From the moment we messaged Scott on WeddingWire, we knew we were going to be in great hands. We reached out nearly two years before our event (hey, we’re early planners!) and Scott has been a delight to work with since then.

Our first conversation was like meeting an old friend you didn’t know you had. Scott is truly kind, funny, and friendly. He is super communicative, and his online portal is amazing. We knew we wanted to curate our own playlists, while also letting the DJ strut his stuff and mix live. The Scottify portal was incredibly easy to use – one of the best compliments we got on the music was “you can tell a millennial put this playlist together”. What a great way to know that the music really felt like us as a couple!

We also had the opportunity to have Scott as our wedding MC. He ROCKED IT. He was charming, charismatic, funny, and got all the little details and announcements just right.

He was also super flexible and is a flawless chaos coordinator. He reached out to our venue well in advance of the wedding, and when he found out that the sound system at our venue wouldn’t work for the wedding immediately reached out to us with solutions and fixes. What could have been a stressful moment ended up being fixed quickly and easily.

For our intimate wedding (50 guests) in October 2022, we chose Scottify events as our DJ and host. From the very first meeting (few months before the event) up until the end of our wedding night, he was very professional and had a very positive energy.
He curated the perfect playlist for both the ceremony and the party with a bit of input from us. On the day of the wedding, he took care of the hosting duties as well which was executed perfectly. He even arrived early and almost finished setting up all his gear, speakers and lights even before our wedding organizers/florists arrived. Most importantly, our guests had so much fun and our dance floor was always packed because of the music and the energy.
All in all, it was a very positive experience and our wedding wouldn't have been as fun without Scott. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding/event DJ!

When we were looking for a DJ, we knew that we wanted very specific music to be played at our wedding. A vibrant mish-mash of pop, classic rock, musical theatre, and video game music (amongst many other genres). Scott was so wonderfully accommodating every step of the way. He really made the music work together so that we got to hear everything that was important to us while still creating a party that was enjoyable for all our guests (which we know was a tall task). We'd heartily recommend Scott to anyone we know looking to get married - we couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

Great experience! Scott was quick to respond from; the quote, questions, layout designs to the final delivery. He made the process so easy. His prices are very reasonable and his team is wonderful to work with. The guests had so much fun with the photo booth, plenty of different props and Jess was the best!

Simply put, Scott was incredible from start to finish. We were thoroughly impressed, confident, happy and would work with him in a heartbeat again if we could.

Professional, excited, genuine and enthusiastic to work WITH you from the beginning, Scott made sure he spent the necessary time to understand what vibe you were looking to have, what songs you were looking to play, and used his experience to put it all together the night of. Early and prompt the day of, he ensured everything was going to run smoothly.

The dance floor was packed, we loved the entire set and couldn’t be more happy with the sequence of it all.

He also - and this was beyond our expectations - essentially acted as our MC to introduce the entire party, along with introducing each speaker throughout the night. If you are debating between hiring an MC solely or having Scott do the honours. I promise you Scott will deliver above and beyond.

Do NOT pass on including the photo booth with props - they are simply hilarious and whether you like it or not, the crowd loves them. It was an awesome set up and a must have for a few hours in your night.

Scott was always quick to answer our questions, and made time to meet on zoom so that we could go over the song selections to ensure that we were happy. His website lets you choose your own songs-a very neat idea and user friendly. Scott kept the party going all night long and our guests raved about how great the DJ was. Our first experience with Scott was at our friend's wedding. He was their DJ, and all everyone talked about after the wedding was how great the dance party was! After getting engaged ourselves, we didn't think twice about hiring Scott to be our Emcee and DJ for our wedding. Pre-planning with Scott was a breeze, and the only thing I regret was not trusting the process sooner. On our wedding day, Scott was tasked with setting up sound service at three different locations at the venue, and Scott was able to keep everyone on schedule with the different transitions. But the best part? Scott knows how to read a room. Just like at my friend's wedding, he created an epic dance experience for us and our guests - playing hits we didn't even realize to add to our playlist. We are very thankful that Scott was able to provide his services for our wedding!

Scott was definitely our most organized vendor! He was proactive with check-ins and so clearly dependable, offered helpful suggestions, and was so friendly with guests on-site! Highly recommend!

We loved the selfie station and the photo booth and so did our guests, we all had a blast! Everyone even said the person who ran the booth made it super fun and she was very sweet. I also heard a lot of our guests say how amazing scott was as the DJ was (we already knew that) and people that don't normally dance, danced! And our wedding party as well as ourselves were so grateful to have Amanda as our day of coordinator help make the day run smoothly as there were a few hiccups along the way and she managed to deal with all of them gracefully and confidently. We have nothing but good things to say about these two, thank you so much.

We first met Scott when he was the DJ for my sister’s wedding, and after we danced all night there, we knew when it was time to plan our wedding, Scott had to be our DJ too! Scott was very easy to talk to and plan with. He was so organized, professional and really helped us plan our music for the day. His online music portal is very convenient, and allowed us to select all of the music we wanted to hear during our wedding day. We were so thankful for his stellar ability to mix tunes, read the dance floor, and simply provide the best DJ service.

It was a pleasure having Scott MC and DJ our wedding day. He showed up early to setup and was nothing but professional and entertaining all night. His portal was great to work with as it helped us ensure we had all the songs we wanted to be played all day. Our party goers could not stop or get off dance floor once the party/dance songs started (We could of been dancing till the morning if the venue didnt have a cut off time for us haha).

If you’re looking for a great wedding DJ, you should hire Scottify! Music is incredibly important to us and our friends and families. We have wide and eclectic tastes from classic rock, hip hop, punk, dance, rap, folk, jazz, soul, grunge, and more. Scott found a way to mix the genres cleverly for the different stages of the wedding reception, and most importantly, he threw us an epic dance party (my special request). Our friends and family were so impressed and had such a fun time! Now, whenever we hear songs from his set we have these beautiful memories of our wedding pop up in our minds, and we get to relive the experience.

Scott made the planning so easy. During the first meeting he was personable, interested in us as a couple and our musical point of view, and he even threw in complimentary lights. It was really fun talking to Scott about music because he has had such an interesting career DJing, and it was awesome to hear him get excited about our selections. His website lets you curate playlists and specify important songs, but is also Spotify compatible. These features let us tinker around and work on the playlists in one central location, which is helpful when you are planning so many different moving parts. Lastly, in our final meeting before the wedding, he gave great feedback on our day-of schedule that helped us organize and prepare our emcee, wedding party, and ourselves for the reception’s different stages.

Remember that you, as a couple, have a vibe and a vision for your wedding, and it’s important to pick a vendor who’s on the same frequency. Scott was definitely that person for us!

What more can be said other than the best day of our lives turned into the best dance party of our lives? ! Scott is the total package, from start to finish he made everything easy. He was super helpful with the planning stages, his wonderful wife is also an amazing wedding and event planner. He showed up early on the day and had everything ready to go and everyone in attendance couldn't walk the next day from dancing like crazy people all night. Hire this man.

My husband and I are very picky about music, and Scott was so easy to work with. He picked up on our style very quickly, and created a playlist that we truly loved. People were dancing all night, which is exactly what we wanted! We also loved the photobooth addition. Our guests loved it, and we have a lot of fun memories from it forever.

Scott is very professional and passionate when it comes to music. He was understanding of what we were looking for on our wedding day and very much knew how to how to keep the dance floor rocking. Scott was very accommodating. Even great lighting sound system and the photo booth was phenomenal. Will be definitely hitting up Scott in the future.

Scott and Amanda were very professional. Scott was very organized. He kept checking in on us and helped us stay on track with wedding planning. We had both DJ and photobooth services with Scottify Events. We would suggest booking more time with the photobooth as everyone had a blast.

Scott was great to work with. We originally hired him in 2019 when we got engaged and he stuck with us through several postponements related to the pandemic. It was very easy to work with Scott as we created a playlist of our favourite hits to give him an idea of our tastes and let him curate based on that. On the day of the wedding, Scott arrived early to set up, he MC'd, DJ'd, and provided much needed accent lighting. He knew how to read the crowd and keep the dance floor going, playing tunes that appealed to many demographics. Everyone had a great time and we've heard many compliments. The two year wait was worth it for maximum fun, minimum COVID!

We knew we were in good hands right from the start. We really loved having a more personal experience, vs.a company that would just send someone from a roster the day of. Scott took the time to meet with us and understand what we wanted from our celebration.

We had the pleasure of having Scott from the beginning of our ceremony (and he even cued the bride as to when to start since she couldn't see around the corner!) through to the wee hours of the morning.

He provided everything we wanted and more! We loved having the ability to put together lists of songs we wanted on his platform, or to just send him Spotify playlists we made. We opted to use his lights which made the dance floor extra fun, as well as the photo booth option and now have a gallery of fantastic photos of our guests! As a delightful addition, he recorded the speeches made through the evening which we will now be able to cherish for years to come.

He worked really hard during our event to make sure everything was smooth with the audio and everything was lovely. We are so happy we chose Scott to help us celebrate our night – we had so much fun, and loved that there were so many extras we could choose from to make the day even more special!

Our wedding got postponed twice during COVID. Scott was extremely accommodating with rescheduling and was awesome when our big day finally arrived.
