customers. It took us more than an hour to resolve the issue but you still manage to smile and converse nicely to your customer. I hope there are more Risha not just in banks but everywhere. Thanks again for all your help.

The bank associates here are really rude and they don’t know what to do. And has an attitude when trying to process a transaction.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I only deal here because my mom has her acct here and the branch closed in the previous location.
First problem is they removed the seniors line because they claim people complained. Another issue one of their staff left personal info on a voicemail. I did complain and got a call from the mgr but he was not very polite

Teller was dishonest. He did not give us the heads up that we need to bring in update for student account. He just went ahead and switched it without informing us. He deserves a 0 star

This is my closest branch. I have had four separate experiences with four separate staff members being incredibly unprofessional. I had a teller mess up and constantly swear at herself and then the manager blamed me for taking too long because the teller took forever to reverse her mistakes on the computer. I had a FA smirk and laugh at me because I couldn't understand basic financing.

This is the last time I am ever visiting this branch which is filled with miscommunication and unpleasant staff to deal with. The branch manager especially is the complete worse. Her name is Abby Sam and was no help at all. Looks like she stands around all day and just overlooks what everyone else is doing. She doesn’t know how to speak to clients, extremely rude. Not only was I at the branch for over an hour, the branch manager had the audacity to tell her teller to serve all the other customers in line before resolving my issue. Not once but twice! There were other tellers there that could have served the other people in line but she purposely did this so I would have to wait even longer. I got the number of the Presidents office and I will be calling and giving a very in-depth complaint regarding this branch. They really need to consider hiring someone with better customer service skills.

Closed the doors in front of my face. Branch closes at 4: 00 pm, was at the gates 4: 01 pm, refused me and insisted I use the ABM. Clearly gates were halfway closed way before I got there, they couldn’t have possible shut the gates in seconds. Seems to be the manager. Ridiculous.

Great experience, the teller Vaishnavi was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was very attentive to my request. Although there was the supervisor lady who interrupted our discussion and made me wait while she gave sarcastic comments. Seems like she is not fit for the job. They should have Vaishnavi as the supervisor and the lady as the teller so she can learn how to be professional.

Worst experience ever, created lots of trouble regarding credit card and less experienced staff member who opened my account.
Highly disappointed and frustrated by the service.
